We particularly liked the variety of the tour. Got to see places we would have never seen otherwise.

We took this tour on 21/3 and it will be a highlight of our 5 days in Hoi An! It was relaxed, and we did saw, ate and did a lot: we visited Kim Bong carpentry village to see the artisanal wood working, cycled through beautiful rice paddy fields, corn plantations and visited an elderly couple weaving sleeping mats - we even got to have a go at making them, and were given little weaved bracelets as a souvenir! Next we went on a basket boat tour down an islet which was very relaxing - the boat man showed us coconut palm fruit, which we got to try, the little fish in the river, and weaved us a little coconut “watch” out of coconut palm leaves! Then we cycled to a local place to make rice paper, which we then put between rice crackers and ate with soy sauce and chilli. For lunch we had a delicious bowl of pork and veggie noodles at the same place. We cycled back towards the old town and stopped for a local kumquat and sugar cane juice - again, delicious! We had Tam as our guide for this tour and he was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area - definitely ask for him when you book this tour!

Highly recommend doing this tour if you’re in Hoi An! Tam was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable showing us round the villages. The bamboo boat tour was a particular highlight - a short peaceful cruise down a secluded river. The food was also top notch!

I have no memories because they cancelled the trip the day of. They said they would take me the next day. Unfortunately I was not in Hoi An the next day.

Mr Tam was a nice guide who took us through the bicycle ride from Hoi An city into the outskirts. It was an enjoyable afternoon cycling and seeing a quieter part of Hoi An. The tour locations itself however, was a little "oversold" in the description. The carpentry village was one shop, there was no fishing, just a single basket boat floating around in the river, we did go into a couple of homes where the owners were weaving bamboo mats, and another allowed us to try and make noodles. It was overall, a little underwhelming! But if your expectations are managed, one can look past everything else and just enjoy cycling through the paddy fields.

I toured with a small group with Tam as the tour guide. He was passionate to share Kim bong village with us. It was nice sitting in the coconut boat down the peaceful river away from the crowd as well!

Amazing tour. Sun was an awesome tour guide explained everything in detail and was very friendly! The locals were amazing and so warm and friendly. Highly recommend. Taking the bike out of the city can be a bit scary but once you're out it's very peaceful and relaxing.

Outstanding Bicycle tour with Tam And Tho! You need to experience this wonderful off the beaten path bike tour! You will see and fall in love with the beautiful people of Vietnam. Make rice noodles, do wood working, paddle a boat, blow a coconut leaf whistle, make sleeping mats and on and on!

Oh my goodness! This was the best thing we did in Vietnam and by far the most authentic experience. We met so many local, made rice mats, rice noodles, coconut bracelets, and went with a local in a bamboo boat eating coconut hearts. Tam and Tho were our guides and were just wonderful! If you can only do one thing in the Hoi An area we recommend this!

We had an amazing tour with Tam! He took us to lots of great spots in rural Hoi An, and he stopped at lots of good photo spots. And he was a great photographer for us. :) The bike riding was down peaceful back roads and we felt safe the whole time. It was a lovely way to learn more about rural life in Vietnam.
