Totally amazing tour, taking in so much of local life. Travelling in an old jeep was great fun. As we didn't want to do the basket boat again, we asked to go to the pottery village instead - here we were rewarded with an opportunity to watch and do some pottery with locals, then there was rice paper making and eating with an elderly couple, watching mat making, the vegetable village and a fantastic coffee shop stop in the middle of the country. Our guide Tien Tien was excellent, both informative and fun. Excellent half day tour. Thank you.

We had an amazing time on our tour. It was great to see some traditional items being made. The guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable.

Me and the Wife took the tour and were picked up direct from the Hotel on time . Sunny our guide was absolutely brilliant full of information on all places we visited which varied from country houses to river boat ride all in a open top American jeep driven by his brother definitely worth the experience made all the better by Sunny

The best trip! Our tour guid tahn was bloody brilliant, so knowledgeable, chatty, funny, and took some brilliant pictures. We had just come down to Hoi a from Hanoi and wanted to do some real local sight seeing rather than the top spots. We met some fabulous people and really had the best time, if you thinking of booking this tour, do it you won’t regret it!

An amazing tour and amazing tour company!!! First, from the very first moment in booking the tour, loved the opportunity to customize the vehicle, the choice of whether I wanted a meal, and private or group. Next, as my husband and I were having breakfast, we saw our car pull up 15 minutes early, the driver got out and started shining up the car...that showed me they cared about attention to detail. Promptly at 830am, our tour guide, Thanh exited the vehicle to greet us and review the itinerary for the day. We visited the several local villages to learn about the people and their livelihoods. This tour lived up to its name as it truly is hidden gem. My husband Bob and I also enjoyed sharing stories with our guide, Thanh who continued to follow up with us after the tour to see if there was anything else we needed. in this tour you can experience rural vietnam and crafts. it’s actually very pleasant to take the jeep. you are “closer” to things - a bit like on a bicycle but protected from the sun and with a nice breeze. our “local buddy” was john. we had a lot of fun, learned a lot and also got insights into the life of a modern young vietnamese family like his. the extra foto and videoservice with john’s mobile was highly appreciated. strongly recommended - both tour and guide !

We loved this trip - our guides Ben and Vin were brilliant. They were so thoughtful about making us feel safe - I'm no spring chicken and last went on a motorbike in my 30s. They were very good drivers. The information was fascinating - we learnt lots about traditional life. But at no time did we feel like intrusive tourists - we were welcomed into people's homes. We tried our hand making rice pancakes and weaving. The vegetable village was lovely and Ben showed us so many plants and herbs. The countryside around Hoi An is beautiful and our guides pointed out lots of other crops. It's also fascinating to hear how the Vietnamese use everything - nothing goes to waste. The basket boat ride was fun although we avoided the Gangnam Style excursions and were paddled the other way! A nice stop at a cafe overlooking a shrimp farm too - this trip covers so much in half a day.

Tien was a great guide. The food during the tour was delicious, the local people we interacted with are fascinating, and the activities are engaging and fun.

We had a great and insightful tour visiting the countryside with private guide Sunny and a driver. It was very easy to customize the tour to match what we did not see yet. Sunny was great and could answer all of our questions and speaks English perfectly. He took us to very interesting places like a local pottery, fish farm, a carpentry and matt weaving. We could try things out and saw how people live in the countryside.

Tien was an amazing guide informative and funny, we had a great experience. 5 out of 5 recommend, meal at the end of the tour was delicious. Finished the day full and happy

Thanh was an incredibly knowledgeable and generous guide when we visited from Melbourne, Australia! He tailored a tour around our needs, was clear and responsive over WhatsApp to help with planning. Was funny and kind with all of us including our 5 year old kid who really enjoyed the day. The food was excellent, the historical and cultural experiences were fascinating, Thanh was generous answering our many questions. Highly recommended, added a lot to our experience of Hoi An!

This is a great tour. Our guide Lanh was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was a little sceptical that a jeep tour was too ‘Touristy’ but it was an immersive tour and we met some lovely local hard working people. The banana boat trip was a tourist trip but we had fun and took some good pics. We opted for the lunch was was also very good. This tour is highly recommended.

Enjoyed our day with Fairy! She took us to several places we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own. Made rice paper and learned bean sprouts can be grown in sand. We also visited a veggie farm and got to go crab fishing in a coconut boat. Overall a great way to spend half a day!
