Fernando did an excellent job. His understanding of history and his interpretation of the murals was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. It covered key locations, and was not strenuous. Highly recommend.

Fernando is really great at explaining the aspect of the country's history that where Guadalajara played a central role. The tour cover many important landmarks. There was so much to learn about the old town square, the cathedral, the Cabañas museum. You won't be disappointed.

Fernando, our friendly and engaging guide was the BEST! We met right on time at the assigned location and for the next 3.5 hours, Fernando did an amazing job of explaining the sights, murals, statues, buildings and history of Guadalajara's historic center. The pace was just right, and he made sure everyone was comfortable along the way. You can tell that Fernando is passionate about the history of Guadalajara and murals of Jose Clemente Orozco. We were a group of English speakers, and Fernando's English was excellent so there was no language barrier at all. And to finish off what was already a great tour, our final destination was the Mercado Libertad where we had the most amazing, authentic (and affordable!) birria and tacos. Since we were at the Mercado, once the tour concluded it was easy to do some souvenir shopping before heading back to our hotel. We highly recommend this tour, and specifically Fernando as a tour guide!

I would recommend it to every person who plans to visit Guadalajara. Our tour guide, Fernando, could be the best guide I have ever seen. As a person who got his degree in sociology, he is very knowledgeable. And he explains all the knowledge behind the scenes in details with patience, which enables us to know more about Mexican history and culture. It is a great experience to talk with Fernando. This was out second trip to Guadalajara. While we had already explored the city's historic center, we are so happy we decided to take the tour. We learned so much history which gave us a way better appreciation of the area. Fernando is an excellent guide. The tour was well thought out and was well worth the time and money. I suggest you schedule the tour for your first day in Guadalajara so you have the opportunity to revisit any of the areas you are interested in doing a deeper dive into.

Viator came through again. Fernandez was probably the best tour operator I have EVER experienced over the years. His knowledge was deep and he imparted his knowledge of Guadalajaran and Mexican history past and current so well that I was completely engaged and I loved every second of our adventure . Likewise, I was extremely interested in the muralists like Orozco. Again he opened new worlds of the beauty and the details of the awesome murals. Our designated 3 hours turned into 5 hours! Fernandez made everything come to life! He’s the best.

Fernando was an absolutely amazing guide, one of the best I’ve ever had. He had such a strong knowledge of Guadalajara history, art, culture that we left feeling like we had a great sense of what this incredible city is all about. He is truly engaged in his tour, and you can tell he feels passionately about what he’s talking about. From architecture to murals, this tour is wonderful and a MUST if you are visiting Guadalajara. This was a great tour. You got to hit the important landmarks, all close to one another in Centro Guadalajara, and end at the Mercado Libertad, which is the perfect place to end! Fernando was very knowledgeable and covered lots of information.

Also, the food at the end of the tour was amazing and left us in a great spot for shopping. Would definitely recommend doing this tour while in Guadalajara.

Fernando is a highly knowledgeable guide. You couldn't truly appreciate everything in the Historic Centre of GDL without having somebody like him guide you through it. I would definitely recommend taking a few hours to do this tour.

This tour with Fernando was very interesting and enlightening. His depth of knowledge about Guadalajara and Mexico was impressive. We never felt rushed, he answered all our questions. If you are new to Guadalajara and Mexican history, I wholly recommend this tour.

If you want to see some of the important historical sights in Guadalajara along with a hefty dose the extremely slanted, anti Catholic, woke analysis of a 30 something year old self proclaimed “leftist socialist” this is a your tour. Personally, we couldn’t stomach the marxist spin on literally EVERYTHING so left the tour and never made it to the market and lunch. REALLY boring.
