We found Chris, our tour guide, to be very enthusiastic about sharing the history of Victoria. He is a historian and brought history to life. It was fun to learn about all the old buildings and the history behind them. He provided us with a headphone set which we could then clearly hear what he was telling us. Very helpful! The guide, with his helping teenage daughter, did a great job to talk facts and funny and intriguing stories about the City. Very knowledgeable and experienced and answered all the questions. The use of the devices made the experience enjoyable. Although the tour went longer than planned, I wished I couod hear more of what he new about Victoria. 100% recommended 👌

Really enjoyed our tour, Chris’s knowledge of the history of Victoria is 1st rate and his passion for it really comes out through his commentary. Ear pieces made listening easy and the walk was pretty much flat and easy for everyone.

Chris is passionate about Victoria and it’s history and this shows through his commentary. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1.5 hours with him and came away with a whole new perspective about this place compared to just wandering around looking. Their use of receiver headphones makes sure you don’t miss a fact and you will do yourself an injustice if you don’t book a tour with this father/son combination.

Christia was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who took us around the waterfront, over Government street towards Bastion Square, then Market Square and China town. Besides lots of good history — clearly one of her favorite subjects — we got lots of tips along the way for restaurants and museums and islands to visit. The individual single around-the-ear headphone for each person made it easy to hear her, as our group was around 12 people. There was no rushing. Would definitely recommend this tour. And the meeting point was easy, too - right outside the harbor tourist office.

We couldn’t have found a better walking tour! Our host Chris was very informative and fascinating to listen to! We covered a lot of ground in a 90 minute walk and ended up going overtime because our host was so enthusiastic!
