Watching part of the Catholic mass. I enjoyed hearing about the history of how the Jesuits spread Catholicism throughout the west coast through the Missions.

I can’t say enough good about my walking historic tour of Los Cabo’s yesterday with Cristian. What a wonderful experience! He is 7th generation local native, it doesn’t get more real than this! What I learned you can’t get from a book. From architecture, archeology, legends, traditions, culture, languages, food, the lists go on and on. So much more to learn about this fascinating little town, the “behind the curtain” as he calls it. This is only one segment of three parts! I’m in! Sign me up! Thank you Cristian, I hope to help you spread the word about this gem of a town and its precious resources.

What a great way to kickoff our vacation in San Jose del Cabo! This was the first time my husband and I visited San Jose del Cabo and the first time we’ve had a walking tour experience abroad! We didn't know much about the area before we booked the trip; we just heard how beautiful it was. We learned so much from our guide, Kristian, that exceeded our expectations. He gave us so much insight and history about the region and city, as well as what to do. This is a must do and if possible, do on the first day of your trip! Job well done for this tour!

Kristian was a great guide. He is very knowledgeable about all things Los Cabos. The tour was very informative. No dull moments. Would highly recommend to anybody visiting San Jose Del Cabo.

Our guide Chris was so knowledgeable and patient with answering our many questions. It was obvious that he loves the city where he was born and raised. His English is excellent since he worked for Hewlett-Packard in the US as an engineer.

This was our very first visit to San José del Cabo, and because we had only four days to enjoy and explore there, we were a bit chagrined that we had waited until our last evening to take Kristian’s incredible Historical and Cultural Walking Tour. Kristian, a native but adventurous “choyero” (a direct descendant of the original people that inhabit the region) cautioned us beforehand that the tour would be fast-paced, but we were enthralled by his concise and fascinating discourse, which was both informative and insightful as he led us on our excursion to see and learn about the many colorful, historical sites of San José del Cabo. Perhaps for us, however, one the most inspiring facets of this wonderful tour was to witness Kristian’s compassionate devotion to his birthplace city as well as his desire to educate others of his deep concern for the future of San José del Cabo and its generations to come (he’s also a dad to a toddler!); in fact, we learned that through this venture as well as others that he leads (surf school for underprivileged kids, etc.) he truly is dedicated to seeing this humanitarian endeavor succeed. That really topped off our amazing tour, and we’re looking happily forward to exploring San José del Cabo further on our next visit!

A must do for both 'locals' and visitors to Los Cabos. As an eighth generation resident our host was informative, knowledgeable and pationate about his home, sharing an interesting perspective on the past as well as the present history of San Jose. A beautiful way to learn and explore.

I loved this historical walking tour! It exceeded my expectations in providing an overview of the architecture, history, geography, and political history of the community of Los Cabos. Additionally, the support it offers to awaken local identity through education is a cause worth supporting. I look forward to Part 2.

The stores about how old things were and how devastating the hurricanes can be in the city and surrounding areas. Glad we book the tour or we would have missed seeing a very special city on our Cabo trip

Great comprehensive tour given by a local. The tour covered a lot in the hour. I also appreciated the cause behind this particular tour and their giving back to their community.

The best experience in San Jose del Cabo for locals and tourists to learn about the history of Los Cabos - the natives, the landscape, the animals, architecture, culture, and more. Hiiighly recommended. *This was my second CaboCityTour and I can't wait to go again. The tour has evolved over the years and includes a 1.5 hour Part A and Part B. It was such a beautiful night walking around the Gallery District with friends and family.

This walking tour was the best part of our trip to Cabo. Kristian is a very engaging tour guide. He explained the history of Cabo, and how these tours are aimed towards helping local communities. It made us realize that Cabo is more than just beaches. This context was useful to enjoy the city even more. Kristian even managed to keep my 7 year old engaged. I wish we had done this tour at the start of our trip. We would have enjoyed the city differently.

We enjoyed Kristian’s authenticity and knowledge of so many aspects of the city’s culture, history and economy. Highly recommend!
