Mary Sol was fantastic! Very friendly, informative and really kind. Our two person tour was fun even though our rental car ended up blocked in on one of the city center streets. We would never have made it out if Mary had not stayed behind to assist us. She went above and beyond even after such a great tour. The treats for awesome too!!

What a great and unique experience for downtown Cork Ireland. Not only did we get to eat way too many donuts, but we also got to learn a ton about the city and Irish history ! Marysol, our guide, couldn't have been nicer! A transplant from Venezuela, living in Ireland for 12 years, she couldn't be more knowledgeable of Irish history, and history of the town of Cork, and all the buildings that we got to see. Found it especially interesting, learning more about the Irish revolution and in much more recent times, the Fighting of the IRA and the British government . Recommend that you arrive hungry, as we got to stop at four different donut shops, always with wonderful offerings. First donut shop was Dolce bun, a vegan bakery / coffee shop that I am pretty sure represented traditional Irish creations. Next was Cameron's, where we had wonderful French croissants, with the owners being from France. Donut shop number 3 was called offbeat, where we picked up a Homer Simpson donut, and a pistachio donut. I'd characterize these tastes as somewhat more of a conventional American style donut. Our final stop was a Brazilian bakery, where we got a few different mini churros that were filled with very good flavors. Sprinkled throughout the tour (pun somewhat intended) were several stops at buildings and monuments and various streets, where Marysol educated us on all things of interest! We came for donuts, we left with donut full tummies, and brains cram packed with interesting new information about cork and Ireland. Would strongly recommend the tour!

We took a tour with Marysol--she was amazing! We learned so much history and fun facts about Cork; it was the most fun we had in the city, bar none. And delicious doughnuts and churros to boot! What an engaging and informative experience. Loved it!

We had a very personal tour with Chloe- thank you for continuing the tour with just one couple! It was an unexpected historical walking tour that introduced us to all that is Cork. And oh, the donuts! Actually — crème filled buns, croissants, traditional donuts and churros. As recommended, we shared and took many to-go. The local contact in Cork contacted us well before the trip to answer any questions and make sure we could comfortably get from the Cobh cruise terminal into town and to our tour meeting site. Easy-peasy and a well spent (well-fed) afternoon.

Mary Sol was very knowledgeable and fun. She took us to historic sites and also some fantastic donut shops! She talked about the history of Cork and some more recent things like Cillian Murphy (who is from Cork) winning the Oscar.

The tour was fun and informative, and the donuts were delicious. Chloe did a great job of sharing the history of Cork and keeping our family engaged. We had a wide range of ages from teenagers to grandparents and all had a great time. I would highly recommend this tour!

This was our second Underground Donut Tour (one in NYC, this one in Cork IE) and it was great! The best part was the history tour that went along with the donuts. We were with friends later in the vacation who hadn't gone on the donut tour and when we walked around Cork pointing things out to them, it became a joke "did you learn that TOO on the donut tour?" By the end they had decided they would do a donut tour next time they travel somewhere new. The pastries were excellent, not all were donuts but were of very high quality and we wished we had time to revisit some of them later in our trip. We'll definitely do an Underground Donut tour again. Although pricey, it is worth it in quantity of donuts and the history tour two-fer.

Being the sole participant, I was privileged to have a private tour. But that was not the only thing I liked about my experience. I also learned a lot about Cork and Ireland (for example what the colours of the Irish flag stand for) and had a really nice time with Paddy, a jolly good fellow and funny guide, and Mary, a nice girl who joined us to see if showing people around is something for her. O yeah, and I got to taste many delicacies, which were very yummy! (I really hope my dentist doesn't read this...)

Pat was an amazing tour guide! The donut shops were diverse and really good. If this was just a donut tour it would have been great but it has an added bonus of being a history lesson on the city of cork as well! Definitely worth the time.

The views were absolutely amazing, and the food was extremely delicious. To top it all off, the tour guide paddy was phenomenal and super friendly. It felt like I was at home. Personally, I am a big history and architecture fan so having to take in all the views with a guide that not only entertains you but also is really interested in getting to know you who you really are. It’s my first time in Cork and my birthday, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you Paddy for an amazing time, cork was truly a magical experience!
