We had the most AMAZING tour so far. Moei our guide was a local who spoke great English. Her knowledge, understanding and emotional information made it very very special. What a wonderful and inspiring place Hiroshima is. Thankyou.

We really enjoyed our cycling tour, led by Shin. We started our ride visiting Mitaki-dera Temple - I will always remember the serenity and beauty of the property. Then we cycled more in Hiroshima proper, where Shin shared his family's experience with the A-bomb, and showed us Peace Park and the A-bomb dome. A highlight of the morning was hearing his stories passed along from his grandparents. We also stopped to enjoy a delicious lunch of okonomiyaki, a local favorite. Overall, it was a perfect morning in Hiroshima.

Excellent way of seeing the city. Our guide Bella was very informative and very personable which made the whole experience memorable. This was better than some of the organised tours offered by the cruise ship.

Incredible bike tour!!! Our tour guide, Bella, was so kind and thoughtful. She knew so much about the history of the atomic bomb and Japan and answered our endless questions with immense patience. I cannot recommend this bike tour enough. There is simply no better way to learn about the history than from local. Thank you- Bella!

My family of 4 were treated to a personal tour by Shin, who has the best British-Japanese accent you will ever hear and a deep knowledge of the bomb event, told from his own family's perspective. Be ready to laugh, shed a tear or two and be thoroughly entertained for over 2 hours. Just brilliant!

Our tour guide, Moe is a granddaughter of some of the A-bomb survivors. Their testimonies of that day spoken through the story telling of Moe is absolutely heart wrenching to hear both the pain and enlightenment of forgiveness in her voice and passion to share their narratives. Highly recommend 10/10.

A lovely guide however she was not someone who had family experience in Hiroshima. Cycling is a good way to travel around.

Shin was an amazing tour guide! He was as informative, passionate and loved teaching us the history of Hiroshima, infusing his stories from his mom and grandparents’ personal life experiences, as survivors of the Hiroshima atomic bombing. His stories impacted me and my family. Thank you for sharing your stories and guiding us, in your beautiful city. “ Hope is being able to see that there is life after all the darkness” 🙏🏼🕊️🌸

Bella and Mimi were wonderful guides. We learned about the effects of the bombing from the locals’ perspective, as well as the enduring hope to rebuild for a better future. The length of the tour is perfect (2 hours) to see various significant sites in Hiroshima.

We had a really excellent tour with our guide Moe. The tour took us to all the key historical sites and Moe made it especially interesting by adding in vivid witness accounts and unusual pieces of information. It was very moving to hear her describe her grandparents experiences.

Our host Shin was amazing, he really brought the tour to life with amazing knowledge and his own personal experience. While the tour focuses on very serious events he still made it fun. For the tour we used the provided electric assisted bikes which made the biking effortless and allowed us to see a lot of the city that we wouldn’t have known about without Shins guidance. We really enjoyed the tour!!

Shin’s enthusiasm was infectious, and he shared some moving stories. Everyone was also very helpful with my bike. I’m 64 and not a cyclist but the riding was manageable. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot.

A very informative and interesting tour with my guide Moe. Her family went through what happened and she gave a very personal view how the people of Hiroshima coped right after the bomb dropped and how the city recovered many years after. A must for anyone who visits the city.

Exceptional tour with Shin our guide. He personalized it with great in depth knowledge, shared memories of his family who survived the A-Bomb and threw in some good humour too. He took us to many points of interest and it was a very easy safe e-bike ride that lasted just over 2 hours. A wonderful experience that we all enjoyed including. Would highly recommend !!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Our guide, Moe, was so passionate about her city it shone through in every word she spoke. From the tragedy of the A-bomb to the rebuilding and growth of a vibrant city it was a fabulous journey - and cruising around on electric bikes made it very easy too! We learned so much about the impact of the war, not in dry technical terms but in the stories of real people. Highly recommended!

Very moving and informative tour by a wonderful guide - Shin. Shin shared his family’s experience of the bombing and gave us a great insight into what the people of Hiroshima experienced during and after the bombing. It brought me to tears at times. Our daughter aged 12 loved it and Shin did the most amazing job of including all of us as well as providing some humour along the way. Shin’s English is exceptional and he provided a clear explanation for the duration of the tour. The electric bikes were great and provided an easy and safe way to see the sites. The 2 hours is a perfect amount of time. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Thankyou so much Shin. 🙏

Shin was a good guide and it was super personal. He mixed humour in with all the emotion. Shin gave his personal experience as he is the grandchild of survivors. Using the bikes was a great way to get to some of the other sites in town.
