Will was great! It ended up being a small tour with only myself and my boyfriend. He was very knowledgeable and we had an awesome time.

My kids (13 and 16) and myself had a wonderful experience. It was our first paddle board experience and our guide Will was great with nerves and direction. He was knowledgeable about the area and invested in giving us a positive tour. We got to see dolphins and we’re surrounded by a pod. Amazing!

My two daughters, their friend, and I went paddle boarding in June and enjoyed it so much! Our guide was Rachael and she was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful and patient with us!! We learned so much about Hilton Head from talking with her! Five stars!✨✨✨✨✨

Our guide was really nice. Bad wind and tide made it very hard to stand up and paddle. We got to a creek very shallow, lots of pluff mud and oyster beds. Board wear old and both kids (14&12) ended up getting rash from the plastic/fiberglass chipping off.

Our guide Joseph was excellent! No one fell in the water! Great time had by all! Even had a few dolphins following us along the trip.

It was definitely an experience for me from start to finish being slightly overweight by about 100lb (gotta little wet) but I expected that.. Takes good balance & we really enjoyed our time & our guide was completely awesome & very knowledgeable of the waters on the island.. Decently priced activity for what it was, the 13yr old absolutely enjoyed the experience & the memories will last forever!

This tour was great! The water was nice and calm, and our guide was very helpful. I had never been paddleboarding before, but it was so easy to learn and we even saw dolphins!

Had a blast. We laughed so much. Our guide Hake yes Jake with a H was great. 1st time trying stand up paddling. He had a lot of patience With my wife and I. Would do it again there. At beginning we had a visitor in water,a manatee hanging out by dock. It was so cool.

Cray, our guide was very knowledgeable and took good care of us. He took us on a little training float before heading out to more open water which was perfect for our level of expertise. We can still count on one hand how often we’ve paddle boarded. Good trip!

Been considering purchasing a paddle board, and called Soul SUP to book a tour as refresher course/advice. Ken referred me to Island Head because his company was focusing primarily on their rentals and yoga studio for the season. I called Island Head to request a least busy time, and happily my first choice of Sunday 10 a.m. was available. It was an easy, fun experience. After a brief bit of instruction we paddled out away from Hilton Head Harbor toward the bridge. Water was calm with occasional wake from passing boats for a little challenge. Then we headed down a sort of canal where it was very calm, but luckily our guide spotted an alligator making a rare appearance in the salt water and had us turn around. Gators typically stay in fresh water; it's thought that they may take a salt dip when ill or to sooth skin injuries. The paddle boards are very safe and stable. Even if you lose your balance and fall off you're in calm water so it's not difficult to scramble back up onto your board (to which you are attached by a leash around your ankle, for extra safety). Its a short, fun, affordable activity for kids and adults who are reasonably fit (I am 60's female). The website tells you what to bring. They have deck boxes on the dock for any items you choose not to take out on the board with you, such as shoes. Dont forget cash to tip your guide!
