He was attentive if we needed to stop, and kept our tour on track. The Hill of Crosses was an incredible and unique experience, and well worth the trip. I would definitely recommend this trip!

Great experience on a private tour with Janis. Was flexible with our early 7am start to catch the sunset, a lot of energy despite the early hour, gave great insight into both countries and was an efficient driver . We enjoyed covering culture, history and many other topics. Tour company was professional and easy to work with. They contacted me about last minute availability which I really appreciated !

Our driver provided historical information about Riga and Latvia during the drive to the Hill of Crosses. He also pointed out specific crosses and what they signified. We found the Hill of Crosses moving and are glad we chose to travel there. I would recommend this driver to other tourists.

Exceptional guide and great experience. The Hill of Crosses was an interesting destination and a nice 5 hours spent getting a view of the Latvian countryside as well as a first taste of Lithuania (a definite plus to visit another country with such ease). My guide checked in with me in advance of my trip to let me know that one can bring your own cross to add to the hill - I was grateful to have this knowledge in advance! Every detail was well taken care of, and my comfort and interests were prioritized. I would highly recommend this guide and company!

Krista was an amazing guide. She explained so much about Riga as we headed to The Hill of Crosses, giving us information we didn't know about. The transport was comfortable with complimentary water for everyone. Our group was just 5 people. We got enough time at The Hill of Crosses, which is a very unique and special place. Very spiritual for alot of people. We also walked to the small monastery there. I would highly recommend Krista for this and all her tours which I am sure are also fantastic. Thank you 😊 💓

We had an incredibly amazing trip to The Hill of Crosses! We had this incredible guide, Krista, who was so sweet, caring, attentive funny and informative! And we had so much fun in the car on the way to and from the destination, which only made the experience even better! We could not have asked for a better guide/trip! We highly recommend this trip, it is worth every single penny! We were left with an amazing energy after that trip :)

Krista is the best guide you will EVER have! She is amazing, super knowledgeable, and sincerely wants her guests to have a perfect day with her. Booking this tour, you will get so much more than the Hill of Crosses, as Krista will take you on spontaneous adventures if you are up for it. Apart from Hill of Crosses, we visited 3 castles, a city of rabbits, and even had an authentic Latvian lunch! This was a fabulous experience 100/10!!! The only day trip you need from Riga!

Amazing trip with the best tour guide:) It has been a great day spent together. Krista was kind and attentive and we felt like we were in good hands from the start. I have been traveling with my mom who has arthritis and has trouble walking fast. We enjoyed the drive, the history, the scenic landscape and lovely conversations. We even had a classic Lithuanian lunch on our way back home.

Beautiful site. Outstanding tour operatir. Krista was excellent in discussing the history of the country while we were traveling and informed us about the background of the site. Nice narration and superb service. Krista gave us as much time as needed.and kept us posted as to where we would meet and kept in constant contact prior to the tour.

The tour guide was very prompt and knowledgeable. We had a very comfortable and informative journey into Lithuania to the hill of crosses. The guide explained all of our questions whether historical or geographical extremely well. The hill of crosses was unique and the tour guide allowed us to enjoy the site how we wanted to see and remember it. I would recommend this trip to anyone and not just for religion the history of the hill speaks for itself

This was a great way to get out of the city for a day. We got to explore the countryside and had a lot of time to visit the Hill of Crosses which was an interesting place. Our guide Erlens was really knowledgable and we learned a lot about both Latvia and Lithuania during the trip.

Loved going to two countries in one day. The hill of the crosses is amazing. Whether you are religious or not, it has a beautiful feel about the place and restores your faith in humanity. The communication in coordinating this trip was FANTASTIC! Krista was on top of this despite many changes we had! She was patient and never once gave us issues. We will definitely do business again with them for our future Latvian tour needs!

Guide Armand's wealth of Latvian history, as well as his personal story, made for a very interesting tour. The pictures of the hill really don't begin to give a sense of the complexities amongst all of the crosses left behind for various reasons. Highly recommended.

The hill of crosses was an interesting tour. I was glad I decided to take this tour eventhough it was a last minute plan. Krista was so kind & friendly. She even gave us latvian chocolates which the kids enjoyed. I appreciate the kindness and the latvian food info you gave to me. Highly recommended!
