One of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. There was freshly fallen snow for our hike so we were trekking and marking our own path. Our guide made sure we were well equipped, took breaks when needed, but also pushed us to keep moving so we would stay warm. Booked this hike on a whim and 10/10 recommend. Amazing experience.

Our guide Abel was great, what a nice guy! The scenery and nature is beautiful. But the information that was given upfront was not accurate (meeting time start (we waited for an hour), lunch in/excluded, entrance fee in/excluded, end time tour). So the communication and information can be improved. Besides that we had a great day, thank you David and Abel!

Would not recommend this company - Was told to be here at 8am. Guide never turned up. At 845 I asked what was going on. Turns out the tour was never running but he was trying to move me onto another tour that failed. He then refused to give me my money back but said he’d help me find another tour. Why would anyone trust a company that lies so blatantly to people and wastes a day of their holiday because he lies.

One of the highlights of my trip. I booked it last minute and was nervous but it was so well planned out. The guide Paty was amazing and very informative. The hike to the charquini lagoon was a bit tough but not too long - definitely recommend proper shoes, thick socks and gloves! You can rent hiking boots on Calle illampu or Sagarnaga. If you’re considering booking - do it! Best impulsive decision I made while in La Paz!

Moderate hike but spoilt by the horrible weather - cold, sleet and drizzle. We were given walking poles as aids which were useful. Because of the altitude and weather I didn’t go right to the top - I got slight breathless but was fine. The trip was well organised but it is a very bumpy one hour ride along a track to get to where the walk starts.

Our tour guide Patty was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great hike, you definitely should be in good shape to do this because the altitude doesn’t make going uphill easy.
