Bovilla lake is very much worth a go, a very beautiful place. The tour group was cool, a mixture of nationalities, and the guide Valter was a fun guy with lots of knowledge. Thanks!

The lake and the view was gorgeous! Comfortable transportation and pick up included. The staff were very helpful and were able to make sure we made it to the airport on time afterwards.

Ledjo was a great guide. He was encouraging to all of the group members. The hike was a little challenging but certainly doable. The scenery was beyond breathtaking. I highly recommend this excursion.

The location and the view are breathtaking. A must-do if you are in Tirana! Edi did a perfect job as our tour guide! We would definitely recommend it to anyone!

The mountain and the views of the lake are stunning. I would recommend to go on that basis alone. The tour itself I did have some feedback. Communication wasn’t great. I didn’t appreciate getting the pickup information at 11pm the night before after messaging both the company and trip advisor. The driver/guide on the day was half an hour late to pick us up but didn’t let us know until we called him 20mins after waiting. I would describe it more as a drive to the mountain and less as a tour. The guide Antonio was nice but not very informative and really only shared things if we asked. The hike itself is half an hour and whilst it is a challenge and I wouldn’t advise for less able people - it was quite short and we would’ve like to have walked it from the base of the mountain and not just the top bit. On top of that as you’re going with a group it felt like we couldn’t stop to appreciate the view along the way as we were going quite fast. We enjoyed the option to take a dip but didn’t know we could so hadn’t brought swim options- so just bear that in mind. If you do want to take a dip in the lake bring a towel and change of clothes! All this being said - as there’s no public transport or coaches that go there and the roads to get there are tricky and not well sign posted, this is probably one of the best ways to experience Mount Gamti - so still go as the view alone is worth it.

Our guide Bleard was so kind and knowledgeable! It was an easy hike with beautiful views of the mountain followed by a stop at a local café. Would highly recommend!

I appreciate the Tour company for accommodating, my last-minute reservation, and, conveniently picking me up from my hotel! My guide Rei promptly picked me up at the agreed-upon time. On our ride to the mountain, he gave me some interesting facts about the country. Rei did a fantastic job accompanying me at the mountain, and taking tons of amazing pictures to help me remember the experience. I appreciate his excellent service, and would highly recommend!

We had a great time and saw lots of interesting sights. Our guide Rei and driver Beni were fantastic - very knowledgable, friendly and attentive. We stopped at a waterfall before continuing to Lake Bovilla and hiking up Mount Gamti. The hike was challenging but exciting and well worth the effort, as the views from the mountain top over the lake were incredible. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Albania!

Loved the trip, it was a lot of fun. The landscapes were gorgeous, just as advertised. Our tour guide was Valter, he was very informative and pleasant. Not only was he very informative, but he was also fun to hang out with. He made sure we were all comfortable and safe and took amazing pictures of us. 100% Recommended!

Great trip. Rei and the driver were great throughout and good fun. The hike isn’t too bad but the stairs and rocks towards the end made it a little tough for some of the group but, well worth it for the views. Nice to get out the city.

Valter our guide was a really nice guy and very knowledgeable about albanian history. Great group and mix of people on the tour we had a beer at the bar overlooking the lake before leaving. Thanks again

It was an excellent experience, our quide Deo was very helpful and professional photographer. He answered all necessary questions. I enjoyed it so much and definitely I would like to come back during warmer months.

Genuinely the best trip I've ever done - super scary, but Edi is amazing and a real gent. Do it if you have the chance, it's amazing value.

Trip was amazing, it was the highlight of my exploration of Tirana. Edi was a good laugh and so polite throughout, a real credit to the company. I'm so glad I took this trip and I'm looking to return with friends so they can experience the views and hike as a whole.

The trip exceeded my expectations. Traveled with my wife and were picked up from our hotel on time. The journey from the city took about 45 minutes. First stop was the canyon then onto the mountain which took about half an hour to ascend to the viewing platform over the lake. Also climbed the rock face. Stunning views. Big shout out to our guide Deo who was friendly and helpful and sorted out quick service with drinks at the restaurant. I highly recommend this tour and scrambling over the rocks was great fun. This tour isn’t suitable for folk with mobility problems, however

There was a mixup with the cars so we ended getting a private tour for me and my partner. The tour guide was funny, well spoken and knew his country well. He also gave us time and space to hangout and take photos at the locations where we stopped. The views were incredible and trip is definitely worth taking!

Tour guide Deo was great the whole day! Kept checking in with everyone on the bus, played music for us and explained the days schedule. Walk is fairly easy for someone with general level of fitness. The stairs are when it is more intense, esp if you have a fear of heights (as they are grated steps). At the top Deo was encouraging us to explore and take photos, also showing us how to get up to other view points safely. He shared facts about the reservoir and mountain areas which was interesting. The restaurant isn’t too expensive and has very nice views - you can’t eat outside though so might want to take food with you if the weather is nice. The drive up to the mountains is a lot of off-road, so the mini bus goes slow. There is not other way up unless you want to hire a car and drive in Albania 🥴😂 Only thing I would change is to have more hiking, as it wasn’t as difficult as the description made out it would be. Great day out though! Glad I done it!

Great experience! A little bit difficult, a little bit scary, but the views are amazing and the driver and guide were great. Very much enjoyed lunch at the restaurant, too. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic trip! Deo is a great guide and made the day perfect. He was running 5 minutes late because of Tirana traffic and text me to let me know which was kind of him. During the drive to the Gamti mountain he was very chatty and interested to talk about everything which I liked, nobody wants a quiet guide! He also played some great Albanian music. The hike itself was AMAZING! Deo made sure we went at a pace that was not too fast and is always asking if we would like photos with the great view. He was always making sure we were okay and ensured we were safe when climbing on rocks etc. The whole day was excellent and Deo is a credit to the company.

The view from the top of the cliff was fantastic. The guide was funny and so friendly, the safety of the clients was guaranteed.
