Garen was our guide this morning and she was fabulous. She has a wealth of information regarding the history of Taiwan. It was exactly what we needed on our first day in Taipei.

Garen has high energy, very knowledgeable, quite caring (she made sure both of my knee wounds were treated at mrt station after a bad fall on our way to meet her), fun, very hospitable, great photographer, and became our go-to friend on all our Taiwan questions & needs. She accurately provided rich history, interesting culture, FOOD!!!, city gems, long list of recommended places our family were interested at - tea houses /shops, pottery, seafood, time-consuming & challenging transportation from Taipei to secluded Onsen Papawaqa, & the list goes on & on. We sure enjoyed her a lot!! We very much appreciate her service & guiding us all the way through, that she even went way beyond her time with us esp arranging our trip to Miaoli. We have nothing but gratitude & love for her. She played a huge part on this memorable Taiwan fam trip that will stay with us forever. Nobody could’ve done better than Garen. Thank you, thank you, thank you ♥️🫶🏽

Garen was an excellent guide. My wife and I had a wonderful time, learning some history and culture of Taiwan while we visited some of the must-see : Chiang Kia Shek Memorial Hall, LongShan Temple and the Bopiliao. Thanks again Garen.

Me, my wife and our 6 year-old had a very fun layover in Taipei after a grueling 14+ hr flight from Los Angeles. We are so happy we booked this trip to make the most out of our 10 hour layover at TPE. Jessica picked us from the airport early in the morning, drove us to the center of Taipei to see some of the sights, explained a lot of interesting landmarks and historical facts along the way and took great pictures of our family. For lunch, she took us to a bustling small eats place near the the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial, and from there to Sogo for some quick shopping for Hello Kitty paraphernalia for our daughter. Then, she bought us boba tea, drove us around some more and finally back to the airport to catch our next flight. The price was very reasonable considering she spent like 6 hours driving us around and walking us to various places. Jessica is passionate and very knowledgeable about Taiwan's history and the tour is highly recommended for history nerds like me. She is also a very safe driver in her Tesla X. We can't wait to go back to Taiwan and spend more time! See you next time! Pani-Jing-Lumi

Jessica was an incredible tour guide, we had a very short time in Taipei (only 4 hours in the city) and Jessica managed to squeeze in key destinations, amazing sights, and incredible off the beaten path locations. I couldn't recommend her more for a tour, she made it both informative and incredibly fun and helped us find everything we were looking for in Taipei!

Agnes was a wonderful guide, who's really enthusiastic about making sure her guests have the best experience possible. She took us to the Scooter Waterfall, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and through a variety of locations relating to Taiwanese history and culture, as well as a stop for a Taiwanese snack and boba tea. She had lots of insight into Taiwanese history, culture and the current-day, which we found very interesting. She also had great recommendations for what else we could check out while in Taipei. Really appreciate the time she spent with us! : )

Jones has a deep knowledge of the Taiwan's history and politics which truly enriched our experience. He expertly navigated us through key cultural landmarks, including the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial and Museum, and the Presidential Office Building, providing insightful narratives that went beyond the usual tourist information. Jones also treated us to some delicious local bubble tea, adding a delightful touch to our journey. His passion for Taiwan's culture and history was both educational and engaging, making it a memorable tour. For anyone looking to kick start their Taiwanese experience with a deeper cultural and historical perspective, I highly recommend Jones as the go-to guide!

So happy I booked the tour with Daphne! She took me to places I would have never found and was extremely knowledgeable about the city’s history. We walked, taxied, and metro’d around Taipei and saw many different sides to the culture. I highly recommend this tour if you have a short time and especially if you’re traveling solo!

I fully enjoyed my tour with Daphne T. She showed me some major sites of the city of Taipei and tailor-made for me a request to visit a Tea shop and Temples/Shrines that were nearby.

Our introduction to the wonderful city of Taipei by our guide Daphne was fabulous! Shortly after the reservation was confirmed she contacted us and sent us the link for our meeting location. On the day of our tour, she guided us through the cultural history surrounding Liberty Square, then walked us through the nuances of the subway system instilling enough confidence we can continue to explore the city using the subway rail. The stroll through Ximen area location of the East Gate, textiles, Chinese alchemists, food markets, THE purveyors of coffee beans grown and sold in Taiwan (not extensively marketed as it is a scarce commodity, with a stop for Mango Shaved Ice ( perfect balance of fresh mangos and iced shaved milk - not unnaturally sweet, cool, and smooth on the palate along with a sampling of brown sugar encrusted ginger (yum if you are a tea lover). Our purposeful wandering took us to Pier 5 - great place to rent a bike and enjoy the river trails or hang out at one of the cocktail or beer garden booths. Daphne also interpreted the religious customs for temples visited to include the Longshan Temple and the herbalists in the temple’s vicinity. We sampled a cooling herbal tea which helped you feel better - was a very hot and humid day. Daphne’s presentation of the visited parts of the city was so engaging-we never noticed the heat and humidity until asked about it-it was that easy to remain engaged in our tour. Recommend with 5 stars!!

Daphne was a great guide and her English is awesome! We visited the top sites in Taipei including Chang Kai Shek Memorial Square, Doug’s street, and the Longshan Temple. Daphne answered all our questions about the history of Taipei and Taiwanese culture and even helped us find speciality tea for our family. We would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn about Taiwan and Taipei from a local!

Daphne was a great guide, who was so friendly and very proud to share her country with us! She was knowledgeable and engaging, especially her explanation of Taoism/Buddhism and the Longshan temple. The areas Daphne showed us were cool and something we wouldn’t have found on our own like the Pier 5. Thanks so much!

We started our 4 day stay in Taipei with Agnes on a 'Highlights and Hidden Gems' tour. Not only was her English excellent, she also connected with us right from the start and provided some really useful background history and cultural insights alongside a mix of local highlights and insights. Tasters of Taiwanese herbal drinks, fried chicken and, of course, bubble tea kept us going and our 11 year old son engaged throughout. Great experience - recommend!
