Not impressed, guide did not turn up and did not contact to advise it was cancelled. We waited at the meeting place, noone turned up. Other guide phoned for us to be told refund was being made.

This was definitely the main highlight of my week in Istanbul. Oguz Arkan brought the history of the city alive and really set the scene as well as giving me a good foundation for exploring other parts of Istanbul. He is clearly very knowledgeable and well-read, his communication skills are excellent and he is very good at tailoring his tours to his audience. He gave us a lot of local tips on where to go and the best places to eat - don't miss the iskender kebab house! He was kind, friendly, very flexible and sensitive to the needs of our small group, mixing serious scholarship with many amusing stories. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Oz and highly recommend him to anyone wishing to learn more about this fascinating city. I can't wait to go back.

Oz is one of the best tout guides I've ever met in my life. His in depth knowledge, enthusiasm and authenticity brings life to the place you're visiting, he is the type of people who would sit down with you tells you the history while you're there seeing these stories happening in your mind. He takes the time to answer any questions you have. Please don't miss a tea time with him if the opportunity presents itself. The places he takes you to are gorgeous. He is passionate about history and I really hope he will pursue his goal, most of the history of Turkey is still uncovered, I think it takes people like him to seriously dig deeper to bring it to life. Oguz ıs one of the best guides I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Humorous, incredibly knowledgeable and with magnıficent storytellıng and organiızational skills. He gave Sylvıa, Hans and myself a day of Suleimanye Mosque. Cistern, Bazaar. Spice Market, Golden Horn ferry., tram orientation. special bakeries and a 350-year-old cafe. More unforgettable sites off the usual pathways. extraordinary pacing without rushing, incredibly thoughtful. Now am at ease moving around the city. Recommended for all walkers.

I loved this tour and Oguz was a great guide. He showed us all of the major sites and while I usually find that stuff kinda boring, he had a good sense of humor, so I enjoyed it. The kebob place that he took us to was a 10/10. Highly recommend.

The tour guide was very attentive and made sure we all had a good experience. We have been through the most amazing parts of the historical peninsula and spend a very good amount of time in each one. Yerebatan and Hagia Sofia was mos amazing. And i am still under the spell of the Egyptian Market.
