the entire experience was delightful - you MUST do this tour. the guide Alex was wonderful, i learned so many things, and had some fantastic food. DO this tour!!

The walking food tour was outstanding. It is a combination of history and gastronomic experience. Our guide Dave was remarkable in connecting history with the delicious food that we tasted. Definitely worth every penny.

We enjoyed ourselves walking around Greenwich Village. Claire was awesome! She was very informative and passionate. We learned a lot about the area and had lots of yummy food. Would definitely use this tour company again.

Highly recommend this tour, and specifically this company. Their customer service is exceptional. Dave was a wonderful guide. He was personable, knowledgeable and shared with us parts of the city that we would not have been able to discover on our own. He had a vast array of knowledge about the area - history, architecture, food, music and more. Our teenagers very much enjoyed the tour also.

We had a great tour with Claire! We very much enjoyed learning the history of the high line and Greenwich Village. Claire made the day fun, and I loved that she had a variety of information to share, making it enjoyable for myself, husband, and teenage daughter. Food selected was unique, not things we would have known about on our own. He was able to answer our questions and not just tell us what was on the script.

This was a great tour. The food stops were interesting and unique. But Dave T is the star of the tour- wealth of information about history of the area and unique things going on today.

We went on the High Line tour with Claire and we loved it! She told us about the history of the area which, as a movie buff, I really enjoyed. Think “Gangs of New York” and “The Gilded Age”. We also did the Greenwich Village food tour. New York is known for it’s pizza and we tried 3 during our stay. Bleeker Street Pizza was by far the best. I will book another tour next time I visit. Small groups with local guides showing us hidden gems. What could be more perfect? Photos of my friend w Claire (the redhead) and me on the High Line. Great time.

Spectacular tour! Our tour guide Claire was so knowledgeable of the history of the city and was a fantastic story teller keeping us all engaged through out. Her food choices were phenomenal! I would recommend this booking for anyone looking to learn about the city while enjoying samplings of the best locally owned spots!

What a great tour. David was informative and entertaining as we walked the Highline and were just in awe of the great little restaurants we visited in Greenwich Village. This is a well done, small group tour. Don't hesitate!

Really enjoyed the day and our guide Claire B along with her fellow guide Nicky were very knowledgeable and provided us with a very comprehensive tour. The food stops included in the tour were an added bonus and a chance to get out of the cold breeze. We were a small party and it was a pleasure to meet the other members on the tour, three sisters from Mississippi, who were great company.The overall pace was steady and not too demanding. Well worth doing in our opinion.

We can highly recommend the Greenwich Village Food Tour with Alex. The food selection was great - we loved everything we tried! And it was just the right amount - you certainly got plenty to eat but not so stuffed that we didn't want dinner later. A great overview of a beautiful neighborhood!

This was an awesome tour. The food was very good. Claire was a wonderful tour guide. Interesting history but, more than that, tidbits of information about NY today. I enjoyed it and Claire very much. I would recommend it to everyone without hesitation.

This is a big shout out to Manhattan Walking Tour and specifically our guide Jonathan H. My wife and I did this tour with Jonathan along with two other people on the last full day of our visit and recommend to anyone considering this tour to do it early in your visit. There is a lot to see and do on this tour from beginning to end. Walking the Highline offered many views and Jonathan's stories and historical perspectives really added to the experience. Plenty of vintage and contemporary architecture on that part of the trip. The food stops in Greenwich were great. Top shelf favorite food stop was Bleecker Street Pizza. Our absolute favorite thing about this tour was strolling through the West Village neighborhoods. Personally, I wish we had more time in those areas. The Jazz clubs are calling. Would loved to have stepped into Aurthur's Tavern or The Blue Note. Do this tour near the beginning of your trip. We did it on our last day. Just amazing...we will return to this amazing city. Our tour guide Clare was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to places we would have normally just walked past. The various food stops again were very good.

Our tour guide, Claire, was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable and her love for the city is infectious. We learned a lot about the history of the High Line and Greenwich Village. The food joints she brought us to had special meanings and absolutely delicious.
