Thé views from tops of stairs are amazing; tour guide Greg was chock-full of tidbits about Bay Area; the artwork of the stairs and the history behind the art was very interesting. Definitely would recommend for you individuals who appreciate a walk with a purpose and views.

This tour takes you around a different neighborhood to take in the sights and views of the entire city. Greg is very knowledgeable about the history of the steps and surrounding plants. To note: this tour has a lot of steps and hill walking. While it is at a leisurely pace, it may make it difficult for those with mobility issues.

Although we lived in San Francisco for 3 years a while ago, we throughly enjoyed visiting these sites and learned a lot of new interesting facts about the city. Greg is a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide who was very accommodating. We highly recommend adding this tour with Greg to your San Francisco repertoire!

The tour was a great way to learn about the history of the city while also enjoying the beautiful mosaic steps and views of the city. Greg is incredibly knowledgeable and had us all engaged - from the teens to the parents.

My kids loved it, they still talk about ut to this day. My daughter remembers all the facts our tour guy said and shares it with people when we come into town.

The guide is extremely nice, funny, and knowledgeable. The hike takes place at a leisurely pace, which allows for fully taking it all in as you go, and for plenty of photographs. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best tours I've been on! I was planning to visit the stairs on my own but I'm so glad I went with Greg. He made the walk through the residential streets interesting and kept us entertained with stories and random facts about the area. I also learnt so much about the stairs, the stories behind them, and how they were made. The pace is nice and leisurely, so suitable for most fitness levels. Greg takes photos of everything as you go (including some great photos of guests on the stairs) and sends them to you afterwards which is very handy. Highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it!

My partner and I attended the Hidden Stairways tour during a recent trip to San Francisco. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The mosaic staircases are gorgeous, and (as a mosaic hobbyist, myself) I was delighted to be able to see them in person and learn all about how they were designed and created. Greg was a fun host who provided plenty of interesting information and took beautiful photos to capture our experience. He also sent us home with a few succulents—which are now thriving in their new home in Austin. This tour is well worth your time—thanks, Greg!

This was a stunningly terrific adventure! Greg's knowledge about the beautiful, even breathtaking sets of mosaic stairs was insightful and fascinating - but it was his narration of San Francisco history (complete with high-res images on one of that Cupertino company's big devices) that really put this over the top. The views from [SITE NAME REDACTED] at the top of the final staircase are the best to be had in San Francisco - and very, very few people know about it. Five big stars!

Greg’s tour of the hidden steps was fantastic. It was educational, relaxed, fun, and well paced for those of us in our mid 60’s and other guests in their 20’s! He held the attention of guests who were local as well as those visiting from another country. I highly recommend this tour for the micro and macro San Francisco. Bravo!

What a wonderful tour! Greg was an awesome host as he led us on a fun and informative walk to experience hidden mosaic stairways, succulents, and so much more, culminating in the most spectacular view of the SF area! (Weather was on our side). Greg even takes pics for everyone! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and unique SF experience.

Greg was a great guide. I happened to be the only person that day taking the tour and we had a good conversation and hike for the 2 hours. The stairs were great pieces of art, but I also feel like I learned a good amount about the basic history of San Francisco. Greg also offers pictures and a video summary of the tour for free, which is nice because I probably didn't have enough pictures of myself on this trip. The tour was a good time!

I really enjoyed today; weather was great, views of the city spectacular and overall Greg was incredibly knowledgeable and outstanding in providing our group with so much interesting information about San Francisco and the surroundings that we visited.
