Monkey mountain and Marble mountain is really wonderful. It's rich in culture and history and I felt very lucky to experience it. But make no mistake, the best thing about this tour is Loi. He is such an amazing guide, warm, funny and knowledgeable. We ended up asking him to take us to Ba Na hills a few days later and we had the best time. We stayed in touch for the rest of our time in Vietnam and he helped us with recommendations for both places to eat, where to go, what to do and even with medicine when I got sick. The truest treasure in the whole of Vietnam is Loi. Book this tour! You simply will not regret it.

David was so lovely! I originally booked a food tour with him in Danang and ended up booking nearly an entire day of activities with him 2 days later in Hoi an. Super friendly, we went to and did the coolest stuff and ate the best food and I had the best experiences! Highly recommend 👏🏼👏🏼

The Lady Buddha visit, in particular, surpassed our expectations, evoking the atmosphere of a European piazza. Loi is very friendly. Unable to go to monkey mountain because of using a scooter with no gears. However marble mountain, fishing village, and largest bhudda in da nang were great. Highly recommend this excursion.

Loi was a great host for our day in Da Nang. He is friendly and personable and made us feel like VIPs. We visited the Marble Mountains on a scooter journey. It was my first time being a passenger on a scooter and Loi was a careful driver, this part was really fun for me. I am so glad we chose to have a guide at the marble mountains as we would not have known anything about the history of the place or how best to navigate the site without Loi. It was a hot day (by my standards!) when we went and Loi provided multiple cold water bottles which were very appreciated! Loi taught us about life for the local fisherman and we were able to see the bamboo boats up close. We also visited the Lady Buddha up close which we didn’t realise was included so that was a big bonus! and then Loi took us to some of the most spectacular viewing points to see over the city. We also saw lots of monkeys!! Loi then took us to a hidden away cafe that was super cute and we had the most delicious coconut coffees. Loi shared lots of recommendations about local restaurants and foods to try and told us stories about his life. He is a natural host and has great English skills. He also took lots of photos for us which was great! Would highly recommend booking Loi for a jam packed and memorable day out and to learn about Da Nang from a lovely local!

This experience truly was one of my favorites when visiting Vietnam for the first time. Loi is a one of a kind soul who shows how much he cares for and loves his job by giving you an amazing tour. He also really cares about your comfort and safety. He is very passionate, friendly, and welcoming, greeting you with big smiles. I really felt safe with him the entire time. The hike up Marble Mountain is a little strenuous and slippery (but still doable from somebody who doesn’t hike often), so make sure to wear a good pair of sneakers. The views were so worth the little trek. Loi enjoys sharing his knowledge of these beautiful and sacred places. He does a great job of sharing stories of the people, their religion, and culture in Vietnam. He also takes insane and gorgeous pictures of you. I didn’t even have to ask! He knows where all the great spots are as he loves to take pictures of you enjoying the moment. Afterwards, he brought me to probably one of the cutest cafes I’ve ever been to (speaking as a former barista who’s been to plenty of coffeehouses) and we ended the day with a nice iced egg coffee. When in Vietnam, right? As a first time solo female backpacker from NY, I’m truly grateful for this experience, and I’ve learned so much from him. I can’t recommend him and his tour enough!! The trip was awesome! Me and my spouse got a private tour and we were picked up by Loi and his brother with motorbikes. Loi had lots of knowledge about the places we visited and he was really eager to take pictures of us as well. The places he took us were really special and moving around with motorbikes was exciting and fun. At the end of the day we sat down for a nice coffee and we got some great reccommendations about places to eat and visit. There was no hurry at any point. We had a great day, thank you!

loi really is a great tour guide who inspires with knowledge, humor, great places and stories! I can absolutely recommend the tour with him and I more than enjoyed it! I saw really great places and learned a lot on this very personal tour! It's a bit like a friend showing you his favorite places and Loi can really tell a lot about Vietnam's culture, Buddhism, and also history. And of course it is always a highlight in Vietnam to live the country on the back seat of a bike! The cafe we ended with a great coffee is a really nice place to be and in the end he gave me anfällst good recommendation for dinner! Don‘t hesitate - book this tour!

Loi was an amazing guide who brought us to places that suits our liking and explained things at each place in details. Riding on the backseat of his scooter was also an amazing experience, soaking up the nature and the breeze while he rode. As a tour guide, Loi loves what he does and it shows in the services he provided! He was energetic, helpful and did his best to make sure his guests got the best out of the tour and out of Danang. He is very knowledgeable and gave good insights not just about the places we visited but about Danang city as well. He will also ask you questions about your interest to tailor the information that he would give you, and I love how he would always give an overview for whichever site we are visiting before releasing specific nuggets about the different spot, for eg, he would lead me to climb up to an exact spot in front of a big Buddhist statue before revealing a hidden sleeping Buddha behind, or he would reference some other tourist spot in Danang and explain how that is connected to whatever sight we are seeing. Oh and he takes excellent photos as well and would share them on google docs with you at the end of the tour! I really feel like I know the Marble Mountains and Monkey Mountains much better after the tour with Loi.

Excellent tour, highly recommend this guide when exploring around Da Nang for the first time independently or as a couple. David (Loi) also helped arrange transport from Da Nang to Hoi An at a much cheaper rate than various taxi apps. Thanks again! We had also left our phone chargers in Hoi An, and with David’s help, he returned it to us in Da Nang, going completely out of his way!

My guide Loi, picked me up from my hotel on time. We rode a motorbike all the way to the Marble Mountain. Loi was engaging and knowledgeable, and was passionate in his story telling. As I wanted to skip coffee time, we then made way to the Monkey Mountain. Along the way, we stopped by a fishing village, and Loi shared some background and history of the area. I like that he knows every small detail of the area, and is also curious about what I’m interested in. Next we took a 45 min drive around the monkey mountain to look at Da Nang city from a height. We did see some monkeys by the roadside, which he stopped for my photo taking moments. Lastly, we went to see the tallest Guanyin statue in Vietnam. It towers over 67 meters tall. The temple looked beautiful, and Loi shared various cultural, religious,and historical aspects of the area and of Da Nang. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn more about Da Nang in 3 hours!

This experience is a must for anyone wanting to see the essentials of Danang city. The tour guide was very helpful navigating the terrain of Marble mountains - we would have overlooked and not gone to some places if not for the helpful guide. All places visited were followed with extra commentary about the history and significance. We even got few extra snacks and sights to see. The host made us feel welcome in Danang!

Loi is an outstanding guy. This was our second tour with him and his cousin Duyen. They went out of their way to take us to different spots, some which were not even covered in the initial itinerary and it was a really pleasant surprise. Bike ride through the street of Da Nang and the sea face and the steep climb to the marble mountains was an experience to cherish. Both Loi and Duyen are energetic and enthusiastic. I traveled with David for 2 trips. He is a good friend that you can make while you are in Hoi An. He took me to the nightlight place of Hoi An, explain things fluently in English, and he is also a good photographer. I really recommended him when you are in this town.
