Great guide. We thought the hike was fairly easy. My son and I are runners age 20 and 62. My concerns are about falling and felt this hike had a nice mix of traversing terrain and beauty. I feel our guide would have adapted the hike for beginners. However come prepared.

Well worth it. We are city people and wanted a knowledgeable guide to take us a bit deeper into the park than we might go by ourselves. We enjoyed a beautiful day along the trail, the river, saw deer, visited a beautiful waterfall. Debbie was a terrific guide and companion, teaching us about the history, wildlife and foliage along our hike. Recommend.

Great experience. Got to see a bear, wild turkeys, and a white tale deer. Our guide took the time to explain some of the habitat so we could catch our breath. Would recommend being I good physical condition to walk the uneven trails. Had a great time.

Great hike! Tour guide TJ was very knowledgeable and entertaining as well! Terrain was a bit challenging but distance and elevation was very manageable. Beautiful water views. Highly recommend!

As a novice hiker, this is not an easy hike. Our guide was very patient, as we were late to begin with and then I held up the group, taking much more time to do the hike than others. But he always stopped to let us catch up. Since we were in the back, we didn’t hear everything, but our guide did stop and talk about the area, which we appreciated. It’s a beautiful hike and well worth your time. Just make sure you can do a more strenuous hike. Obviously it’s on a mountain, so its downhill and uphill, on uneven terrain. The uphill was killer for me. Would I do it again, Yes, Yes, Yes, however, I will make sure I am in better shape by doing several flights of stairs before I go again. Thanks for a lasting memory!!

We were surprised to learn this was a private tour. Our guide TJ couldn’t be more patient, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful!!! You’d be lucky to have him be your guide. He turned an ordinary hike into an extraordinary experience!!! He quickly spotted things we would have missed and shared historical, cultural and botanical stories with us. Corian was an excellent guide full of interesting information about the trees, flora, animals and history of the Great Smokey Mountains. She was well equipped and knew the terrain. Can’t wait to do another hike very soon.

Our guide Tj was fabulous. He shared some great information with us about plants, animals and the history of the area. We spotted 3 salamanders and a ton of mushrooms even some bright orange ones. We would recommend this hike great memories we’re made.

Throughly enjoyed our hike today with Ken as our guide! He let us dictate the pace today and we got a good hike in! His experience in hiking and the national parks is unmatched. It was just my husband and I today and I was a little nervous about the planned route so we changed things up last minute to make sure I was comfortable on the hike. He was kind and I cannot overstate the vast knowledge he shared with us during the hike about everything from bears to history in the area, and general hiking safety. Thank you Ken!!

TJ was an awesome guide! We learned about the trees and flowers, birds and insects. He intuitively stopped to teach us about the forest after inclines He set a pace comfortable for our twenty year olds and the seventy year old in our group, yet kept to our four hour time window. We would not have wanted to miss out on this amazing hiking experience in the Smokey Mountains.

The walk, guided by Connor, was well worth it. It was invigorating, challenging and informative about the history of the Smoky Mountains. Highly recommended

We went on a private hike to hidden Falls with Connor. He was very knowledgeable and kept is interested the whole way. He explained to us about the trees and the wire was it flowers and all the little subtleties of the area. It definitely would not have been the same if we had gone on our own. I highly recommend this hike. It was moderate intensity and a good 3 to 4 hour workout. This was not a high traveled route so we didn’t run into a lot of people during our hike. I had never gone on a guided hike before but I certainly would recommend this.

This was the first time booking through Trip Advisor. Based on the recommendations this was highly recommended! We agree, it was fabulous! Rachel was our guide and she was an absolute delight! We could tell that she has found a job she truly enjoys! Not only did she teach us so much about the vegetation and other things along the trail, she respected the time we needed to rest and to take it all in. This is a beautiful area and sometimes we just wanted to stop and take a look around and take it all in. There was no rushed feel at all, and we enjoyed every minute of it. The reward of seeing the falls was amazing. So peaceful and not as well traveled of a trail as some of the other ones in the area. We only saw maybe 10-15 people in just over 4 hours. Glad we got the 8:00AM adventure as it was already starting to get busy in the parking areas. Please bring the recommendations listed on Trip Advisor to be fully prepared and to fully enjoy the adventure! Hiking shoes, hiking poles, water, and snacks were all extremely helpful. This was the highlight of our week long trip! Thank you to our guide Rachel once again for helping to make this experience unforgettable!

Jeremy was incredible- the hike was very educational due to Jeremy’s extensive knowledge. Jeremy was very accommodating to the groups needs and allowed us to progress at a pace that was right for each hiker. Beautiful hike with a wonderful waterfall to cap it off.
