The tour gave us a good insight into the history of Mumbai and the various buildings and key influencers in the development of the city. Again our guide Meherban painted a picture of the city, its history, the key people and conflicts past and present in the area. We saw a lot of different areas of the city, each with its own unique story!

Bombay is the ultimate walkers’ city though so few do. Dense and packed with history, if unfolded in the right hands. Nimisha, our guide was great. Laneways I have walked for years were seen with new interest. Great for those who know the city and for those visiting for the first time.

The tour was very informative and enjoyable. There was a lot to know about Mumbai’s old structures and buildings and our guide Meherban was incredibly knowledgeable on all of them. He gave us insight into Mumbai’s colonial history and especially on the city’s Parsi and Gujarati heritage. He was good-humoured, open, and made the experience comfortable, interactive, and suited to our personal preferences. Meherban clearly loved the city and his enthusiasm was contagious; we ended the tour with a new appreciation and reverence for the the city and its bones all around us. I can’t imagine the experience could have gotten any better.

I would have given this tour a 10 out 5 if I could. Absolutely excellent. Batul was informed, engaging, fun, and a lovely person to walk around the city with - with an encyclopedic knowledge of the city, I feel like I’ve spent so much more time here thanks to her care and attention. Worth the money and then some. I actually took the pre-dawn tour with her yesterday, and wanted to tour with her again today - she’s that good. I’ll contact No Footsteps and her again the next time I’m in Mumbai, for sure.

Our Guide irani was superb. We ran late and irani was very Patient with us. He have us an excellent Tour nad answered all our questions, made Sure we we're safe in the roads. He gave us Tipps where we should eat and visit.

TAKE THIS TOUR! We had a fantastic heritage walk with Adi today. He was informative and had a great grasp of the history and culture of Bombay. In addition he had lots of fun facts - past and present. And a terrific sense of humor. Adi was incredibly thoughtful - like when we went to the fish market and he pulled out shoe covers for our shoes. He also made the tour very personalized - asking what we wanted to see and learn - and then adjusted the route and what we did based on our interests. I can’t recommend him and the company more. Only regret is that we don’t have more time to do the sunrise Mumbai tour with him while we are still here.

This was the perfect walking tour for our family without being too intense. We were able to squeeze in many monuments starting with the Gateway of India. Neville was an extremely knowledgeable guide with tremendous energy and even though I’ve grown up here I still learnt a lot about the city and the history of its various monuments from him. He made the tour super enjoyable for sure. Highly recommended not only if you are visiting Mumbai but also for locals who want to learn more about the rich history and heritage of Mumbai.

We did two tours with No Footprints. The first was the early morning economy and the second was the architectural and historical Heritage tour walk of Mumbai. They were both very informative and we found the guide Meherban Irani to be a font of knowledge and a source of engaging stories. The experience was greatly enhanced by our curiosity as Meherban really enjoys guests who ask questions and actively engage in discussion.

The Heritage walk that started from the Gateway of India with our guide Meherban Irani was an enriching one. Though my family and I’ve been to Mumbai a few times earlier, this trip will remain the most memorable one as we learnt about the history and culture of Mumbai’s landmark buildings. Aman was so knowledgeable and keen to share everything he knew about the buildings around us as we toured the colonial part of Mumbai. So much more than I anticipated, it was a revelation. I'd have no issue recommending Aman for any tour. He was also a great photographer too!

This is the second tour I did with Aman in Mumbai, the heritage walk tour. You get to see the colonial buildings near the Mumbai Taj Hotel. Aman is knowledgeable, fun and friendly. I would highly recommend his Mumbai tours. He is very passionate about the city and it shows.

KP is an amazing tour guide. He is knowledgeable (especially on architecture of the city) and caring. Very detail oriented. Clearly he knows about the city. We could ask almost anything in his touring. From foods, to fashion; from sports to entertainment; from education to economics, he could give you a good answer! Truly enjoyed his touring!

This was an outstanding tour. You really get a sense of the city’s history and architecture by walking around some key areas. Our guide Disha was terrific — she provided so much context, insight, humor and interesting stories and facts. Just spending a few hours learning about Mumbai and chatting with her is so well worth the tour! Our only one small suggestion is that either TripAdvisor or the tour company could be more clear in describing the difference between booking this as solely a walking tour or adding a driver and some additional sights. We’d give this tour and Disha our highest recommendation for a half day well spent in Mumbai!

I’ve visited Mumbai only a few times in my life, and they have all been quick visits to meet family. This time around my wife who grew up in Mumbai insisted we do a proper tour of the city she loves so much and that we do it with the No Footprints company since that’s what all the international celebrities are using these days. I am happy to say that it was our best decision. Our tour guide Neville met us early at the TajMahal hotel and took us on the most wonderful walking tour through the heritage streets of mumbai. The history of Mumbai (or Bombay, as my wife who grew up here still insists on calling it) is truly astounding. A century of history spanning the occupation of multiple European countries and their siege of the 7 islands is neaytly wrapped up in the streets we walked through. We have done so many walking tours all over the world and always believe that the guide maketh the tour. Neville was funny and warm and very obviously proud of the city he grew up. He regaled us with stories of kings and freedom fighters. His off the script knowledge was commendable as well, as he regaled us with his personal anecdotes and jokes as we may our way through the hot streets of mumbai. By the way , if you are lucky, Neville will even make short pit stop at the local coconut water stall for the most refreshing drink to beat the mumbai heat ! A morning well spent. We decided on the spot to go back to the hotel to book another No footprints tour the following day and to make sure to request Neville as our guide . Very satisfied and happy, albeit slightly sweaty customers !

My husband and I had the most wonderful Mumbai Heritage walk from the gateway of India Port to the Mumbai high Court with our guide Neville. My husband is new to Mumbai, but I had lived here growing up. Everything our tour guide told us was new and unique ! From the history of the gateway and Taj to the history of the high court and the mumbai university . It was amazing to see this city with fresh new eyes. Neville was so knowledgeable about the places we went to. Loved the wayg he brought humor to some of the heavy topics. I am so happy someone recommended No-footprints to us . They are really showcasing the heart of this city. I would recommend this to not just travelers but people who live here . I bet you no Parsi knows where the surname ‘Readymoney’ came from.
