While strolling on the San Antonio Riverwalk, I found myself at the entrance of the iconic “Hard Rock Cafe”. The interior was predictably adorned with rock memorabilia: guitars, records, and posters. The menu choices mirrored those of other Hard Rock Cafes worldwide: burgers piled high, nachos smothered in cheese, and towering milkshakes: nothing more than you would expect. Yet, as I sipped my cocktail and fries, I couldn’t help but steal glances outside. The Riverwalk, with its meandering pathways, lush greenery ans boats floated by filled of passengers waving cheerfully. So the real feast of the place was the view.

Awesome time! We got there during the dinner rush, but were seated promptly with great service by Chris E! The food was fantastic, drinks were good, and it was well worth the crowd.

Hard Rock Cafe advertised that it was honoring veterans on Veterans Day 11 November 2023 and it did with a delicious hamburger, fries and glass of water. The hamburger was wonderful and the bun was very good too. I liked the staff, the decor, the pictures on the wall and stories about the entertainers. Also, the bathroom was clean and other patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Do live the vibe in a hard rock cafe and looking at memorabilia on walls. This was fairly lively on a Sunday night. Enjoyed our fajitas, burger and brownie dessert.

When in a major city, dine at its Hard Rock we say! We did a Open Table Resy for our visit...if you know, you know! The atmosphere was typical and our waiter, while overwhelmed, did his best. My husband ordered my usual chicken tender plate, while I ordered their steak fajitas...both were yummy! Of course we had to shop for more Hard Rock gear before we left!

Everything about our experience from beginning to end was terrible. The hostess put us down for a table of 9 instead of 2. This caused multiple parties that arrived after us to be seated ahead of us. The manager tries to make this right by offering a free appetizer that they later charge and we pay for. The chicken tenders were burnt.

Miss Isabel was an attentive bartender friendly and personable. The food came fast and was presented well, I had a bacon cheeseburger, my wife had nachos with guacamole and is still having about the guacamole. For drinks my wife had a screw driver she said the pour was perfect and I had a bud light. Enjoyed our experience, thank you!

Usually if you go to a chain the food and service is consistent The same for this location. We had a table on the River Walk which made for a nice evening dinner. It was packed and we had about a 30 minute wait, which we spent at the bar. Even as packed as they were, the service at the bar and our table was quite good. Happy, friendly staff. No one had any complaints on their food. We were able to order promptly and food came out in standard time.

Went with the family for our daughter’s birthday. Not the most exciting Hard Rock that I have ever been to as I have been to 20 of them all over the world. Service was great which is saying something now a days. The food however was disappointing and of all thinks to skimp on French fries. Really come on and the burgers shrank as well.

The restaurant had a bad odor I think they were having sewer problems Didn’t eat just a few drinks went elsewhere to eat Not a good experience

We came here with a hundred students on a school trip. The staff was quick and accommodating. Friendly service. Beautiful views.

Food was OK...not as good as other Hard Rock locations..everything was exceptionally over salted. Waitress Shantel was amazing. Spot on service and bright spot of the meal.

This is a nice stop along the river walk. Service was good and the food was also good. They had live music and it was enjoyable.

Really good pulled pork sandwich and onion ring tower and cheesecake ! Nice server too. I liked that there was a variety of indoor and outdoor seating and that we didn’t feel rushed

We went there as a family. It can get noisy. The food was good. At our table several entrees were ordered to include burgers, ribs and salads. The only negative to me were the menu options. They don’t have much to choose from, especially when it comes to appetizers.

The food was great. Hostess was super nice. We really enjoyed the lemonade. Everyone was pretty friendly inside of the restaurant.

We went there dec 12 for our anniversary. Could have waited for a table or go to the bar. Found 2 spots at the bar had the best food and drinks. Our bartender was truly one of the best we have ever had. We go here for a drink every time we go to San Antonio for our anniversary. Always great but this lady was just amazing. I wish I would've remembered her name. Worth every penny.

My brother and I visited San Antonio for a few days and ate at a number of restaurants. The experience at the Hard Rock was an excellent experience. We sat at the bar and were able to charge our electronic devices as there were plugs there. The staff were pleasant as well and the food was excellent. Well worth a visit.

Went with friends for a meal on the riverbank. Disappointingly there were "pigeons" everywhere.. and then when they landed on a table the table was not cleaned with disinfectant.. soured what should of been a relaxing atmosphere otherwise

This Hard rock is on the riverside and we stopped here for a drink and the Rock shop being Hard Rock Cafe fans Very friendly and helpful staff who were very knowledgable which does go a long way with us at least Recommended Enjoy
