Huy was our guide for the foodie tour. Although we had Vietnamese food back home, the food we tried with Huy were completely new to us. All the dishes were very delicious. Huy taught us how to eat like a local. Highly recommended.

Huy was an amazing food guide! Very knowledgeable and kind. We got to learn about the history of different types of Vietnamese cuisine. I would highly recommend booking on your first day in Hanoi so you can familiarize yourself with the different types of dishes:) Overall, very cool experience.

We had such a great time on this tour with our guide Huy Vu. It was an extremely warm evening and he did a great job of taking us to places that were close to each other. We went to 8 places and tried 10-12 different items. The food was incredible and so fresh. Huy did a great job of introducing all of the places and dishes but also gave us space to enjoy our friend time together. 5/5 would recommend doing again and would request Huy.

Our guide Huy, way was very nice and personable. He took his time to explain everything and the food choices were a very good mix. We were able to get the flavor for Vietnamese food and the cultural relevance to each dish. The food choices were plentiful and very tasty . I would recommend this tour to everyone to do the first night or the second night of arrival.. It was nice to go to local places to eat, instead of tourist traps. He was very accommodating to our group in regards to food, allergies as well. A must do.

We were met at our hotel on time and were introduced to another couple which made our group 6 people including Huy, the tour leader. He took us to 6 different places and explained in detail all the dishes we tried. All the food we tried was freshly prepared and delicious. There was even a beer at the end. Huy was willing to take us to a couple more places but we all had eaten enough by then. I recommend you try this tour when you arrive in Hanoi. Huy sent us more places to try during our stay.

This tour was excellent and I strongly recommend it to any first time travellers to Vietnam. Our guide Huy not only took us to some amazing local eateries but also taught us all some invaluable lessons on surviving Hanoi, from crossing road safety to street food hygiene tips and tricks. As such, I suggest doing the tour at the beginning of the trip.

The food tour is a must for Hanoi. You’ll never find all the hidden local gems on your own; this tour gets you in and out with a taste from each. We had Huy as our guide and he was great. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this tour as you will get to try many different Vietnamese foods that the average foreigner most likely have not heard of before! I wouldn’t have even known those dishes existed if it weren’t for this tour and now I have some places I would like to go back to. Pick up was efficient and timely. It was nice having a local show us around the local food places/foods. Our tour guide Huy was very helpful and made the tour comfortable
