We started with discussing our menu with Einstein over a cup of tea, then off to the market to buy the ingredients before heading to Einstein’s home to cook in his kitchen. It was a great experience. Einstein was super friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this experience if you enjoy a cultural experience.

Super class! Andy was our guide. She was very professional and very kind. She explained everything very well. We had 2 kids from the age of 8 and 9. She made sure the kids had a fantastic day too! The dinner we made was delicious. We will come back If we are in Hanoi again.

A very enjoyable and informative class, a walk through the local market with Chef Chris, who provided lots of interesting information about the market and the local way of life. Back to the restaurant where the set up and cooking environment was excellent, small class, 4 people only, nice atmosphere, detailed and step by step process of preparing and cooking the food, then you eat. Excellent, we really enjoyed it!

We had a cooking with Anna, and it was one of our trip's highlights. Highly recommended if you're in Hanoi. We started around 9, taking a bike ride to the cooking location while enjoying views from Old Quarter. Then Anna showed us the variety of dishes we could choose from: 3 entrees + dessert, or 4 entrees. We chose 3 entrees and a dessert. There were plenty of options to choose from, appetizers, different meats, seafood, vegetarian, etc. Anna also had recommendations based on our preferences. Then we left to walk to the market where we bought all the ingredients we would use. We spent the time cooking and preparing all the different dishes and then enjoyed delicious food. The dishes we chose were: bun cha, stuffed eggplant, catfish in caramel sauce, and sticky rice with coconut.

Ana/Yen was the best! We do not take many tours, but wanted a cooking class in Hanoi. Anna made everything easy and enjoyable, from being picked up at the hotel to a trip to a lovely market, to the place by the river with a professional kitchen. We had many choices from her menu, and the crispy pancakes were outstanding! (We even made them ourselves, along with the spring rolls and lemongrass chicken, with her patient help of course). I will take these recipes back to the US, and will always think of that wonderful morning and lunch now that I know how to cook Vietnamese food (a little at least!).

Had a great morning with our guide Anna from Awesome tours. Picked us up at the hotel then took us to the market - would have struggled a bit on my own😁 Then took us to a nice place by the Red River where she introduced us to the techniques of Vietnamese cuisine. Then had lovely lunch - thanks to her with a little bit of help from us. Highly recommended.

Anna is a superstar, we went to the market, bought fresh produce and then went back to their homestay, and cooked fome fantastic food, it was a wonderful experience and I would do it again, Anna explaines everything and then patiently makes sure you cook it right, It was one of the highlights of our holiday..... I and my friend took home cooking class with Anna, and it was one of the best experiences in my life. Anna is so kind, patient, and delightful! She will teach you how to buy some stuff in the local market. Cooking class is also placed in a very peaceful, small village. So after finishing cooking, you can have your own meal at the beautiful balcony-like place. I definitely recommend to take class with Anna!!! Thank you so much again, Anna! :)

While on a two-month tour of SouthEast Asia, I took three cooking classes. This was the first, and the best! I made fried spring rolls in each class along with other items, and these are the BEST! I've now made them at home, with the recipes I received by email afterward. It was fun and everyone got to prepare the food as well as assist in cooking. Though I signed up alone, I joined others for the class. Try this one, it's great!

Ontzetting aardige man. Hij nam ons mee naar zijn huis, wij maakten kennis met zijn zoontje en zijn schoonmoeder. Als eerste kochten wij alle ingrediënten op de lokale markt. Wij mochten zelf kiezen wat wij wilden maken. Thuisgekomen maakten wij verse loempia's, gebakken loempia's, gefrituurde rijstkoekjes een saus bij de loempia's en groene Papaya salade. Alles was even heerlijk! De leraar heeft ons thuisgebracht op de scooter, voor mijn man een Grab scooter, wij kregen de toeristische route over de trainbridge, geweldig!! Een 10+ van ons
