The Christmas market, bratwurst and pommes frites, and a lovely driverguide who found parking everywhere. It was a wonderful time on Christmas Eve and we saw the highlights of the city, even on a holiday when most places were closed. She made the best of it, and it was very enjoyable.

Angela knows everything about Hamburg, be it the history of the Hanseatic League, the occupation by Napoleon or the architecture of the early 20th century, the destruction in World War II, the port, the many trees, etc. etc. After the tour, we had a better understanding of Hamburg and its residents.
