We came for the interesting landscape, and it didn’t disappoint, especially under the beautiful sunset. The cruise stops at a giant limestone cavern; we have seen similar cavern else where, but still impressive. Then a stop at a small cove that you can either kayak or take a boat ride; the monkeys in there is the main attraction. The final stop is a small island with crowded beach, but we chose to climb to the top for a gorgeous view of the bay. The guides are fun and friendly. The tour does force you to stop at a pearl factory and a local food mart, which wastes about 90 min out of a already long day.

Visit to the Oyster Farm and to the limestone formations in the caves was amazing. Food served was delicious. It was real luxury experience, right from the hotel pickup till the end. Your guide Mr. Garry was very helpful and provided thorough information.

Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Ho was excellent and extremely informative. The tour ran like clockwork (picked up and dropped off on time etc), the bus was very spacious and comfortable, the boat was great and lunch was pretty good too. Halong bay is gorgeous and there was plenty of time to enjoy it. If you’re going to do a day trip rather than an overnight one then pick this tour.

The trip was reasonably well organised - some uncertainty at the beginning. The sights were great and the extras of the bamboo boat ride and the cave visit were very good. The lunch was okay. One thing, we paid for a drinks package of free soft drinks and alcohol but at lunch we told that we could have one drink only. It wasn’t a big deal, but a bit disappointing that we didn’t get what was advertised and what we paid for.

I have to say this luxury travel was great with reclining leather seats and really cut the journey time down. Booking was simple - good communication via email would totally recommend this company. Boat was fine and good selection of food at lunch which tables laid ready. Downside is simply the amount of people there. So many boats so many people queueing to get up the steps inside the grotto cave. It was a public holiday on the day we went but I believe it is always pretty busy. It’s a shame they seem to be overdoing it with the tourists very little wildlife can be seen And no time for any kind of relaxation on the beach. That said the tour in itself was a good day out was really glad we paid a bit extra and didn’t go the longer route.

Picked up from hotel in luxury and taken to Ha long to meet the boat to make the less known "new route" with very few other tourist boats. A fabulous full day with plenty of space and opportunity including a sea swim and kayaking in awesome scenery which simply can't be described. But best of all is the service and staff of the tour. A special mention to Jasmin for making it all for maximum enjoyment and interest....A Special lady doing a special job.

The van that fetched us from hotel(located outside old quarter) to Halong bay was very comfortable and it was about a 2 hours journey through the new expressway. Lunch on board the vessel was not fantastic but we had nothing to complain about. After the trip, we were sent back to our hotel even though it is located outside the old quarter. Lastly, we had a very good and informative tour guide by the name of Chuong. He is the best tour guide during our trip to Hanoi.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on this luxury tour. The fact that the luxury bus navigated the busy streets of Old Hanoi to pick us up at our door and drop us off was a huge selling point for us. Our guide Chung explained everything with fact and good humor to keep us organized and entertained all day. The luxury bus, the boat to Ha Long, and our bamboo boat ride with Mai were all spectacular. I’m highly recommending this tour over others because we truly felt special. The cave experience was also an unexpected highlight thanks to Chung (who is very smart, well spoken, enthusiastic and patient). We would highly recommend this tour above others and our pictures will show you why!

We wasn’t sure whether we should visit Halong Bay because it would normally takes 4 hours one way. However, we found this luxury tour that could take us there in 2 hours with the new highway. The luxury van is very nice and comfortable. WiFi, USB charging and water on board. We had our private cruise and the Chung was very knowledge and nice guide. Halong Bay is a must visit place but definitely recommend you to join this tour. You will not regret it.

It's just incredibly awesome. Booking was a breeze. Very considerate and accommodating. The van driver despite limited English communication skills was kind. And we enjoyed the luxury travel in a van which only two of us had for ourselves.. The lunch was awesome.. The experience was simply awesome. I would love to bring my children back to Halong bay..

The desert Dawgs from Namibia were picked up by a luxury mini bus in Hanoi. The bus was comfortable and has wifi on board. Our tour guide were comfortable in english and he was entertaining. We had an enjoyable time at Halong Bay.It was good to see the fishing village and we had much fun on the canoes. Much recommended!

Today we are having trip to Halong Bay with Mr. Chuong as our tour guide, he explain clearly and has a very good English. Also the van, the food and the itinerary is very good. We recommend everybody, who are planning to have Halong Bay trip to use this Tour Agent.

I just had the One Day Luxury tour to Halong Bay and I’m so glad that I decided to do it! Chuong, our tour guide, made sure we were well taken care of from the beginning to the end. The boat tour was very nice, as we got to eat tasty food with a beautiful scenery! I highly recommend it!

Our group of 8 from the USA booked the Halong Luxury Day Tour with Awesome Travel for the first weekend in July 2018. If you don't want to read the rest of this review, all you need to know is that everything about the experience was perfect, from the initial communication, to payment, to accommodating dietary restrictions, to the tour guide, and finally to the actual tour itself. The 10-passenger luxury van picked us up at our hotel in Ha Noi at 8:30 am. The van was nicely air-conditioned, which was definitely needed given how hot the weather was. Our tour guide was an incredibly friendly young lady named Thương. Although the trip from our hotel to Ha Long Bay was 3 hours long, she made the trip go by incredibly fast by telling us numerous stories about her life and her country's history, along with a pretty cool crash-course on how to speak Vietnamese and what all those symbols on the letters mean. About half-way there, we stopped at one of the cleanest, nicest rest stops I've ever seen. The bathrooms were spotless, and there was a little store that sold snacks. The best part was the coffee shop where I got a Vietnamese iced coffee (cà phê sữa đá). It was delicious! When we arrived at the bay, Thương pointed out a symbol at the entrance that we hadn't known about...it was the symbol for UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This was the first of many UNESCO sites that we visited in Vietnam. Once you see the breath-taking views, you'll understand why Ha Long Bay is on the list. We boarded the boat and as it took off, they served us a very enjoyable lunch while we cruised around the bay. The views were spectacular...a photographer's paradise. Also included in the tour is a small hike through the humongous Động Thiên Cung cave, which is also an amazing site to see. My favorite part of the tour was actually the kayaking. It was very cool to be able to visit parts of the bay where the boats couldn't go. My only complaint was that the rest stop about half-way back to the hotel was not nearly as nice as the one going there. The bathrooms were not very clean and we would have preferred a place that had some fast dining options. It was late when we got back to the hotel in Ha Noi, but we still had time to go out to a nearby restaurant. Other than that, the tour provided by Awesome Travel was definitely awesome!!

We did this trip in March well we thought we were getting a luxury coach ! Yes you do if you are picked up first if not then you are squeezed into small seats at the back. That was only the beginning we arrived at the boat thinking we were about to see Halong Bay but no we were taken to a smaller part about 2 hours drive from Halong Bay.I was so angry we had wanted to go here for years so disappointed!!! and let down .Be very warry when using Awsome Travel!!!

We visited halong bay with awesome travel. The guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. As well as warm and friendly! The bus and trip are exactly how it's described on the website. Our tour was a small group and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The bay is beautiful and nice to get away from the crowds. It's a little more expensive but well worth the money in my opinion . The services were excellent and was very satisfactory. Booked via email and paid deposit for family of 7 adults. We were welcomed by our guide, Chuong, in the morning upon his on time arrival at hotel. He has been very informative and humourous which made the whole trip enjoyable and satisfactory. Happy with our ride as the luxury van had good air-conditioning, deck upstairs, comfy seats, water, USB ports and we had 1 rest stop which was sufficient per way. Despite being a little drained after the cruise, there were no complaints as we were all relaxed and managed to have a quick snooze in the luxury van heading back to Hanoi. We were joined with a family of four for the cruise. Plenty of space for everyone. The cruise was at good speed, a lot of food was served before our activities (bamboo boat/kayak and cave hike) and offered 1 drink per person. Wet towels provided before meal and after the hike. Boat was clean and staff were nice. Overall everyone was happy and satisfied with our off the beaten path trip! I would recommend Chuong and Awesome Travel to anyone who is interested in a 1-day trip to Halong Bay.

Comfortable luxury bus with individual captain seats , wifi on board, our guide Mr Choung was informative and also very funny and made the whole trip a wonderful experience. Boat route was amazing and the scenery was unforgetable, lunch served was more than enough (group of 7 adults). Would definately recommend any friends or family to choose the day trip, 👍🏼👍🏼 to Mr Choung.
