Patrick was an amazing guide. Our family of four took the tour in October. Patrick was on time and knowledgeable in everything we asked. We needed to make a few adjustments to our day and he was totally accommodable. We had some with mobility issues in our group and Patrick made sure that we were all able to get the best experience in our day and recommend what was best. Once he knew what we were interested in he made sure to point things out. We loved every minute.

We took the tour to the Hallstatt from Salzburg. WOW! So beautiful! The tour guide was punctual and professional. He drove us to our destination and pointed out several areas on the route! It was spectacular scenery and the tour guide/driver knew the area well! He maneuvered the traffic well and took different routes to and from so we could see different scenery. We were very pleased with this group and would recommend!

This was an excellent tour! Our tour guide Patrick picked us up promptly, and drove us to several beautiful spots on the way to Hallstatt. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and enjoyable. Hallstatt was a picture perfect town. Per Patrick’s recommendations, we rented an electric boat to go out on the lake, and had lunch at the Gruner Baum Terrace restaurant. Patrick met us at the other end of town and dropped us back at our apartment. I highly recommend this tour and Patrick!

Hallstatt is absolutely stunning, and our guide - Patrick - was amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, funny, and responsive to our in-the-moment requests. He knows the area very well (he grew up there) and even our most unexpected questions led to a terrific story or example. Each stop was better than the last. Next time we're in Salzburg, we will 100% choose another tour with MCM and Patrick!

Everything was perfect, our guide Patrick was very nice and took us to beautiful spots on our way to Hallstatt to take amazing pictures and knew very well the history of each place. Very clean and comfortable van for the four of us.

Manfred is an incredible guide! He picked us up from our hotel promptly and made us feel so comfortable! On the way to Hallstatt he even stopped by sights that were off the beaten path and we were able to see different parts of the beautiful Austrian countryside. In the description of the tour it said we’d have a photo opportunity at St Gilgen, however we had already taken photos there on a separate tour. Manfred was so considerate because he didn’t want us to have a repeat experience- instead he showed us other beautiful landscapes so we can really appreciate the diverse natural beauty of Austria! Upon arrival at Hallstatt he provided directions to get to the most picturesque spots and made lunch reservations at Hotel Grüner Baum. We didn’t expect the reservations but we’re so happy that he did! The restaurant had such an amazing view of the lake and town. He really helped us maximize our time. The whole experience was just so charming- I highly recommend this tour! Manfred was so wonderful and patient with us! Thank you again, Manfred!

The driver was friendly and knowledgeable. The van was super clean and comfortable. Would recommend those who keen to go to Lake District without hassle.

What a wonderful tour! Patrick is a wealth of information about the area. We stopped at a number of places to take pictures of the most gorgeous scenery on the way to Hallstatt. He made a reservation at a lovely restaurant in Hallstatt where we ordered traditional Austrian food. Patrick took care of every detail. He was so easy to talk to and was eager to answer all our questions and offered recommendations of places in Salzburg to eat. Great private tour

Lena was great. We stopped for photos along the way and she answered every question we had. At Hallstatt, they made a reservation for us for lunch so we had a nice meal and still had time to take photos, shop, and take in the town. Great overall day away from Salzburg.

We loved our day trip to the Austrian Lake Country & especially beautiful Hallstatt. (Though we were glad we hadn’t opted to spend a night there!) Everything was exactly as advertised. Not sure if this was the same tour we were on, but we had Patrick as our guide and Manfred as our driver for this personal Sound of Music tour on our way to Hallstatt. It was the highlight of our trip to Austria! We decided while visiting our daughter, who was studying abroad in Vienna, to visit Salzburg as well. My husband got us this tour and we all thoroughly enjoyed it!! We have so many pictures, I can't add all of them. Patrick provided so much detail and insight into Austria for us! It was wonderful. I highly recommend!!
