Absolute must when going to Cyprus, we did so much in one day not only halloumi making on a small family farm, but also visiting a bee farm, olive oil tasting, touring the small village of Lefkara, and visiting a donkey farm too. Tried some unique products, and learnt lots. Panico was our guide (small group of only 4 people inc us) and he was just the best- funny, great English, and so knowledgeable and friendly, could see his passion for sharing Cyprus with us. The whole team are so responsive to any issues especially via WhatsApp and are there to make your time easy and enjoyable. 10/10 will be recommending to everyone I know who will be visiting Cyprus.

Wonderful tour making the cheese and then eating it fresh, along with a traditional lunch was a wonderful and informative experience that I highly recommend! Also able to go to some local villages . Please consider purchasing a lace item from the oldest shop the craftsmanship is incredible and you will. Or find anything like it elsewhere. Also went to a donkey farm to feed the donkeys and try donkey milk . Was also wonderful to visit an olive oil production site and a spot in a mountain village where honey and products from honey are made. You will not regret taking this tour and the guide was wonderful, kind, and knowledgeable.

Demi was a really nice guide. The halloumi farm reminded me of my childhood on a farm in Iceland. The village was really nice. And we fed donkeys, taste donkey milk and donkey liquor, tasted olives and olive oils, tasted honey.

An excellent tour in all respects. Our guide , Helena, was super-professional, very experienced and she shared some very interesting knowledge about Cypriot culture and traditions with us. We travelled in a very comfortable modern vehicle and Helena was also a very good, safe driver. The cheesemaking was the highlight for me, the daughter of the household was very patient and showed us all the processes and techniques for making delicious cheeses and the brunch was very generous and delicious. The young couple who keep bees were also excellent hosts, explaining beekeeping very well. But we also went to an organic olive farm, the Lefkara lace making traditional village and 'Golden Donkeys' donkey sanctuary - all interesting and worth visiting!

A bit pricey, but definitely worth it!! You get to see and learn so much. I'm sure next time we're back in Cyprus, we'll book another tour! This was the best tour in a long time. Our guide Panico and the crew went above and beyond to make our tour great! He was so full of knowledge and made us super comfortable. Water was offered multiple times and omg the scenery of the mountains! Locals were so welcoming. Our guide Panico also took a lot of pictures for us, so we could just focus to live in the moment.

Excellent tour! Had a really great time, Helena my guide was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely day and enjoyed every minute. The trip is perfect for everyone and it has so much to offer. Thoroughly enjoyed the Halloumi making session, very interesting and authentic. I look forward to booking my next tour!

Had an amazing and fun day on this tour! Got to make Halloumi and eat it together with the group, was so much fun! Also visited other local farms and tastings. Accompanied by our very nice and knowledgable tour guide Helena, who had the nicest stories to tell. Definitely recommend this tour!

The guides are extremely knowledgeable & the support team is well organised. A fantastic morning spent learning about the making & participating in the making of halloumi.

This is one of the best tours I’ve been on! It was very personal and included myself and another couple, which is much better than a large tour bus. I learned so much about how to make halloumi cheese and we visited all different kinds of farms in the villages of Larnaca-bee farm, olive farm, and a donkey farm. All farm and staff were wonderful and such a great way to familiarize yourself with the Cypriot culture. This is a tour that I highly recommend!

The halloumi making class was a great experience. Participating in this very traditional method of making this cheese that has become a favourite world wide was very heartwarming. The rest of the day was also exciting with the visit to the donkey farm and the beautiful village of Lefkara. Our tour guide, Panicos, was very knowledgeable, and very accommodating. His gentle, caring nature made everyone feel comfortable and we mingled and had fun.

Wonderful and informative. The guide Elena was great. She knew so many wonderful facts. The halloumi making was so much fun. The Donkey Farm was a really fun way to end our day.

What an amazing day. We were a small group of 5 plus guide (quite snug in the small people carrier if you are on the larger side). The Halloumi making class was great fun and very informative, we saw the Sheep and Goats that produce the milk and were able to cuddle a 1 week old kid. We also had the cheeses we made served at the brunch. We then went to the Bee farm which was very educational and we were able to taste (and buy) the honey. A stop at an olive farm was also made which again was very good and lots of products available to purchase. Lefkara Village was very pretty and lots to see, we stopped at a lovely little lemonade stall and purchased fresh lemonade which was delicious. Free time was given to do some shopping for lace, jewellery etc. Finally the Donkey Farm which was lovely, we fed cucumber to the donkey and were able to see many baby donkeys along with goats, chickens etc. An informative talk on the products was given along with time to purchase any products. It was a very full day and good value for money. Our guide was very good and he had lots of knowledge that he shared with us.

All worked amazing. From the pick up in the morning all the way through the entire day Our guide was the lovely Helena. She was super nice, patient, well known of the area Very helpful and full of knowledge. She took us through the beautiful villages of the trodos mountains, visited lovely places

My partner and I did the ‘Halloumi heaven: cheese making class and & Troodos mountain villages” tour which was hosted by Aikaterini & Theodora We started off the tour by visiting the monastery of st Thekla the healer which was a gorgeous monastery, lots of beautiful plants and flowers. We headed from the monastery to the halloumi making place, got to see the process of making halloumi and anari Cheese from start to finish while also helping out, sadly there was less cheese eating than expected but got to taste the halloumi we made which was delicious. We also saw the farm and fed the goats that are used to produce the milk for the cheese. We then made our way to pano Lefkara which is a small/medium sized village located within the mountains, the views were absolutely stunning and we visited a local embroidery and silver store where we learnt about the history of embroidery and silver within Cyprus. After the village we stopped at a Bee farm which produces local honey, very educational and amazing tasting honey! Finally we stopped at Golden donkeys, we got to feed and pet a variety of animals such as baby goats, donkeys and chickens. Personally I’d say the welfare is lacking a little bit but that is out of the tour guides control. Staff at the Donkey farm were very informative and provided a range of samples containing products produced at the farm. Overall it was an amazing tour and would highly recommend to others, hopefully when we are next in Cyprus we can find another tour with Cyprus Taste Tours as the guides were very helpful and provided a lot of information on the local areas.

This tour was a great experience. Meeting the family and making the cheese was great fun and very informative. Seeing the process from beginning to end (and actually tasting the cheese we made) was really enjoyable. Also, seeing the town of Lefkara gave us a sense of the smaller villages. Our guide, Ria, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and professional. we would definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful trip, the Haloumi making was the best until we went to the bee farm and then it was hard to pick of the two, when we went to Lefkara I had to admit the whole tour was wonderful. Thank you to Evie for making it a trip to remember.

We had an absolutely lovely time. Friendly and passionate local guide and a great visit to a charming family farm where halloumi has been made for generations. The visit to the Bee farm was surprisingly informative and interesting, and all the other stops were well worth it. I can highly recommend this day-long trip as one of the must-does if you have only a couple of days or a week in Cyprus.

Great experience just outside Larnaca, visited a donkey farm and a bee farm as well, along with the halloumi making course topped up with a light, Cypriot style brunch meal. Also fit in a short visit to Lefkara. Transport from/to our hotel was sorted, our guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Well recommended, five star tour.
