My family and I had a great experience with Gavin Shores during a full day on the water. Gavin was very knowledgeable with both the water conditions and species we were after. He was also helpful and patient with the wide range of fishing skill levels we had on our boat. We caught 50+ fish during the day, and were able to take home plenty of fresh fillets for a tasty seafood dinner that evening. With Gavin’s professionalism, personality and ability to adapt to the experience level of the people on his boat, I would rightly recommend his charter if you’re looking for a fun day on the water!

We went out for a half day and started off slow but ended up catching some great fish. Captain Gavin was awesome to hang out with and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He was very determined on having us go home with fish. Would highly recommend!

We did a half day, inshore fishing trip with Gavin. It was our first inshore charter and we were so surprised how much we enjoyed it. Gavin is extremely knowledgeable, and professional. This was our second time out with Capt. Gavin. Always a great time. Had family come and visit us and Gavin showed them an awesome time. We caught some lots of fish and focused on different types depending on the tides, weather and location. The fish fry later that night was almost as good as catching earlier that day. We’ll be back again, and again, and again.

My Brother Burt and I had a Fishing Trip in April of this year with Captain Gavin Shores into The Gulf of Mexico which I had never been. It was the best adventure I could have asked for. The ride in the boat out there was absolutely amazing with his tour knowledge of everything we passed on the way out to the Gulf. From explaining “Monkey Island” to “Bird Island”, etc. and the beautiful scenery and homes along the way out there and in. Captain Gavin was very knowledgeable and we could not have asked for anyone better to have given us this wonderful adventure. The Gulf was beautiful. I would do this all over again. Thank you again Captain Gavin, The Best Captain I’ve ever met and the friendliest and yes I will definitely be back. A definite trip everyone should have the opportunity to experience

Captain Gavin was awesome,experienced and knew all the spots.provided bait ,rods,and even baited the hook!Highly recommended. He goes out of his way to make sure you got fish on the boat.My friends and I caught redfish and trout.He was patient and kind ,untied my wind nots.Well experienced and knowledgeable about the waters and area.He cleaned our fish and we even scene dolphins! If you are looking for serious fishing Captain Gavin shores is the person book with!
