Highly recommend!!! Noodle was a great teacher and we enjoyed cooking then eating our creations. Well worth it!

Our chef, Noodle, is great. Made the whole experience fun and personal. In fact, it was the best Thai food we had during our entire 2 week trip.

As someone that sees a kitchen as way through to the garden this was always going to be different - quite how different I had no idea. Picked up from our hotel we went to the local market to get the fresh ingredients and then went to the cookery school. Massive amounts of fun were had by the group who quickly got into the preparation and cooking - laughing al the time - having each prepared our dishes we set about cooking which was even more fun. Not only did We cook lots of dishes they tasted amazing (under the expert guidance of our chef of course) Top tip - don’t have breakfast before you go - there is so much food Would I do it again- without question. - totally recommended trip in Chiangmai and really lovely people. Fantastic value and great fun

Noodle was a fantastic guide we had an amazing day. She is the best!!! DO not eat breakfast, you will make so much wonderful delish foods and be full all day. I learned so much and was really happy to stock up on ingredients over the rest of my trip after what i learned from Noodle. I dont know how i can put into words how great this experience was. I miss Thailand but i am happy i can make all the best dishes.

It was a fun experience with lots of laughs and great food! I found Thai food to be fairly easy to make and it’s delicious! Noodle (teacher, driver) has a great sense of humor.

What an amazing cooking experience with Noodle! We started out at the local market shopping for ingredients and then learned how to cook 4 Thai dishes and make a thai curry paste. My 11 year old son loved it and Noodle was so lovely and patient with him. We had a wonderful time and learned so much about thai ingredients and flavors, not to mention stuffing ourselves with all the food we made. (Noodle wasn't wrong to tell us to attend class hungry!) GREAT way to spend a morning!!

The course and Noodle were both fantastic. Extensive choices of dishes to make and a real hands-on experience. We have spent much of our trip tracking down the “best” and highly regarded street food, many of which with Michelin recognition, and the food we cooked in the class was every bit as good. Noodle has a great personality and was a very good instructor.

Tasty Yummy was one of the best cooking classes we’ve ever taken, and we’ve taken several around the world. Our instructor first took us to a market, where she explained what the different vegetables and ingredients were. She then had us choose which dishes we wanted to make, which did not have to be the same as our partner or the other students in the class. She takes up to eight people in a class, but they were only six of us, which was great. She spoke English perfectly, and was a great teacher, she made it very easy to make these Thai dishes. Another great thing about the class was she did not have us cook everything at once and then eat everything at once (which we’ve had to do in other cooking classes elsewhere), We cooked a dish then ate it, then cooked some more then ate some more, etc. so we were able to enjoy each dish over the course of 3+ hours. We highly recommend this class, it was both fun and yummy tasty!

Can't recommend Yummy's Tasty Thai Cooking Course enough, what a brilliant morning we had. Noodle picked us up at our hotel, then had a tour of her local market where we shopped for ingredients, then back to the cooking school where we were taught by Noodle how to cook 4 different dishes. Recipes were sent onto us afterwards by email along with photos of our morning. Would highly recommend this activity. Would also recommend you do not eat anything before you go as there is so much to eat once you have cooked it and it is all delicious. Noodle was brilliant, a really lovely lady, knowledgeable, patient and lots of fun and she dropped us back at our hotel afterwards too. This was one of our best activities while in Chaing Mai. Thank you Noodle for a great morning.

Noodle picked us up from our hotel, a family of three, two adults and one little guy, 10. We were taken to a local market where we picked the ingredients for our dishes. Arrived at the kitchen, clean and airy, each with our own areas. We had five courses to prepare! When they say go hungry, they mean it…! Skip breakfast… noodle was an excellent teacher and explained each of the dishes and their history, she took photos throughout and these and the recipes were promptly emailed. Really good tour, highly recommend.

Our host was wonderful. The trip to the market was very educational and she bought fruit we were interested in trying so we could explore the flavors and learn more. The cooking was fun and interesting. The flavors of the foods we cooked were out of this world!!

So much fun. Our teacher, Noodle, was awesome. Speaks very clear English, was very knowledgeable, and a great teacher. The food came out amazing, we were stuffed! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic cooking class. We were lucky to be just the two of us, so we ended up in a private lesson. The cook was very nice, and willing to share his culture with personal stories and answered all our silly questions :) We started with a visit to the local market, which was very different from the Sunday Market or other places for tourists in Chiang Mai. The class is suited for all levels. It was very easy to follow because all ingredients were prepared in advance, and the cook told us exactly what and how to do it. We learnt how to stir-fry, and many tips that the cook gave us to make Thai dishes taste like from a restaurant. We spent there 4 hours (less than indicated, because we were just two) and cooked 5 dishes that we ate one after the other, in between cooking. Useful tip: skip breakfast or lunch! Then you enjoy the whole thing fully :)

I did a cooking class with Noodle 3 years ago. I remembered how good it was and didn’t even bother to look up any others this visit. It was just as brilliant this time around. I especially love that each person can choose different dishes to cook based on your own likes and tastes. Noodle is friendly and clear with instructions and makes Thai cooking simple and pleasurable. Once again the food was delicious and I enjoyed every minute of this experience.

The process of making Thai food myself and eating it was interesting. The class guide was kind and the furniture was clean. However, it was not indoors, but too hot, and the amount of food was large compared to the time, so it was a pity that I couldn't eat it all.

Fabulous time cooking. It was lovely seeing and buying all the fresh ingredients and finding out about many of the foods that I had seen in markets but hadn't known what they were. The course was so informative and great fun. Lovely host and we were made yo feel very welcome. Nothing was difficult and everything was at each individuals pace. We got to cook and taste 5 courses and were provided with cold water through out. High recommend this activity.

We spent a very enjoyable morning with this cooking school. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we made 5 dishes and we left feeling very full. Suitable for both adults and children. My family and I enjoyed it very much. Fully recommend

We really enjoyed our time at yummy tasty cooking class! Root was a brilliant teacher, very friendly and funny! Made lots of dishes and found the class very good for all levels! Going to the market first to get the groceries was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend yummy tasty if you are visiting Chiang Mai!!

We are group of 6 attended to the cooking class at 24th Feb. The class begin in the morning, starting from the market. Root - one of the class assistant helped us to learnt about what ingredients using in Thai dishes. After that you have free time to walking or shopping around for a bit. After the market trip, the driver drive us back to the cooking school. The cooking school was super clean. We all enjoy the time and had so much fun. Root was so funny that made us laugh all the time! Now we know how to cook those Thai dishes. It was surprising that the dishes were not difficult. It was very easy to make and it's super yummy! After the whole class finished, you can also have a cookbook that contains everything they used during the cooking, included brand!!! I have to say I went to quite a lot of Thai restaurants in Hong Kong. But the BEST one is what they taught me, especially the Tom Yum soup!!! Thanks for Noodle accepted our special request and teaching us how to make the Thai curry crab. We all super love the way of making that kind of curry and we can put on shrimp, mussel and everything we like!!! The cooking school is inside the old town that you can just walk out and have a massage after. I am sure I will go again when I go to Chaing Mai!!!
