We had an amazing time kayaking through the mangroves with Farly and his colleagues. We went with our 4 year old and we all had a fantastic time. It was hot but we were well looked after, lots of interesting facts as well as finding animals we would not have seen if we were not with an expert to spot them! Farly really is an expert and took great care of us. What a day!

Kayaking with Farly was truly an experience. Initially, I did not think much of the whole activity, but by the end of it, Farly made the entire experience worthwhile and a must-do for those who wish for an outdoor activity in Langkawi. Farly kept the group small, so it made the entire experience very comfortable and fun. We got to see all sorts of fascinating creatures and enjoyed the breathtaking views of the mangrove swamp. We had an awesome guide, who told us a lot about nearby flora and founa and some jokes 😁 During our tour guide was doing photos of us and shared them with us after all.

The entire tour was fantastic from start to finish! Farley and his team were so friendly and helpful and made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re thinking about booking this kayaking tour, do it. My favourite experience in Langkawi (don’t waste your time on the Cable Car!) Farly was an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and organised guide. The group was small compared to others we saw go out on the water and there was a second guide too. The mangroves are beautiful, and there’s plenty of beautiful things to see. Highly recommend, and it’s well worth the $. Thanks Farly!

There were 17 pax in our group with 3 fun guides. Mr Farly, Mr Jo and Mr Adi were friendly and helpful, especially for us first-timers. Don't worry as the guides are always ensuring your safety above all. The guides were knowledgeable and shared interesting nuggets along the way. Mr Farly took lots of beautiful pics for us too! This is a brilliant way to get up close (not possible to get this close on a boat!) and learn about mangrove and the ecosystem. I loved the serenity in the mangroves - listening to the sound of nature while slowly paddling. An adventure definitely worth doing when in Langkawi!

Being able to kayak in the mangrove between a downpour and the beaming sun for 2 hours was a thrill to me. Farly and his associate were very hands on to make sure not only all of us are safe but also have a great time. Just listening to Farly’s guide, his passion for the mangrove was very evident. The great pictures were a huge bonus.

This is a must do in Langkawi, especially if you are an outdoors person and also experienced in Kayaking. It was a little tough for me being a first time novice, but if you know how to Kayak, THIS is the one you need to pick. Our guide Farly was absolutely the best! A world wide traveler himself, he was easily relating so much information, not only of the geopark and habitat, but how it fits into the world's eco system. He was extremely fun to be around, very patient, answered all our questions and quite a jokester. The experience being in the mangroves was amazing and nothing I personally had ever experienced. Even being extremely tired at the end, I was so happy I tried it. As with everywhere we went in Langkawi, the people that work and play in these places are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Just go do it!

Fantastic experience getting into middle of the mangrove Farly is a mine of information! Bats, bees, kingfisher, snakes, limestone oh and the mangrove!!

Great way to experience the mangrove jungle up close. Farly was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, delivering the tour in English, Japanese and Malay all with the same group! Saw many bats in the bat cave followed by otters, eagles and a viper while kayaking. Highly recommend.

Our guide Farly brought us through the mangrove forest, bat cave and fish farm. Kayaking was fun and so was the swimming in middle of the river. Lunch was provided. Overall great experience! Thank you Farly for taking so many great pictures for us!

I highly recommend Xtreme Langkawi's Half-Day Mangrove Kayaking adventure. Farly was extremely knowledgeable, helpful & entertaining. My husband & I felt safe and really enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the mangroves & that cannot be experienced on a motor boat.
