Coyote Canyon Adventures was one of the highlights of my trip to SMA. I originally booked an adventure for my friend and me, but my friend was unable to join due to a family emergency. I decided to go sola, and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. The view of the canyon was incredible and food was delicious. The next time you are SMA don’t hesitate booking an adventure with this company. You won’t regret it.

This is by far the best adventure I have been on in years. Since childhood I have dreamed of going horseback riding and this trip was very special. The cowboys and staff were very knowledgeable and made the trip both safe and exciting. The horses were absolutely amazing and although I have no previous horseback riding experience I was able to gallop a few times at the. bottom of the canyon. We did a trial gallop and the cowboys decided who would be safe to continue to do more galloping. The canyon was very dry after two years of drought but I could imagine what the place might look like during the rainy season. The view from the top of the canyon is very beautiful. A perfect half day tour brought to and end with a delicious and fresh home made lunch on the side of the mountain. I couldn't recommend this trip more!

Amazing experience! We went with our kids, and it’s important to note that while no experience horse riding is required, the terrain is very difficult and hilly up and down, and our kids were quite scared going down the canyon as it is quite steep. It is not a ride for the faint hearted, but very well trained horses and spectacular views!

What an amazing experience! The day was wonderful from start to finish - Our guide, June, was fun, knowledgeable + engaging. The cowboys were skilled, the horses were hale and the trail was just beautiful. The gods must have been smiling upon us, as we reached the ridge just as the solar eclipse began. June made sure we had viewing glasses... it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Well organized 1/2 day ride into Coyote Canyon. Beautiful views of an amazing canyon. Our guide Rodrigo and all of the cowboys that accompanied us and helped with the ride were excellent! Spectacular ride for mixed experience levels through a scenic canyon. Highly recommended experience in the part of the world.

Excellent all around. Our guide Federico did an awesome job explaining the culture and history of the area. He also did a great job teaching us how to ride/gallop. The horses were well taken care of and very obedient. The ride and the views were great! Also the lunch afterwards was amazing and full of local foods!

My wife and I had a great time! The canyon views were spectacular, the horseback riding was very fun, and the guides were extremely nice. The ranch meal was also VERY delicious!!

We had an absolutely incredible experience riding along, up and down the beautiful canyon with beautiful views. Our guides, Federico, Javier and Antonio were all wonderful and took great care of us during our 2 1/2 hour ride with them. They were kind, informative and professional. We would highly recommend this tour!

This was the MOST FUN trail ride we have ever been on! We are horse people and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The staff was incredible and kind, and the horses are very well trained and well taken care of. The views from the top are breathtaking, and the home cooked meal was better than any restaurant in town. If you're on the fence about this trip, BOOK IT! We took our friends who had never been on a horse before, and they too had a blast!

This was a great experience! The guides were informative making this an easy learning process for beginners and equally as fun for those with riding experience! Definitely will come back again

The ride was so much fun, and pretty challenging to boot. I'd never galloped on a horse before, and they taught us how to do it. The scenery was fantastic, and our guides were all great. Highly recommend!

I have never ridden a horse before and was somewhat skeptical, but the guides and cowboys were very attentive, thorough in their instruction, and made the trip very fun! The views were amazing, the horses were sweet, and the beer afterwards was nice and cold! I would highly recommend the horseback riding trip with Coyote Canyon Adventures!

I’ve been on quite a few guided trail rides, and this by far stands out as the best! I am an experienced rider, but went with family who have ridden only a few times before. The horses were very well trained and everyone had a great time, being able to relax and enjoy themselves and the beautiful scenery of the canyon. We got lucky and it was just our group and the guides. We were well taken care of and June captured amazing photos and videos of the experience for us. The ranch lunch was delicious and had beautiful views. Israel was a fantastic guide to the Cañada de la Virgen pyramids, we learned so much about what’s been discovered there. Coyote Canyon was overall a fantastic experience, I would highly recommend anyone visiting San Miguel to book an experience with this company!

Our guide June was perfect- she’s a talented lady, can baked a horse and knows how to show her guests a great time. The horses were perfectly trained.

The best! Able to ride with 3 generations of our family and it was equally exciting and beautiful and secure for all of us, thanks to the “cowboys” and our amazing guide!

This day was fantastic. My partner and I had not ridden a horse in over 30 years, so we were a bit nervous. After arriving at the ranch community at Coyote Canyon (about 30 minutes outside of Mexico City), we were put at ease and provided with instructions on what to expect and how to ride the horses properly and safely. We then set off accompanied by 4 or 5 rancheros (our group size was four) and our guide, Frederico, who watched us closely and corrected our form during the first part of the ride. We spent the next two and a half hours riding through the canyon --- the first half of the ride up to the top of the canyon and the second half back down the canyon and back to the ranch. The views throughout the canyon were just spectacular. The horses were so well behaved and knew exactly what they were doing the entire way. After the ride, we were treated to a traditional organic Mexican lunch. The day ended with a drive back to town where we were dropped off. Overall, a great day. I would recommend this riding adventure to anyone looking to do something different and experience the outdoors away from town for the day.

This was by far the best horseback riding tour I have done. The scenery was beautiful, the cowboys and our guides were fantastic, especially Yunuen. She was an amazing rider and guide. Highly recommend making sure she is part of your ride. Loved watching the dogs run along with us especially Wookie. Also, the lunch they provided at the family ranch was very authentic and tasty.

Visited San Miguel in January of 2024 and I can assuredly say that this was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had in my life. You ride horses, like a real cowboy, down and then back up an enormous canyon surround by some of the most beautiful country in the world. My family and I were lucky enough to do the ride in the evening so we got to watch the sunset on horseback. Then after being guided home by the most lovely and helpful guides, you get to eat beautiful, naturally sourced food made from scratch on the farm where you start your ride! Additionally, I was pretty much phobic of horses before I tried this and now my perspective on horses and riding has totally changed. A must do if your near San Miguel De Allende 10/10 Would do again in a heartbeat.
