After initially trying to navigate fez ourselves with no success (getting lost and harassed by conmen) we decided to get a private tour the next day. Abi was our tour guide. He was very likeable and knowledgable about fez and was an incredibly enjoyable tour guide. He made the tour interesting and it was far more relaxing touring the busy narrow streets of inner fez with Abi, would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting fez for safe and interesting trip around the medina, markets and tannery.

We just came back from a private tour inside the Medina with Abi. We couldn’t be more grateful to experience Fes than this. We walked around for about 3.5 hour and the tour was so enjoyable! He gave us so many insights, history and knowledge about the city and the culture, he’s also a funny guy. He took us to local places that we would be missed if we’re going by our own.

We had an amazing time with Abdul. He had great knowledge and was very friendly. He gave in-depth descriptions of the various stops and was flexible to make sure we got see everything we wanted to. He spoke great English which made it easy to ask many questions. Would recommend to all!

Abdul was super helpful and pleasant to spend the day with. My wife and I had an itinerary of places to visit in the Medina, and he led us to those places easily. He helped us ship items that we wanted from Fes to our hotel in Marrakech. He is very resourceful and would be valuable to have as a guide and as a connection in Fes.

We really enjoyed our tour with Mohamed. He was an expert around the Medina and showed us many interesting places and had a lot of stories to tell about the culture, the people and the city. It is definitely recommended to visit the Medina with a guide. Also communication and pick-up were perfect.

Abdul is an excellent tour guide. He is multilingual. He has a wealth of knowledge about Fès. He knows a lot about its history, neighborhoods, people, the Medina, and the souks. We learned a great deal and our only regret was that we had planned too short a visit.

If you're going to Fes, you absolutely need to book a private medina tour. The place truly is a maze and you will get lost (and misguided) by the locals if you're not traveling with a guide. Our guide, Abbi, showed us every nook & cranny of the Fes medina. Even though this was supposed to be a 1/2 day tour, it went way longer than that because there was so much to see. The tannery was really cool to see and you have a great vantage point of it. We could've skipped the visit to a museum that our guide dropped us off at. We truly had no interest in going (and paying the entrance feel), but our guide insisted we go. Would've much rather preferred having a lunch break during the tour, as we were STARVING by the time we finally ended around 3pm that day. But all in all, highly recommend this tour with this organizer.

When traveling, we rarely hire a guide, preferring to do some research and make our own way. The Fez Medina is huge and confusing to learn and we had limited time in the city, so we decided to hire a guide to show us around. Best decision ever. My wife and daughter and I had the good fortune to have Abdellatif as our Guide in Fez. Abdel's deep knowledge of the history and culture of his city are matched by his respect and kindness for everyone he crosses paths with. Having arrived during Eid, our experience was atypical because the medina was relatively quiet. Abdel took us to see parts of the medina we simply would have otherwise not found or perhaps walked right past not knowing what was behind unassuming walls. He shared his insight into the complexity of the city and the history of northwest Africa with pride as both an Amazigh Berber and as a Moroccan. Our day was filled with new sights, sounds, and smells, each invoking awe and more questions from us which Abdel did his best to respond to with the nuance of a philosopher. Our only regret is that our visit was so short we could not see him again. Until next time.

Our tour was great! Abdul was absolutely fantastic. He knew all of the Medina, the secret roads, cool unknown spots fun markets, and historical sites. He had answers to all of our questions and gave lots of interesting information about the city, region, and historical sites. We went to all of the must-see classic spots as well as the hidden ones that were less famous. He also too us to interesting shops and helped us negotiate prices. Overall great day tour!!

We had a fantasic walkingtour of the medina with Abdul. He speaks 5 languages, grew up in the Medina and seems to know about everyone and everything. We felt super safe with him and , while he takes you to a bunch of businesses wherethe locals explain their crafts, there is never any sale pressure. The tour is very interesting, and Abdul was also a lot of fun , knowledgable and got us a huge umbrella when it started pouring.

Abdul gave us a comprehensive, but unrushed, half day tour around the medina during which he was very attentive to our wishes. He showed us what was behind many doors that we might have hesitated to enter as well as saving time in going directly to the main sites. We were able to ask lots on questions and not to worry about finding our way back to the main lanes. I recommend the tour even if you are going to spend more time on our own in the median.
