Very enjoyable trip. Matt was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We visited three venues and had several tastings at each. Even purchased a bit to go home with us!

An amazing day out with Matt our driver/host for the day! So informative and funny as the day went on. I actually learnt so much and got to see a bit more of the Gold Coast as he took us around to different brewery's!! Thanks so much Matt!!

We had the afternoon with Matt who is a great host, very humorous and extremely knowledgeable about all things beer. We had a ripper time and can highly recommend the tour, we worth the money and time.

Went on the tour as a birthday treat from my wife. Visited 3 breweries over 4 hours and tasted 14 different beers and cider. That's about 2 litres of beer so was a bit tipsy at the end! Our guide Matt was friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to accommodate my special request to visit Madocke Brewery - owned and run by a Belgian couple who brew Belgian-style beers which are my personal favourite. Matt picked up everyone on time as scheduled and dropped everyone off at their hotels at the end of the day and even provided a birthday cake for the occasion, A must do if you want to sample what Gold Coast breweries are offering. Highly recommended.

One of the funnest things we did during our visit to the Gold Coast. Matt was fun and very knowledgeable about beer. My husband does not drink, but Matt kept him engaged during the whole tour and treated him to his first Aussie meat pie!! 100% recommend 👌

I was initially worried that a brewery tour wouldn’t suit all our guests! Well I was wrong our guide was great and made sure our experience was enjoyed by everyone! An afternoon of laughs and great drinks. I would recommend if you are thinking about it to definitely get on board!

My husband booked us on to the tour for our 1st wedding anniversary- I usually do all the booking of things in our house, so I went into this not really knowing what to expect- and now I know why I married him, we had the best day!! Meeting Matt in the first venue, Lost Palms, we met the rest of our group, another couple, and set off on our beer journey for the day! Here we had a tasting paddle and also our lunch (amazing burgers, can 100% recommend the chicken!) and also Matt educated us on the beer making process which was really interesting! Our next venue was Awol in Burleigh- a Black Hops venture. We were both so grateful for Matt taking us here- loved it! Now if you’re not necessarily a beer drinker, with their fruity sour gose range, it’s likely you’d find your jam here. We got to try all of the tap beers here and know we’ll be back with friends! The Murder Hornet (9.2%) was hubby’s favourite, while the Dark & Stormy mine- genius flavours. Final stop was Burleigh Brewing Co- hardest thing here was choosing 6 of a huge range for our paddles! Some big flavours going on! But all delicious! It was Saturday afternoon so they had live music too which made for a great atmosphere. Matt said to us that we wouldn’t need to buy anything else on the way round- he wasn’t wrong, we were very well hydrated all afternoon! It was the little touches for us that made the day even better- the water and snacks on the drive between breweries, the esky of you wanted to grab any takeaways of what you’d tried along the way, and the momento at the end that will always remind us of our day! Thank you Matt for a great day! We’ll definitely do this again when we have people visiting- perfect for all! Highly recommend!

Fantastic day. Really good value, plenty to drink, lots of great info on the brewing process and some behind the scenes insights. Met some lovely people and got home safely, always a bonus. Big thanks to Joselyn for making it a great trip. I would highly recomend this to both locals and visitors.

Had an awesome time checking out three craft breweries on the gold coast. Our guide was fantastic - fun and really knowledgeable. Half a day is ideal for this kind of tour... much laughter, great tasting beer and good times. Would do this again!

We did the half day Gold Coast brewery tour and it was fantastic. Matt is incredibly knowledgeable and educated us on all things craft beers in a very interactive and fun way. Not only did we support local business and enjoyed some incredible beer, we learned so much about the places in our own backyard, as well as about craft beer. Hop On definitely go the extra mile to make sure you're getting more than just a chauffeur from spot to spot. Matt does a lot of effort to tailor the experience to everyone involved; you definitely get your money's worth in this handcrafted experience. Couldn't recommend them highly enough to anyone who is considering something like this. We're very keen to do the Brisbane experience as well.

I was blown away by this experience – as someone who's never been a beer drinker, I can now say Matt has rendered me a surprise convert! His connections to the local beer scene, his knowledge of the brewing process and his access to the best beer in town makes this tour a must-do for those wanting to learn more about (and drink better) beer. The tour is the perfect balance of informative and fun – Matt was able to answer all my questions, and suggest the perfect 'gateway' beers for this staunch wine drinker. I particularly enjoyed visiting the new AWOL venue and meeting the head brewer. I was surprised how many great breweries have popped up across the GC. Thanks so much Matt for a great afternoon!

What a surprise!! As beer is not my tipple of choice I was a little hesitant about this tour but what a fantastic time we had. We tried a range of boutique beers at Lost Palms; Black Hops and Burleigh Brewery and I have to say I have changed my mind about beer and will now be trying a few new ones. My favourites were the Espresso Porter at LOST PALMS - girls it's like drinking a coffee martini!!!! - the Ginger Cider at Black Hops and the Wildberry at Burleigh Brewery. Can definitely recommend this tour as you will come away with a wealth of knowledge of the intricacies of brewing beer. And so good to see these small breweries doing so well in a tough market.
