We enjoyed our tour exploring the mangroves and learnt about the UNESCO Geopark on such a beautiful island. JungleWalla is an eco-conscious tour provider which was important to us. Our guide, Shafwan, was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of helpful information.

Amazing tour with great staff! I booked this tour because I am very concerned about how important not feeding animals is, but it’s not the only thing they do for the environment. The provided water is glass bottle so they can recycle it. Tourists must support this kind of tours. Also we could learn lots about the geopark, animals and Lamgkawi. We watched the animals very close and enjoyed the experience in a quiet environment. The guides and the driver made their best to show us everything with detail. Thank you so much, I really enjoyed the experience!! And I will book other tours with you when I come back. Big thank you!!!

The cruise was interesting and informative. Our boat captain navigated through the narrow channels between the mangroves at high tides to give us a closed up of the mangroves. The highlight was when our guide, Iqbal spotted the pink dolphins on our way back!

Sam was an amazing tour guide with tons of knowledge and passion for the mangroves and its wildlife. In a few hours we have seen all the hidden gems of the mangroves and you can tell they respect the wildlife and nature, aiming to preserve the area as good as possible. We have learned and seen a lot of the beauty Langkawi’s mangroves has to offer. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time with our guide Asri and our captain jamie! During the beautiful boat trip we have seen many birds (including eagles), a snake and even some dolphins! The guide explained us a lot about the nature, its history and facts about the geopark. He was well educated and it was very interesting. Overall the tour was ecofriendly - even the water (included in the tour) were given in recycable glass bottles - so just a great experience!! A recommendation for everyone!

If you're going to do a mangrove tour in Langkawi (which I highly recommend that you do..) then this is a great one to choose. For a start, it's a smaller group (about 8 of us) so there was more space on the boat, which was reasonably small - and it was easy to hear the guide talking to us all. We saw other boats which were really crowded.. it didn't look like such a special experience. I imagine they were the cheaper ones! This tour is also genuinely 'eco' .. they don't allow you to feed the animals, and they go slowly by boat through the mangroves. The guide was really knowledgable and answered all our questions. I'm glad I made this choice, it was a good one!

Fantastic morning today with JungeWalla for the Half-Day Geopark Cruise from Langkawi. Our driver and guide Azri were brilliant and the guide very knowledgeable. I learnt lots. We saw some beautiful sights and lots of wildlife including kingfisher, monkeys, mudskippers, crabs, and a snake. I would highly recommend.

The trip was amazing, views were incredible, our tour guide Alam Semulajadi was very good indeed, very knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a superb Skipper, Captain Jamie, he managed to get us into the crocodile cave with the boat whereas I noticed every other boat that followed us couldn’t get in, clearly a very experienced Skipper! My only criticism was getting onto the boat was quite difficult as the jetty was rather rickety/Heath Robinson and my wife is very nervous around Water, but other than that superb!

The 2h Mangrove-Tour with Shafwan was awesome, he explained everything so well and generally has a lot of knowledge about nature. Junglewalla takes great care not to interfere with the ecosystem so be sure to book your tour with them.

We did the Geopark tour in January - and it was absolutely wonderful - would definitely recommend it. I appreciate Jungle Walla's prioritization of nature in their tours, being the only tour that is not feeding the birds. We saw lots of different wildlife - otters, dolphin, birds, monkeys, crabs and mudskippers! But really what made the tour was our guide Vinosha, who is one of the best tour guides I've had - she interpreted the wildlife, ecosystem and geological history of the area for us in a way that made us appreciate and feel inspired by the important landscape we were in. I have no doubt that everyone who left that boat walked away inspired to be more sustainable and ecologically aware in our behavior and decision-making. I really felt inspired by and appreciated your ecological stewardship and message-sharing Vinosha! Definitely recommend :) Thank you!

The tour was absolutely amazing and exceeds our expectations! We've seen so much fauna and flora, our guide Iqbal was super helpful and he was answering all our questions and telling us a lot of really interesting stuff! He was in touch with us before the tour started and comunication with him was flawless. Crabs, monkeys, eagles, bats - Absolutely worth the money, 12/10!

Great excursion to do while you are in Langawi. At ~2.5 hours, the tour is the perfect length- not too long, not too short. Learned a lot about the mangroves and saw a ton a wildlife. Great job to our tour guide Alfie!

We booked a mangrove river cruise via Klook which was operated by Junglewalla. The cruise was made enjoyable by our guide Afie who shared information about the geopark and its history. We learnt about wild animal behaviours and how feeding them is harmful to the food chain. Also, the mangrove swamp has help reduced the impact from the 2004 tsunami. Overall it was a lovely and educational trip for us. Thank you Afie!

Fabulous experience - our first time on an eco-tourism guided tour and it was a real eye-opener. Our guide Afie gave a really clear and engaging explanation about the wildlife and natural geography of the mangrove and limestone karst region, and also how feeding the wildlife could cause ill effects to the existing ecosystem. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour for the area.
