Mike, our guide, was attentive, easy going, and knowledgeable. He made sure each member of our group was set up for success and had a great time. We will go back again and will definitely book again with this company.

The guide was fabulous - Mike Adams. He supplied everything & was most responsive leading up to the trip. I was expecting to fish from a boat but that was actually a small part of the trip. We were supplied waders to fly fish from the river. It is a very fast moving river & I just felt unsure of myself. My husband loved it & caught 5 fish with Mike’s help. It was a good overall experience but would only recommend to someone familiar w fly fishing

Mike is truly an expert and professional fisherman! He has so much knowledge about Alaska (fishing, conservation, etc.) and is willing to share with his guests. Despite the unseasonably cold weather, our party of 4 (3 adults and 1 child) had an amazing time on the river with Mike as our guide. He was very patient and took the time to explain things for all to understand (especially our 11yo son). The picture says it all! 👍

Such a blast! Mike came recommended to us by a friend of ours, and we would 100% go with him again next time we come to Alaska! He was so patient with us and really took time to explain the river and the fish we were searching for. It is also clear he has such an appreciation for the land and each fish that we caught and released. We were shocked at how much time we spent on the water- from 6am to last 2pm! Highly recommend

If you are looking for a fresh water fishing trip I 1000% recommend fishing with Mike! He was absolutely amazing with our daughters! He is so down to earth, respectful of the fish and wildlife and knows what he is doing! We watched other guides standing back and not really actively participating. Mike was in the water with us the entire time helping and encouraging us. And wouldn't you know, WE were the ones catching all the fish! If your kids are wanting to fish, this is your guy! Even if you don't, you'll have a memorable trip with Mike! Hands down the most memorable part of our entire trip!

Our favorite adventure from our trip was fishing for salmon! We weren’t sure we wanted to spend the money going with a guide service because we thought eh we know how to fish we can just rent some gear and go but no this was a whole different world of fishing! Having a guide was WELL worth it! We learned so much our guide Mike was awesome! He was super friendly and so knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, we were able to see lots of bears! I was also impressed how patient he was with my kids,it was the best day ever for my 12 year old. If your in Cooper Landing definitely check out Alaska Angling Adventures.

My family did a half day fishing tour. Mike was awesome!! He taught all of us - including me, with zero experience (and little interest) to fly fish and made sure we all had a really great time too (yes, even me, but particularly my husband and stepson). He was appropriately attentive to all of us but also let us all alone enough to enjoy the experience. We had a nice drift boat ride down the river after several hours of fishing, caught plenty which he cleaned for us, and had an excellent time.

Mike was absolutely fantastic! Definitely recommend! Beautiful trip and great conversation...and of course we caught salmon!

My 9 year old grandson and I went on a 4 hour fishing trip on Keni with Mike, our fishing guide. My grandson caught and released two rainbow trouts and I caught and released one. But the best part was when he caught a 10 pound male salmon that fed us for three days. Additionally we saw one brown bear catching salmon, three bald eagles resting and hunting on tree branches right above us, a beaver swimming by us. The river was turquoise blue color. Never seen anything like it. The best part was Mike our guide; Very knowledgeable, kind, and my grandson loved fishing with him. He filleted the salmon for him and gave it to him. Money well spent. I booked a half day Kenai River fishing trip for my husband and three adult sons. I found Mike to be a pleasure to work with. I have absolutely no knowledge about fishing never mind where to fish in Alaska. Mike clearly explained the difference between fishing the Kenai River vs Kasilof River, the various fish targeted on each river, the different styles of fishing, fishing the upper Kenai vs middle Kenai, drift boat vs motorized fishing, how fishing the middle Kenai meant I could not join my family due to the four passenger limit where I could join them on the upper Kenai, etc.. He was clear, concise, and patient as I tried to figure what tour was best for my family. Mike is willing to adapt the itinerary in order to find the fish. The day of the tour he asked to meet in a different location due to the fish not being where we originally planned. My family said Mike is friendly, he knew exactly where the fish were (as he clearly knows the river), and over all they had a great experience.

Mike was very friendly and very patient. This was our first time fly fishing or (flipping) for salmon. He helped you try to become a better angler by giving advice and working out how little changes can interfere with the technique to be successful. He even brought hot water and different drinks in case you needed to warm up :).

We scheduled a half day trout fishing trip and were lucky to get outstanding weather! Our guides for a party of six were exceptional- provided interesting points for kids site seeing. Worked hard to put us on fish. Equipment, safety and experience are all top class. Have fished with Mike Adams before and would not want to fish with anyone else. He cares for you every need and really knows his guiding work! We will be back!

Our family of four had such a blast drifting down the Kenai River and catching beautiful native rainbow trout with Mike as our guide. He is patient and professional, knows the river and where to find the fish, and is also a wealth of knowledge on the wildlife and habitat. He even brought hot chocolate for us! His decision to back-troll was perfect considering our family’s wide range of fishing skills. We find ourselves still talking about the trip now that we are back home. Wir (3 Erstangler) waren mit Mike auf Tour. Schon die Vorbereitung (Abfrage der Schuhgrößen, Treffpunkt, Bestätigung der Tour) klappte absolut perfekt. An Bord machte Maik einen Superjob und wies uns alle in die Technik des Angelns ein, so dass keiner ohne Erfolg von Bord ging. Mike ist ein sehr netter Typ, der die Natur kennt und liebt und das auch lebt.
