Absolutely number 1 on the top of our favorite experience in Alaska. Beautiful sunny blue sky warm day !! Our guide Mike was incredibly patient with us teaching us to fly fish !!! Mike answered all our “tourist” questions and we enjoyed our conversation! Wish we had booked a full day !!!! When we come back to Alaska we will definitely be contacting MIKE!!!

The company contacted me before my 1/2 day fly fishing experience to set up location and timing. We met with Brett who was our guide for the day. He was awesome. He taught us how to fly fish within minutes and got us going. He was there to help us and make adjustments throughout the day. Without him we would have not caught as much fish as we did. Between the 3 of us we caught 15 salmon. Wow. He conducted himself as a professional and knew were to take us. Huge shout out to Brett. Memories for life with my two sons. Thank you!

Did a 1/2 day trip for Sockeye on the Kasilof with Cooper Landing Fishing Guide. Only mistake we made was we didn't do a full day. The trip was outstanding and we caught loads of fish! I give the fishing 5 stars and the guide Brian, 6 stars. The fishing was a blast but what really made the trip was our guide, Brian. His passion radiated from the time we met in the parking lot at the landing to when we parted ways after our trip concluded. My wife and I took my parents with us who are in their 80's and Brian took better care of them than we ever could have imagined. Brian was awesome! My parents haven't stopped talking about the time they had and how impressed they were with our guide. If you are looking for a bucket-list salmon fishing adventure in Alaska, I highly recommend booking with this company and request Brian as your guide. Not only was he highly focused on making our 4 hours with him the best experience we could have, we really enjoyed starting a relationship with him which we intend to continue. My wife and I will definitely be back to Alaska and we will definitely be seeing Brian again. Awesome day with Brian! This guy goes above and beyond to make sure you catch fish and definitely is not a clock watcher. Our group got 12 when the bulk of people on the River weren’t getting half that. Very patient and instructive. These guys are first class!

This fishing trip was the highlight of our 9 day Alaskan vacation. Matt and Chad were awesome- very educational. The most beautiful scenery to fish in and the perfect amount of time to fish.we cannot wait to coke back and experience this again!

This group knows how to create a great fishing experience! We felt really well cared for, particularly that this group has people wear waders, which was so helpful when walking in or out of the boat, and when we were rained on for a bit. It's a beautiful area, and we plan to go back for more another time of year. Shoutout to Aaron for keeping it fun even when we were "fishing, not catching" :)

Dave Lisi and Cooper Landing Fishing Guide are amazing. My husband, son and I spent a beautiful October day on the Kenai River. Silver salmon, rainbow trout and bald eagles everywhere! We all caught some fish and Dave made sure that everyone had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to eat some Salmon we caught tonight. Best fishing day ever!! My son is “hooked”!!! Definitely a must do! It was such a great experience for my wife and I. Our guide Brian, was awesome! He is energetic and very knowledgeable about the Salmon fishing of the Kasilof River. Under his guidance we quickly (2hours!) fished our quota of salmon, he cleaned and fileted the fish and we harvested 17Lb of clean fresh fish to take home. Thank you Brian!

My wife and I continue to go out with this great bunch of folks. We did another half day trip, this time, with Mike. We started early and had the river to ourselves for much of the day. I landed a pretty nice sockey and my wife landed a really nice dolly varden. Mike with great with his teaching and good humor. They guys are professional and I highly recommend them.

I've fished on a lot of charters and rate David and Jackie's operation as one of the better ones. Everything went exactly as planned. They picked me up and brought me back to my cabin and everything in between was great. Their guide Hunter was attentive to everyone's needs and assisted those of us who had never Salmon fished before. The sockeye were just beginning their run so fishing was a little slow, however we caught some really nice fish. Great experience.

Our guide Dave was very helpful and did a great job of teaching us the proper technique. He knows a lot about the area and will do his best to give you a good catch that fits in your schedule. He did a good job of netting all our fish.

Our guide, Jeff, was very instructive and patient with mostly rookie fisher-people. It was pleasant & informative, and we even caught some fish! The scenery is beautiful.

Dave was amazing to the ladies of our group. We were 3 couples traveling & decide to do this adventure. We split up, ladies vs men. Dave was so darn patient with us. We tied the men. This was (by far) my favorite excursion I have ever taken. So much that my husband wants to come back & spend a summer here. Cooper Landing is so beautiful.

Mike is a rockstar and this company is amazing! From the first get go they were all about customer service!! I’ve never gone fishing before and Mike rowed us right up to the fish! Although we couldn’t keep what we caught, it was just so so so fun to try out hand at fishing. I didn’t want our day to end!! Mike was ab amazing guide and I would tooootally recommend this tour. Our guide, Mike, was awesome! Mike taught my wife how to fly fish (her first time) and was very patient and encouraging. Despite being early in the season, we were able to catch some very nice trout. I highly recommend Cooper Landing Fishing Guide! We will definitely be back.

Dave was awesome! My wife, sister in law and I booked a half day trip. It was fantastic. We all caught some dolly varden and saw some HUGE king salmon. Dave has a great sense of humor and really know the river. Can't wait for our next trip with these guys.

Dave is a great communicator. Answered all my questions during the booking process. Mike was my guide and he was sensational. Wasn't sure how it would feel as a female on a river with a guy I'd never met but I was comfortable with Mike as soon as I met him. It was great seeing he was excited as much as me when I caught fish. I plan to make this an annual event.

We did 2 half day trips for Sockeye. Top notch all the way around. Dave and JD were great guides, interesting to talk with, very instructive and helpful with our group of newbies, and even went ahead and put us on the fish. A LOT of fish. Cannot recommend any higher. Highlight of our first ever trip to Alaska.
