Fantastic tour. I had a dream to go to re- opened museum, and the it was really great. Mohammed is one of the best guides I ever met in different countries. My husband and I made a last minute decision to take a tour and happened to meet Muhammet just outside of the Hagia Sophia. We are so glad that we did meet him. He was kind, accommodating and very informative. His tour started before we entered and he took his time providing the history and highlights all around the mosque. He really put all of the history into perspective and he was patient as we all asked questions. He had even recommended locations for us to see on our limited time that day and gave us very detailed instructions on how to get there so we could get there efficiently and make the most of our day. If you book with him, you will learn so much.

A true small group tour with a great guide who gave an excellent description of history of the Hagia Sophia. We also got to skip the queue at opening, meaning we were first inside for some great photos.

Muhammet is an amazing guide. In spite of observing fasting due to Ramadan, he was full of energy, and he did his very best to explain a lot of details about Hagia Sophia and it’s history. Such a lovely tour guide! Before our tour started Muhammet took us to get tea at a lovely restaurant with great views of the Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. We were able to get great family photos. The whole tour was very interesting and Muhammet was great with my kids, ages 7 and 10. Would highly recommend for anyone. Give yourself extra time to explore the area with Muhammet.

We had a fantastic tour of Istanbul, thanks to Muhammet for explaining so beautifully. We walked a lot each day, discovering so much more about this historic city, I felt I came back with a part of it with me. Muhammet was very engaging with all the members of our group, remebreing everyone's name(13 of us), especially with children (mainly teens). We were on our maiden 6 day trip to Istanbul. Whilst we knew it is a big and very busy city, there was a split opinion whether to hire a tour guide or to manage sightseeing ourselves - myself being in the camp of DIY. I am glad I gave into the insistence of my family and hired tour guide Mr Mohammet Isin. We had him with us for 3 days. Every single day he would turn up ahead of the scheduled departure time, we would start our journey from the hotel and he would bring us back to our hotel at the end of the day. Our tour included lots of walking, mixed with some tram and ferry experience. Like anywhere, the best way to experience a city is walking around, which we did a lot. Muhammet had carved out a fantastic itinerary covering various landmarks and places of historical significance - Old town, Hagia Sofia, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Golden horn, Taksin area as well as the lively Asian side of the city including Kadiköy - to name a few. He has a very good grasp on the history of the city and explained in detailed. With a big smile across his face always, he is extremely patient which was evident when our group used to break out for instinctive shopping or random eating stops along the route. Overall I'm glad I gave in to the decision of going with the tour guide and were extremely happy with him. If you are in Istanbul and would like to know the city from a local's eye, reach out to Muhammet. Will I visit Istanbul again - Yes Will I use guide service with Muhammet again - Yes (but he has already covered so much in great detail) If I don't do tour guide, there are dozen other reasons to catch up with him over a meal in some local restaurant! We highly recommend his services.

Muhammet was a great guide and this was a wonderful tour. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. There's a lot of subtlety to the Hagia Sophia that I certainly would have missed by myself. If he offers other tours in the future, I would definitely sign up the next time I'm in Istanbul.

Muhammet is an incredible and knowledgeable guide. He is the best guide we had in Istanbul because he is so willing to share his knowledge of history, religion, and, of course, Istanbul. He took time out of his day to show us parts of the original city, the best views of the old city, and spent a considerable amount of time teaching us about both the structure and the history of the Hagia Sophia. Forget the guidebooks and book this tour. Muhammet makes history come alive in a thoughtful and provoking way. I cannot recommend touring with him enough.
