This was an amazing trip with Paulo. He was so much fun and so knowledgeable about wine and about the history of Malaga . When he didn’t know an answer, he would ask and get it! We saw the amazing vineyard and then went on to taste 6 wines in total. Good sized glasses too. Paulo’s wider recommendations were great too. I visited Las Palermas today and it was amazing! Would 100% recommend this trip :)

Trip to a small beautiful organic vineyard in Mijas in a small group of 7 people. After that we went to the wine cellar for wine tasting. It was really a nice trip, good guide and authentic feeling. And good wine and tapas.

Apart from an initial glitch when a couple got lost finding the meeting point, the whole tour ran smoothly. Laura our guide was professional and engaging and nothing was too much trouble. Credit to her for driving a minibus while giving us a bit of history of Malaga and explaining how wine was introduced to the area. Her knowledge and English were exceptional and the tour itself was very well run. We spent about 20mins at a vineyard and then moved on to a cellar where the wine is processed and stored. We were then given 6 glasses of wine and a generous selection of meats, cheeses and nibbles. Having then returned to Malaga it was time for a quick nap 😴

This tour exceeded expectations. There were eight plus the guide and we drove about 45 minutes out of town after supplying us with a bottle of water. Laura filled us in on the entire history of vineyard and wine owing in Spain from the time of the Phoenicians and it was very interesting. She is also a good driver. I’m a nervous passenger and I sat in the second row and do not have any issues. It was nice to see the country side. When we got to the vineyard the guide offered us sunscreen and umbrellas and I wish I had taken her up on an umbrella because the sun did beat down, even though it was a very pleasant day. I learned more about wines than I ever expected to be able to learn in a short period of time. The visit to the wine cellar was superb, with the six healthy sized glasses of wine and ample tapas paired with the wines. The group bonded after drinking all that wine and after chatting all the way back, the drive went very quickly. I did go have a nap after! This one was worth every penny and is a rare treat in my opinion! If you want to see an authentic organic vineyard and then taste really nice wines, choose this small group tour.

Great experience with Pablo as our tour guide and overall a real highlight of our trip. We brought our infant along with us, and they were very accommodating, installing an infant seat in the van and making sure we had time and space to care for our baby. We were the only people signed up for that particular time, so we got a personalized tour; this was notable since a lot of tours will cancel if they don't have enough people. It speaks to the passion of the company and guides for teaching us about the organic processes of the farm and the co-op. We met Pablo in the morning at 9 am near the Tourist office near the Malaga harbor and drove about 45 min to the farm. We then walked for about 45 min around the farm, seeing the old vines, olive trees, and almond trees. Across the road is another similar farm that uses non-organic methods in their farming, and the contrast is quite dramatic. The farm was very beautiful, and the walk itself was very peaceful after the bustle of the city. We then drove about 5 min to a nearby town where we got an extensive tour of a co-op's grape and olive processing facilities. We spent about 45 min each learning about wine and olive oil processing. This was very in-depth and both Pablo and the co-op technician guiding us were very knowledgable about each step of the process. They also pulled some "snack" olives from one of the storage containers and let us try them, which was really cool. Finally, there was a nice tasting lunch in which we tried 3 olive oils made on-site and 5 wines, with generous pours. It was amazing tasting the spice and depth of a really high quality olive oil. This was accompanied by a generous portion of tapas (meats, bread, cheese, chips) that we couldn't even finish it was so much. They even let us take the leftovers! The co-op also had a "gift shop" that was really a small grocery store, where we bought locally made products at very good prices. We then drove back to Malaga and were back by around 3 pm. When we realized we had left our phone in the van, we reached out to Rodrigo, who immediately replied and contacted Pablo, who drove back to bring us the phone. Can't speak highly enough about how responsive and helpful they were!

A perfect excursion during our visit to the Costa Del Sol. From booking to arriving back at the hotel the experience was truly excellent. Great comms from Rodrigo, first class tour guiding from Mariano, and OMG the wine by Antonio is just incredible. We learned a lot about the region, wine making, and how Antonio makes his wine particularly special. Small group meant it felt intimate and friendly, and we had plenty of time for questions, photos, wine, and lovely tapas. 100000% recommended. Leave space in your luggage for a couple of bottles too 🥂🍷

This was the highlight of our trip! We went as a couple there were two other couples on the trip. Overall we loved the experience. Our guide Laura was amazing as was the charming Argentinian gentleman assisting her (really sorry but I forgot his name). She went through the long history of Malaga as well as explaining how Antonio set up his business and the wine industry in Spain. We had a generous sample of rose, white and red wines along with a selection of tapas and snacks. After drinking some wine all we got very chatty which made the experience even better. Would recommend to people who like wine and interesting in learning more about how it is made. It was much more relaxed and chilled than my previous trip to a vineyard in France.

Traveling out of Málaga, Rodrigo, our guide, gave us an informative history of the area. The drive up to the vineyard included some breathtaking scenery. The experience at the vineyard itself (also including great scenery) was so interesting as Rodrigo taught us about viticultural processes. Then the drive to the tasting room in the pretty "white village" of Álora. We got to taste six wines (with tapas) and Rodrigo was so helpful in guiding us through the tasting. What a lovely day!

Laura was the guide for our small group (3 couples, or 6 total) and was very engaging and informative. Despite being on several wine tours before, I learned new things about the history, rules, and process of making wine in general and Spanish wine in particular. The tasting itself was very well planned to highlight the wines of the Malaga region and featured generous portions of the wine with plenty of accompanying tapas. All of the wines are available to purchase at the winery and are very reasonably priced. All this was packed into a half day tour, leaving plenty of opportunity to siesta and explore the city.

We had an amazing time with our guides Laura and Mariano. The tour was very informative and filled with pleasant surprises (even with dormant vines in February). The tapas and wine tasting left a great impression on our taste buds. We highly recommend this tour.

This was our second vineyard tour with White Houses Tours. It was amazing and it won't be our last! We wouldn't use any other company for our wine tours in Malaga Province. Rodrigo is an excellent coordinator and Laura, our guide was wonderful. The tours are great value and the wines were stunning. We enjoyed meeting the owner, Antonio, who greeted us with warm hospitality and who shared his passion for wine making with us. White Houses continues to impress us.
