Tiago was a lovely and informative guide. Sintra and Cascais were beautiful. The restaurant at which we ate was another excellent example of great Portuguese cuisine!

With so many tours to the region, you do have a choice but this tour was delivered as promised. We were promptly picked up at the hotel and were joined by 3 other couples for a total of 8 of us. Drive was easy and the van was comfortable. Note, this tour does not go into the castle at Sintra but instead takes you inside Peña Regaleira. The tour makes choices to give you a good overview of the area with the hours allocated. We did start the day with pastries at a local shop in Sintra before heading up Pena Regaleira. The grounds are lovely and Alex provided a very good overview. The gardens are lovely but you don’t really get to explore too much as that could takes day. From Regaleira we headed to Sintra proper to see the outside of the castle and the grounds. Alex being local was very handy guide to have on a busy Portuguese holiday getting us around traffic! We had lunch at a local restaurant that was packed with locals and I can see why as the food was plentiful and tasty - appetizer, entree, drinks, bread and dessert. Staff at the restaurant were attentive even on a very busy day!

We had bought this tour prior to our visit mainly because of its itinerary. The itinerary is very well planned and was executed by our guide Alex. The trip started at 8.00 am and we returned to hotel at 6.00 pm. Alex is an amazing tour guide, he is very soft spoken and informative. The people of Portugal are very nice and friendly, Alex proved us that! He took us to a local restaurant, where the food was very good, a couple in our group were vegans and Alex made sure all dietary restrictions are followed. Highly recommend this tour, so much to see and know. Sintra is a gorgeous place! Thanks so much Alex for a wonderful experience…..love and blessings….Neetu Raj Vyas

Had a great time and our tour guide Tiago and Marta (organizer) were very organized, knowledgeable and responsive. We visited many places and had enough time to be on our own to soak in the attractions and at the same time learned some history about each place. The group was the right size, which became very manageable and nimble for us to move around as a group. The restaurant where we ate for lunch was also very good, and gave the whole group time to unwind. Overall, a great experience and I recommend this tour. This was a memorable event.

trip to Sintra was excellent. Skip the line to enter the Pena Castle was great. No lineup to get in. Highly recommended. Our tour guide was very friendly and took care of everyone in the tour group. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the sites. Lunch location and food were excellent.

Our tour guide Bart was funny, informative, and insightful. From the beginning of the tour (hotel pick up) through drop off, everything exceeded our expectations. The sites you visit are beautiful and Bart provided a lot of local knowledge and history to both of the palaces you visit, along with the other towns and points of interest. The lunch that is provided while on the tour was the best my wife and I have had while on these day long excursions. The food was extremely tasty and portions were huge. Getting to Pena palace on your own looked hectic and difficult. Would highly recommend using this company and tour as an alternative. Couldn't recommend this company and tour guide enough.

We had an amazing experience and we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of things we were able to see in one day. We saw the village of Sintra, Pena castle, the well, the mouth of hell, Cascais beaches and more. Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable, kind and funny, he made our tour even better! We would highly recommend booking this tour to get the most out of your day and the lunch was amazing as well. Overall a great experience and would do it again!

We enjoyed every minute of our ten hour tour! Bart was excellent- a skilled driver, knowledgeable guide, easy-going personality and thoughtful leader. We appreciated the small, friendly group and each of the sites and stops we made throughout the day. We highly recommend this experience.

Sintra, Regaleira and the path going into the town of Sintra where our guide Alex explained in detailed what we were seeing. It was a memorable tour. We were a group of 8 people and Alex took the time to take pictures of all of us. We had a fabulous day plus an excellent lunch with time to enjoy. Memorable experience.

It was a great tour, we got to see so much! Our tour guide Bart was amazing, he had a great personality and was very knowledgeable! My husband and I truly enjoyed the tour and would certainly recommend it!

We were a group of 7 and Alex was our tour guide. He was great and gave us a lot of information about the sites we were visiting. Everything we did on the tour was a wonderful experience, from grabbing a bite at Piriquita a family owned pastry shop in Sintra to the tour of the beautiful palaces, the lunch at a town restaurant and visiting Cabo da Roca. We enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend this tour company!

Our guide Alexander (Alex) was outstanding. He explained everything in each stop we made. He took pictures, gave us time to enjoy ourselves. We were a group of 8 and he made us feel at home. He was informative and attentive. He also took us to a great typical restaurant. He is the best. Highly recommend this excursion.

Even with a full schedule of stops, events, and lunch, Bart made everything go smoothly. Some of the ticket buying could have gone a little smoother, but we were never delayed. (Marta, Bart wants to drive your Porsche 😉)

Bart, our very knowledgeable guide, was also fun. Lunch was a highlight and we highly recommend it. You won't need dinner plans that night!
