Trevor our Guide was friendly and knowledgeable and willing to adapt to whatever was happening around us. We would do it all over again with him. He reflected and shared his personal experiences from guiding that helped us get an overall picture of the falls in different seasons. Even he seemed to be overwhelmed by the majesty of the falls.

Bonani was a fabulous guide - lovely to chat to. We debated having a guide - but do not regret the tidbits of info and a glimpse into local life as told by Bonani.

There was a misunderstanding with the hotel pickup location, the driver was more than 1 hour late. The owner and the driver apologized for the mistake and we were upgraded into a private guided tour. The driver/ tour guide went above and beyond after the walking tour of the falls that took us to the rainforest to view the Cataracts, Livingstone’s statue, we saw variety of birds, baboons and plants; we were driven to the restaurant for lunch, to the town center for shopping and to the church for the Good Friday mass before dropping us back to our hotel. Great excursion. Trever, our driver and tour guide, was great. At the end of the Victoria Falls beautifully planned part, he arranged our lunch in the Lookout restaurant, and Zip line jump for our kids. Perfect day all around!

We were taken around Victoria Falls by a very informative guide .He was also aware of our safety as some of the paths were slippery. He sheltered us from the spray of water with an umbrella.

As October is low water level in the Zambezi we selected visiting the Zimbabwe side only. It was spectacular. We were picked up in Livingstone on time, taken to the Zimbabwe Border. We had Kaza visas. The driver handled the border checks and a new driver took us the 500m to the park entrance. We paid the 50$/pers fee and then, accompanied by a competent guide we visited the series of viewpoints looking at the huge falls. A 2h tour that was truly outstanding. Easy walking. Highly recommended.

The falls were absolutely spectacular but our guide , although very sweet had absolutely no knowledge to impart about anything of any interest about the falls. You don’t need a guide unless it’s someone who actually knows something about the place !!

This tour was well worth it. The guide was friendly and very accommodating. We were picked up at the hotel and brought back safely. We also had lunch at the falls.

We contacted Intondolo tours via WhatsApp and got a very quick response within minutes (even though it was late hours for them). I specified what our needs were, which is group of 4 located in Zambia side needing guided tour of Victoria Falls Zimbabwe side with transportation to Gorge Swing and a lunch spot. It was also included to take us to Elephant's walk, but we did some shopping by the Falls and decided to pass. Communication with them was clear and easy via WhatsApp. Payment was easy via online. The cost of the tour included transportation from our hotel and back, assistance across the border, guided tour of the Falls, and a stop to a massive baobab tree. It did not include entrance fee into the Falls or the visa fee to get into Zimbabwe (for US Citizen). However, keep in mind that this was clearly outlined. Most tours do not include these fees. I would recommend asking clearly before settling on a price. Though it is possible to hire transport to the bridge, get the visa, go through immigration office, walk across the bridge, and then hire transport to your other destinations, I would say hiring Intondolo tours was worth the price and peace of mind to have someone help you through the process. I also did not see cabs for hire by the border when we crossed, so I am not sure how easy it is to get a cab once across. We had always planned to go into Zimbabwe from Zambia, and our research had suggested you could buy a KAZA Univisa at the airport, but that is not the case. You should have US Dollars to purchase the visa at the border even if you don't hire a guide. All in all, the day was wonderful, and our minds were at ease to enjoy the Falls.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Walked us to all of he points and took pictures of us. I would suggest renting Sandals or crocs if you don’t have the proper foot gear ($3 is cheap). But we were guided out of the park after our tour and wished we would have had more time to spend inside. Keep in mind the fee you pay to get into the park does not allow reentry.

The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, the driver that picked us up Yandie was very friendly and accommodating, would happily drive with him again.

Although you could do this walking tour without a guide, we found that Trevor‘s knowledge of the history of the falls, and the various places where you can view them to be particularly interesting. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a bit more than just a self guided experience.
