Not only is Saber an extremely knowledgeable and experienced guide, he is a lovely person who has a good sense of humor, is smart, thoughtful, and is clearly passionate about the Medina, Tunis, and his work. Our family learned a great deal about the architecture, function, and history of the Medina. We highly recommend Saber and his Medina tour. We enjoyed every moment of our afternoon with Saber! Definitely take his tour!

Saber provided an excellent historical introduction to Tunis. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and knows his stuff ( in five languages!) We learned, laughed, and had a fabulous lunch. He was flexible and patient. He comprehensively described how to get to our meeting point from the port, afterwards personally phoned and spoke to our taxi driver to ensure a safe return to the ship. A group of Aussies with little French and no Arabic, we were delighted with our experience.

Saber is an excellent guide -- knowledgeable, funny, interesting, and patient. Because of his experience and deep contacts in the Medina, we were able to see and explore sights that aren't available to the unguided traveler. He paced the tour beautifully, and we got to see some amazing interior spaces, along with rooftop views of Tunis. Along the way we learned so much about the history, culture, and architecture of the city. Saber's tour is a great introduction to the Medina and is highly recommended.

Increble time in Tunis! If you visit Tunis by cruise ship and have only one day to see around, I strongly recommend to ask Saber to guide Medina plus Carthage with all transfer from the port included. It's far better than the crouded excursion tour. 大型クルーズ船でチュニスに寄港したのですが、船のツアーは大型バスでゾロゾロと名所を回るだけなのに対し、Saberの個人ガイドではチュニジアの歴史や地理について詳しく説明してくれつつ（英語）、混雑を避けて効率的に回ってくれ、遥かに質の高い観光ができました。今回、当初のメディナ巡りだけでなく、港までの送迎付きでカルタゴ遺跡を車で回るツアーに変更してもらった（追加料金あり）のですが、変更して良かったとつくづく思います。遺跡だけでなく、地元のスーパーに寄ったりクスクスレストランに連れて行ってもらう（食べている間、ガイドは別場所で休憩）等のアレンジもしてもらい、滅多に訪問できないチュニスを最大限に楽しみました。

Our guide, Saber, was amazing in every respect. His knowledge of history was that of a scholar, not only of Tunis, but of other countries as well. Saber’s enthusiasm and cheerful personality kept us engaged and paying close attention throughout our 4 hr tour. He not only answered our questions, but asked us questions also. We enjoyed the challenge and really appreciated his sincere caring for his country and our experience in his country. Saber was keen to ensure we were enjoying everything and he paid close attention to our interests. Near the end, Saber recommended a very nice restaurant for lunch that was perfect! We really wanted true Tunisian fare with nice atmosphere and reasonable price. Fondouk el Attarine was a winner. Saber also ensured we knew our way out of the market to the ideal spot for arranging a ride home. We highly recommend Saber’s private tour. It’s well worth the small cost. I wish I would have tipped him 3 times the amount I gave. Sadly I didn’t have that in cash at the time. THANK YOU SABER. It was a wonderful experience!

Saber took us around the Tunis medina and shared with us so much useful and interesting information. He also helped us with external matters, like telling us where to find taxi services to other towns in Tunis. Saber was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Our guide Saber was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and extremely interesting. Among many languages he speaks perfect English and I would highly recommend him for any tour in Tunisia. We are fortunate to have met and had him as a private guide.

This tour changed my entire view of the Medina, and what goes on there. Pprior to the tour, I thought the Medina was a series of shops, mostly souvenir shops, and some food stands. After the tour, I realized it was an entire community unto itself, with beautiful homes, clusters of craftsman working together, worship centers, and lively trade, as well as all of the shops and restaurants with which we are more familiar. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable on the Medina as well as the surrounding area, and he gave us an excellent overview, as well as a lot of detail on many different things that we would have otherwise never known or experienced. He also gave us the opportunity to interact with some of the local artisans in the area and he explained a lot of the history on how the Medina originated and how it became to be what it was today. He also took us to an was able to an incredible viewpoint and he was a good photographer, gladly willing to take pictures for us. Another thing that our guide did well was to help us navigate through the Medina without being overwhelmed by merchants, trying to sell their goods. Even when he showed us different craftsmen and their merchandise he was always good about making sure that we didn’t feel like we were getting pressured to buy. I will say that the tour ends with a visit to a perfume store, where they demonstrate how to make the perfume and you feel a bit cornered there to make a purchase, so that was the one exception, so just be aware of that.does that make a purchase so just be beware of that. But overall it was a fantastic experience with a knowledgeable and helpful guide.

Saber was extremely efficient. He planned a terrific tour, his communications pre, during and post were excellent, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I would not recommend navigating the Medina solo unless you are familiar with the area and highly recommend taking this educational and inspiring tour.

Do this tour with Saber! He was able to easily balance a tour with multiple languages without it dragging. His knowledge of the Medina was that of a long time resident, as he revealed secrets that made us feel we were experiencing something special. Any questions posed were answered with thoughtful responses, and he always took the time to make each of us feel welcome. My wife and I would not hesitate to take a tour with Saber again!
