Our tour guide, can’t remember his name, was amazing! He was so kind and encouraging for first time paddle boarders. He was also so knowledgeable about the native wildlife and invasive species. Because of him, I’m so excited to make paddle boarding my hobby!

Our guide (Michael) was super helpful in getting all of us first timers set up on the paddle boards. He was encouraging and gave useful tips to even our youngest paddler (age 6) who was a little nervous about standing up. The Waccamaw river was quiet and peaceful. We definitely will be back for more paddlboarding with Jacks on our next trip to MBSC!

Our guides were Angela and Casper. They were friendly , patient, and informative. We all loved the experience, and the scenery was breathtaking. I highly recommend the trip. It was a highlight of our stay and a great value!

Wanted to do a relaxing excursion with the family and decided on paddle boarding on the Waccamaw River. Mike and Casper were our guides and cool dudes that made everyone at ease. The weather and conditions were perfect for July and there weren’t any skeeters. The only thing that might turn folks off is the location. The meeting point was at the landing at the river that was at a dead end. It was a bit rural and we were early, so we weren’t sure of the location. But it turned out just fine.

Learning to paddle board was a fun and unique experience. Michael, our guide was fun and insightful.

It was very peaceful. There was another couple with us. The weather was perfect. The guide did a great job.

It was excellent. The tour guide was very informative. My photographer was even better. The whole experience was so good.. I would do it again in a heart beat!

We had a great time out on the river. We had a little trouble finding the starting spot but that’s a GPS problem not Jack’s fault. This was a great time to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and do something relaxing. We highly recommend this tour!

A simple booking has turned into hassle for myself. I booked this tour, however, the day before I was contact to be told that it would not be going ahead due to unavailability of staff. I was offered an alternate date but I was unable to do that. I am still waiting for a full refund of the monies. Trip advisor are saying they haven't been notified by the supplier that it was cancelled and the supplier is saying they have notified trip advisor. I quite frankly don't care and would like either party to resolve!!!!!!!!!! oh and pay my phone bill from the UK to the USA for the displeasure of having to deal with people that are robots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guide should INSTRUCT on paddleboard use, as we were novice to the sport. And she LEFT US on the river, alone, nowhere in sight, for over 30 minutes. The water is deep, murky and claimed to have snakes and other possible reptiles. It was terrifying to be on your own - with no guide in sight - no other people around. Was exausted from the anxiety- will NOT reccomend.

It was my first time paddle boarding and I liked the calm river. Evening time was great to go. My only complaint was that I would have liked a double paddle as it was hard to keep switching hands.

The trip down the river was so beautiful and relaxing. Daphne, our guide, was really cool- she pointed out things of interest, but also took part in our conversation and banter. The starting point was tricky to get to because of a traffic delay that day- and text communication was simple and responsive. They were very accommodating as we were going to be a little late- and then we weren’t even the last ones there, two groups showed up after minutes after we did. Thank you for being flexible!!!

This was the first time on a paddleboard for everyone in our family. It was a fun adventure. 2 hours of paddling was a lot for our first time (portions against the wind an current), but it was well worth it. Our guide was fantastic and very helpful.

Was a beautiful afternoon riding on the river! Barely any other boats, just peaceful nature. So fun!

It was a relaxing, comfortable afternoon paddle on the river. We were not rushed, and were able to paddle along at our own pace, while still staying with the group.

They were great, got to know each member I the group. Very personable. Great experience, would do it again!

If this was all about the paddleboard tour itself it would easily be five stars. However communication with the company that provides this tour is quite simply horrendous. They stated they would contact me on the departure information however after two text messages and two voicemails they never responded. I kept calling and calling and finally 30 minutes before the tour was supposed to start they answered the phone and I got directions of where to go. Now for the review of the tour, the place is absolutely beautiful the guide was fabulous and we had a great time.
