Matic our guide was friendly and grounded like so many Slovenians we met last week. There was only the two of us plus Matic as it was off season so we were given direct info and instructions in a personal manner. The experience on the river canoeing was fantastic. The day was sunny and warm but the water was cold. We went through 3 or 4 grade 1 or 2 rapids which looks worse than it is and actually was the most fun part. Slovenians are laid back so be prepared to ‘go with the flow’. If you are expecting meticulous disclaimers and H&S training you may feel dissatisfied but personally I prefer the trust element and having faith in well intentioned experienced guides. The Soca river is a beautiful alpine river and the water is turquoise and pollution free. I drank a small amount on the way down. Matic was informative about the surroundings as we passed through waterfalls, mountain views and shifting river formations. His colleague (Chez) - sorry I may have your name wrong was cheery and eager to chat. I would recommend these guys and I would come back another time. April/ May is probably the best time as they said the river gets full of recreational traffic during the summer months. Duncan

Great experience - Soka river in kayak. Clear instructions given before the start and all equipment provided from head to toes!! The guide, Matic, is very professional, knowledgeable and experienced. Crystal clear water and surrounding mountains, beautiful! Had fun, enjoyed and relaxed.

We had a great experience with our guide Diego, who was really passionate about Kayacking. and the area. Although we had never done Wildwater Kayacking before, we have never felt unsafe, but it was just a lot of fun to ride the waves. The stunning beauty of the nature of the river and valley completes the exceptional experience.

Beautiful and fun tour. Our guide Spela was lovely and felt very safe while on the tour. I was having an issue with my lower back and they worked with me to make some adjustments to make it safe and comfortable. Highly appreciated and would definitely recommend!

One of our highlights in Bovec. Very friendly and cool team. They even picked us up at our hotel in Bovec after asking. If you want to do a rafting tour, do this one.

We spontaneously booked a kayaking tour for the next day without knowing what to expect. The tour turned out to be excellent. After a brief orientation by our outstanding guide, Matic, we were off and kayaking. We had a lot of fun and would definitely do it again with Aqua Tours Bovec.

What a tour! The best activity during our 12-day stay in Slovenia. Matic was an excellent tour guide who made us feel comfortable in the kayak straight away. A great instructor but also a lot of fun to paddle with. The scenary is amazing and so is the clear water. We could easily enjoy this tour a number of times. Thanks!

The trip was amazing! We had a little adventure time on the Soca and our guide Spela made us feel safe in our small group and we had a lot of fun together! Absolute recommendation!

Excellent experience with the family. Very adventurous. Spela, our instructor was very patient and gave extra attention to those who needed it. We started from real beginners and ended up not wanting to get out of the water anymore and kayak more (we did the next day)

Six stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This tour was a highlight of our trip to Slovenia and Croatia. Our guide, Flo, made it so much fun, and easy even for me and my husband who have only kayaked on calm lakes before. We were fully outfitted (wetsuits, water shoes, helmets) which took away any concern of falling out of the kayak. The Soca valley was absolutely stunning and the water was crystal clear. We met some great people from Spain and Germany and shared a drink with them after the tour. Flo took lots of great photos and shared them with us. Thanks for an AMAZING time Flo!
