Ian was recommended by a friend on our recent world cruise. We are so glad that we followed his advice!! Ian responded quickly to our request and set up our Cape Point tour. He kept us updated prior to our arrival and was waiting for us on the dock when we arrived. What followed was an amazing tour of Cape Town and Cape Point, and all the areas in between. Ian was very friendly, quite informative, and very willing to make changes in the basic itinerary, if we saw something that looked interesting. I cannot say enough about how comfortable he made us feel. We had a beautiful sunny day, and the various stops along viewpoints were simply magnificent. Our adventures at Cape Point, Boulder Beach, the winery and everywhere else made it a trip to remember. Ian didn’t just take us to an attraction and drop us off, he accompanied us the entire time, providing additional color and insight into the beautiful sites we were seeing. We were only in Cape Town for a few days and wanted a tour that got the most activities in...and THIS WAS THE ONE. Ian is an exceptional guide..funny and knowledgeable. We had some rain at the start and end of the tour but it didn't matter as we still got to see all the sights. Ian's timing of the attractions was great as when we stopped at different places it wasn't crowded or full of other tours so we were able to take our time and take in the breat taking scenery. This tour has it all. I loved all the animals we saw along the way..baboons, ostriches, penguins,a dassi and peacocks! Funusyed off the day with some beautiful wine tastings. You should definitely do this tour!

This tour was everything and more! Ian did an amazing job showing us around all the beautiful beaches, cliff sides, and scenic areas we didn’t even know existed. We had so much fun taking pictures (he is also an excellent photographer), feeding ostriches, visiting the cutest penguins, and had an amazing lunch followed by a visit to a local winery. Ian is extremely knowledgeable and fun to be around for the day which is a bonus. Thanks so much Ian for showing us southern girls around, we loved it!

My husband and I really enjoyed our day trip with Ian. In spite of some variable weather, the tour and sites didn’t disappoint and we particularly enjoyed the Cape of Good Hope, Chapmans Peak and Boulders Beach (penguins) and the wine tasting., Ian was friendly, informative and considerate. It was a perfect tour and we would highly recommend!

Just finished an outstanding day tour with Ian. Ian was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a brilliant time just chatting with him about averting from history, politics and culture. The tour itself was perfect in every aspect. Before the day ended we were desperately looking for slots in his schedule for another tour! And to top it all off he takes amazing photos!

Spectacular Day at Cape of Good Hope with African Moon Adventure. Ian, our tour guide was amazing. We saw Cape Town's beautiful coastline from Ian's viewpoint. We were picked up from the hotel, The Westin introduced to Ian, and began our tour of Cape Town. Our tour started at 8 am and ended at 4 by that time Ian had become our friend. Ian shared with us the history of Cape Town, his great sense of humor, and his sights. We visited the Cape of Good Hope, climbed to the top of the lighthouse, visited the famous penguins, and enjoyed a great lunch with Ian at a wonderful seafood restaurant. Ian was absolutely wonderful, and at end of the day, he had become family.

My wife and I had a fantastic day out with Ian around all the sites of cape of good hope, cape point, boulders beach, chapmans peak etc too many beautiful stops to include them all. Ian was always engaging and informative throughout and very professional and has a great sense of humour and makes a nice tea or coffee. Even our lunch stop was the best , beautiful food and good company. I could not recommend Ian highly enough, thanks for a great day out, very much appreciated.

This is the absolute best tour to take in Cape Town! Ian is incredible and provides so much history about the area while driving from location to location. We learned just as much as we saw- and it was a relaxing and fun experience! I would highly recommend to anyone to take this tour, it is the best way to see all of Cape Town in a fun interactive and educational experience!

We had the pleasure of Ian as our guide around Cape Point who was very knowledgeable and personable. As I was keen to see the penguins at Boulder’s Beach, Ian flexibly altered our itinerary so that we could see them first. His vast knowledge covered the array of different wildlife, history, points of interest and of course wine too! This he shared in a really engaging and interesting way. Ian’s passion and enthusiasm was evident with him joining us in taking photos and kindly offering to snap some souvenir shots for us - something we’d forget otherwise. Our African Moon adventure out with Ian exceeded our expectations and we would strongly recommend a trip with him. If we’re fortunate enough to return to South Africa, we would definitely book another trip with him. Thank you Ian for filling our day with incredible memories!

Had booked with Ian in 2017 and when I came back this time around, booked with him again. Even though I had done the tour before, it was memorable and good enough that I wanted the friend I took this time to have the same experience. We both enjoyed it and had a good time and a lot of fun. Definitely recommend. Ian was very responsive and tailored the tour to our needs and what we wanted to see and do.

Ian was incredible! Not only did he provide a comfortable van for my family and I, but he also provided friendly conversation and information throughout the tour! He was flexible to our special requests and supported a few of our additional requests throughout our day.

Ian was the best tour guide we could ask for! He set the bar so high that we regretted not booking the safari trip with him. Ian told us a lot of interesting information about the area and was just real fun to hang out with. He showed us places with gorgeous, scenic views where we took lots of beautiful pictures. He picked a delicious spot for our lunch and we really enjoyed tasting wine with him. The tour was amazing and we highly recommend it!! Ian is a top class tour guide! Friendly, fun, and knows his stuff as well. He could not have been kinder in making sure we got the pictures we wanted, all from the amazing vantage points he took us to. The van is super comfortable, and the availability of cold bottled water was key to our trip as it was quite hot. Tea and coffee by the Cape of Good Hope was lovely, as were the biscuits (😜 ), and the Ostrich farm was fun as well. The lunch we had was especially good, great fish and chips! The penguins were brilliant, and we saw lots of them. Then finishing up at the winery was a relaxing end to the day. I would 100% recommend this tour to everyone who wants to get down through the Cape and see many of the highlights available.

We were delighted with Ian. He did a great job narrating while driving with great care. Truly a professional. He provided the little extras such as making coffee and tea out of the back of the van at the Cape of Good Hope. He arranged for us to jump the lengthy line at the Penguins and then stood in the line himself to pay the fees. The previous day, we did the Buffelsfontein Private Game Reserve tour. Ian chooses this location because there are zero tour buses there. We got up close to the animals and have great photos thanks to Ian. If you are planning a trip to South Africa, I would unconditionally recommend my new friend Ian Renecle.

Ian is a great guide that took us around the Cape to discover more about this beautiful region! He drove us through Chapman's peak before we went to the 'Cape of good hope', to feed ostriches, to see the penguins and at the end wine tasting. Thanks again for this amazing day!

A fantastic tour with a great host. The day was planned to perfection with nothing being too much trouble for our host, Ian. Lots of care was taken by Ian to make sure that the day was special for us. I cannot recommend this enough.

This was a great experience. My wife and I were the only people on the tour this day so Ian wanted to cater the tour to whatever we wanted. He has great knowledge of the area and is a lot of fun to spend the day with. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town.
