We had a great experience with our guide, Rick. He was really friendly and knowledgeable about the valley. Everything felt really intimate and a great experience.

We had an amazing time! We visited so many beautiful wineries and our driver, Sergio, was kind and informative! Valle de Guadalupe is stunning, up-and-coming, and truly a beautiful location for great wine.

Eugenia was the most incredible guide! The tour was personal and we loved the vineyards so much we may make it our wedding venue!

Eugenia provided us a fantastic tour of Guadeloupe Valley. She took us to a mixture of boutique and larger wineries so we could get a perspective of the breadth of offerings. We highly recommend her and are setting up another tour in August with her.

Absolutely loved our time with the Wine Route! We ended up using this tour company for two days, day 1 was a private tour, and day 2 was with a big group. I couldn’t have asked for a better wine tour experience in Guadalupe! Their tour guides speak both English and Spanish so you can select your preference when booking. Luigi and Eugenia are absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable about the area, and so fun the spend the day with! They were even able to set us up with a driver to pick us up from the border and take us to our hotel in Guadalupe. HIGHLY recommend this tour company; I definitely plan on using them again!

Highly recommend this wine tour if you’re visiting the Valle de Guadalupe. Our tour guide picked us up at our Airbnb in Ensenada and took us to four preselected wineries. She was very knowledgeable about the valley and all the wineries we went to were great! Highly recommend if you’re staying in Ensenada for the weekend!

Fabulous experience! Coordinated with Eugenia ahead of time and she created a great customized itinerary for us based off of our tastes, some recommendations, and suggestions of her own. Communication was easy. Ricardo was our driver and he was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, knew the roads well, took great care of us, made sure we were on time for our scheduled activities, and provided friendly service throughout the day. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Valle de Guadalupe. Our experience would not have been the same had we driven ourselves around. Booking this tour allowed us more freedom and allowed for more fun. 10/10!

True hospitality still lives in this wine region. Like in Sonoma many years ago. They are ready to share with you a taste of their wines and answer your questions without charging you $$$ first

Best way to spend our day! Eugenia made our trip memorable and took us to a few of the nicest wineries. The cherry on top was the amazing restaurant she recommended. We really enjoyed our time and definitely recommend the tour!

Eugenia was easily the highlight of our cruise and a (too) short visit to Ensenada. She was incredibly accommodating, friendly, informative, and fun. She made my group and I feel very welcomed and safe during our tour throughout the beautiful wine country. She selected four AMAZING and unique vineyards for us to visit, and we enjoyed each of them so much, it was nearly impossible to pick a favorite. But... maybe it was ATP and Fam (definitely ask to go there if it isn't on your itinerary). Not to mention, she filled our free time with a brief tour of the cultural center, took gorgeous pictures of my group, and included a cheese tasting stop at a nearby local store. She was patient as we tried to speak Spanish and helped us have the most memorable vacation. Please, do yourself a favor and book this trip. I promise you won't regret it!

My wife and I had longed to tour Guadalupe Valley ever since watching the Rick Bayless TV program spotlighting Baja wines and cuisine. We finally had a chance during a stopover in Ensenada on a cruise. I highly recommend The Wine Route as they were reasonably priced for a private tour and our guide Eugenia was both knowledgable and very accommodating throughout, adding an extra winery visit because our schedule allowed it. It was truly a wonderful time and we were able to bring home some lovely bottles. The tour focused on smaller producers and because we visited mid-week we were often the only people at the tasting room which made for an even more intimate experience. Because of all the rain, the valley was also a resplendent green which added to the spring beauty of the experience.
