This is was a great experience led by a great and knowledgeable guide in Bernice. It was fascinating to see the ruins and hear the story about the people who used to live there. It was also very enjoyable to see the museum and all of the interesting information and artifacts inside.

This was an amazing trip. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We loved the restaurant that they took us to after the tour. It was an amazing venue right on the lake.

Knowledgeable and sweet guide…. Gave the extra cultural touches. There just wasn’t enough “meat” in the tour to be 6 hours.

The round pyramids are unlike any others anywhere! The location, between Tequila Volcano and the lake, were beautiful! The interpretive center was great too. Afterwards had lunch, at a great restaurant right on that same lake- with egrets and herons all around, fishing. A beautiful end to a lovely day!

Herman was a great tour guide. He gave us a lot of information about the pyramids, plants, and history of the land. The museum is small with replicas but has a great video that explains the land. The tour ended with a stop for lunch that had a good view and delicious food.

The scenery was beutiful,the feeling there was peaceful. Our guide was very knowledgeable.it was a wonder to see what was there and how it was restablished for us to see

The tour guide! She made the round pyramids more interesting ! She was such a very knowledgeable guide and took the time to explain history and made us feel comfortable and was very accommodating. She made sure we were feeling fine all the time despite the hot sun. Next time we are in Guadalajara, we will make sure that she is our guide again.

Hard to believe that artifacts like this are a short drive away from Guadalajara. Very nice visitor center and the rounds pyramids are amazing in person. Guides were very friendly and offer English and Spanish tours.

Great day! Ramon was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and excited to share his love of Guachimontones with us, explaining different theories about the site's features. I went solo and there were just three of us in total, so it was like a private tour! Communication and pick up/drop off was smooth and easy. Highly recommend.

Worth the trip. Probably more scenic if visit during the rainy season in June when it is probably green.

My wife and I enjoyed our tour to Guachimontones. We appreciated receiving an email confirmation the day before our tour regarding the time of our hotel pick up. Ramon was our guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating. Thank you. We learned a lot about the site, and the people that constructed the pyramids.

Great experience. This site is well worth the drive. Museum has artifacts and educational material well displayed and there is a short movie available in English or Spanish. My guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and patient with questions. A bit of a hike up to site, take water and breaks as needed. Amazing views of surrounding area from site. Well cared for grounds with few people there on a Wednesday. I understand it gets crowded on the weekends. Great option for some outdoor activity and learning more about ancient indigenous peoples of the area.

They left without me and changed their pickup destination and location , the booking stated clear location and instructions which I followed, the booking indicated to be picked up I would have to contact them to schedule my pickup, I followed directions and they left without me, the agency said I was at fault since they changed pick up time and destination since those being picked up were less than expected and that is why they left early, this was their excuse for me being left waiting at 9:30 at plaza del sol only to be told I missed an early departure. Please refund me the tour.

Guachimontones was a unique experience into the Mesoamerican history of Jalisco. I enjoyed the educational video at the museum and walking around the archeological site. Estacion Turistica GDL was thoughtful and attentive to all tourists.
