We made a tour yesterday to Areni and Tatev Monastery and we knew Hyur from tours we made some years ago - we were never disappointed. Marina was our guide and not only did we get a lot of Information about our destinations and Armenia, but also the organization was perfect; she cared a lot about our group (in Russian and English, and both languages were treated equally). Levon was our driver and armenian roads (in the mountains with snow!) can be tricky. We felt safe all the time, even when the sun was down! So big thanks to both and we knew, why we booked for the second time with Hyur.

I was looking forward to this trip so much, after seeing especially the photos of tatev monastery from a nearby viewpoint. The trip there was extremely long (we expected that) and we made a few stops along the way (winery and waterfall - nice, but nothing special - might be because we have amazing wine and waterfalls in our country already). But the big disappointment was that they dropped us off at the monastery, just 1km from the viewpoint and never took us up there (only inside the monastery). I saw photos of groups from up there so I kind of expected it. In the end we ended up paying a taxi driver (the walk would be too dangerous and we wouldn't have the time due to the tour schedule) 10€ to take us up there for 2 minutes and back to the monastery. So basically we didn't get the best part from the tour but from a taxi driver in 30-year old car, for which we were lucky it was waiting there.

It was awesome! We saw we were there in July. Our guide name was Sunny and OMG she is soooooo awesome. She was telling a lot of during the ride and on the locations. She had awesome presentation, she read poetry and even singed the song!

The group size was too big (50 people). The guide spilt the tour between Russian and English which made it hard to follow. Good information, but no personality, very dry. Driving was a bit crazy. Lunch was not until after 1430 and not good…food was cold when it was finally served.

Overall a lovely day trip from Yerevan. The highlight was the ropeway and Tatev itself was fascinating because of its history. Only negative was that you feel a little bit rushed in places like the shaki waterfall. The guide Mariam was super enthusiastic and extremely informative throughout the tour. Loved the cold water bottles and wifi onboard available throughout the trip.

It was a great day trip we had with Mariam, our passionate guide who explained everything very clearly and Ara our driver. Thank you!

A little bit disappointed with the lunch and winery. Because lunch was a chicken shashlik and is was dried and stiff, to be short do not expect to much from it, and this is fit also to winery, you cannot make a photos, and see how wine is get produced in details, only info about kegs, few topics about general rules and look how it was spilled to the bottles. But Breathtaking view of the nature, exciting ropeway trip, professional driver Levond will make you comfortable (scary sometimes, on a mountain’s serpantines) and guide Erevand will make you smile, because of some cool and interesting history facts, contextual and clever jokes, and very good tour schedule. Resume: it was worth it!

Spectacular tour. Our guide Tatev and driver Spartak were great! Just be ready for the long drive. And lunch could be better. Otherwise everything was top notch.

Great thanks to guide Vardui and driver Araik for excellent trip. The Shaki waterfall was beautiful, Hin Areni's interesting, Tatev Wings're amazing, but the best memories left our guide and driver. Vardui's amazing, her telling made us love Armenia. It wasn't just facts, but interesting stories, which allow us to feel how great was this country. Vardui was very empathetic and told us unusual stories from the past every minute. Big thanks to Araik, who drove us through scarring serpentine, I felt that he's very experienced drive. Bus was new and comfortable. I was in many one day bus trips, but this was one of the best.

Tatev was the highlight or this tour but honestly I would recommend going to Tatev it with other destinations. The wine tasting was underwhelming and the wine itself not rich in flavour but the tour company was professional and the bus wasn’t bad.

We booked a total of 4 tours with Hyur. Payment was made online. We did the Tatev tour on April 20 and the highlight was Tatev Monastery but expect a long day. The tour left at 8:30 am and got back around 10:30 pm because Tatev is a 4 hour drive from Yerevan. Our guide was Katch and he lead all the English speakers. Normally the tours have Russian and English guests but I guess the group was large enough to break up. And we had a smaller bus. There were around 20 of us. We paid 19900 AMD per person for the tour and a one way cable car was included to get to Tatev. Then, the bus picked us up from there. Lunch was not included and they make a stop and there were 3 options for lunch. Food was OK. The beef was a bit gamey and the chicken looked very dry. 2 hours before arriving back in Yerevan, there is a stop for 30 minutes for you to buy some food at a rest stop but the food didn't look too great. Overall we enjoyed our tour with Katch and the driver was great but expect a long day.

Outstanding tour, Shaki waterfall is a must to see place , thanks to our guide Yervant the trip was so nice and smooth although it was one of the long trips (if not the longest) we took, over 14 hours. Tatev monastery was so touching and the experience of the aerisl tramway was awesome. Very special Thank You to our very experienced driver Spartak.

During my stay in my beautiful country Armenia I took several times and several tours with Hyur Service, all of them were perfect and I had a pleasant time. I really recommend this travel company and as I said it doesn’t matter which one as long as being by Hyur Service. I have a nice experience with our tour guides specially during the trip to Georgia and previous one to Shaki waterfall and Tatev by young guy named Yervand , he is so knowledgeable, caring, supportive and so helpful during the trips, I am so happy with the other tour guide Gayane toward Dilijan. God Bless Hyur service company for providing more and more excellent service like before.
