Great tour guide, Karen, and driver Khachatur. Karen’s English was easy to understand and he has an incredible singing voice which he displayed at the monastery.

Very well thought out and timed tour. Thank you to our great driver Khatchador and our priceless, knowledgeable, bilingual and talented singer/tour guide Karen K. His English was very good and he had so many interesting stories about mythology and historical events and characters. I highly recommend this tour. The lunch restaurant Faeton had a delicious and plentiful menu. I would be happy to book another tour with Karen!

We had this tour today with Hyur Services with the tour manager, Mrs Marina, and our Driver Maverick. Both of them done a fantastic job in their respective fields . Very good trip, beautiful locations, great food and tour guide Marina was very knowledgeable. Bus driver was quite experienced and we moved quickly. I appreciate the accurate hotel pick up time but it’s a pity there is no drop off. A bit misleading that I selected an English speaking tour but was in a group, where 60% of all guided explanations were in Russian. The organizers might want to reconsider how to restructure this because there was less attention to the English speaking travelers given we were less people. Lastly: we didn’t get any prenotice to wear winter booths given that half the trip was in snow for which we weren’t aware about the substantial climate difference. It would have been helpful.

This was a full-day tour but not at all tiring. We saw Gyumri town and had over an hour of free time to wander and photograph the streets. But I prefered the spectacular monastery that we visited on the way back - stunning setting and beautiful architecture. We also visited the Black Fortress, which was surprisingly attractive from the inside, like some sort of Gothic film set. The reason I chose the tour was to see the incredibly interesting Museum of Urban Life, and it did not disappoint! Great furniture, a local guide brimming with tales, really excellent. The time on the bus was well spent. Our fantastic guide, Tatev, was soooo informative at every stage. I learnt so much about the people who live in Armenia and their lifestyle, and Tatev welcomed every question from our group. I loved the day, came back with tonnes of photos, and I'm planning my next tour with Hyur in a few days.

This was a very nice tour - well organised and on time at every stop and stage of the journey. I really liked urban life museum and Harichavank, last monastery / church on the agenda - we had a chance to see a sunset there. We were also given one hour of free time in Gyumri, which allowed everyone to do something that they liked. Our driver Hayk was very professional and careful, and our guide Karen was engaging and attentive throughout the journey. Thank you for the time well spent.

This one was challenging for me to be with 14 Russian speakers and only a few English speakers. Gyumri was somewhat disappointing in that I spent a whole day for this tour. The museum was interesting, though.

We had a wonderful tour around the urban life museum of Gyumri with very interesting descriptions and information provided by the local guide. The tour overall did not focus only on Gyumri and its historical sites but it also included other historically significant locations near the city. The views of the Black Fortress and Harichavank were amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour of the old streets of Gyumri and of Vardanants Square and seeing the buildings made of black and red tufa stone. The whole trip was very insightful, informative and our guide provided a lot of details about the city and it was a great learning experience. She was very accommodating and conscientious in answering questions from participants. The transportation (minibus) was modern and included all the amenities needed - water and snacks were also provided and regular breaks were given. The food, however, was not included in the tour price and the options were limited to 3 choices which included vegetarian, chicken and fish. I would have preferred if we could have been given the option to venture out and have a better selection of food options. Nonetheless, overall, I would still recommend this tour as it was a good value for money.

Our tour guide Karen and our driver Joseph were amazing. Very detailed and engaging explanation of history during the drive and on site. We visited multiple places including a museum, main city, and Montessori. Our tour guide even sang for us in the Montessori, it was a beautiful experience. The bus is very clean and the driving was very safe, recommend for sure
