The ride was beautiful along the shores of Lake Como. Had some steep sections. My wife and I don’t ride, Alex and her team were very helpful . The views from where we stopped and ate lunch were some of the best we saw of Como and the food was good. We are both in our mid 50’s and made the 30 kilometer ride with no problems.

We absolutely loved our group ride. Our guides Gabrielle and Alex were really great at keeping us all on track, safe and well informed on the region. Our stop at the cycling chapel and museum was really cool - seeing all the bikes and jerseys of famous riders really made you realise what a special place it is. The pace was relaxed and allowed for good chats between all the group over the course of the ride. The E bikes definitely helped on that front 😀 The ride was finished off with a really nice and chilled lunch and more opportunity to chat with everyone (and for Gabrielle & us to compare pics of our cats - far out cousins at least!) It was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Bellagio and we would have no hesitation in recommending 🚴🏻‍♀️ Ride on!

My 21 YO daughter and I did the Group Bike Tour: Onno & Ghisallino (E-bikes and Road bikes) in July 23 and loved it. Both of us rarely ride and probably hadn't ridden a bike for the last year or more. Even though the 3 other people on the tour were clearly engaged in the sport we were made to feel quite welcome and did not feel out of place - Helps when the E-assistance on the bikes we had meant we had no problem keeping up. Great mix of exercise (as little or as much as you want depending on the level of assistance you have selected at the time), fresh air, fantastic scenery, and good company. Gabriel, our guide, was excellent including making the Bike museum visit at the top of the hill absolutely riveting, even for those such as us with little prior interest in cycling.

The best experience we had while in Lake Como! Gabriele and Alex were amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and a lot of fun. Can’t say enough good about this bike tour. My family of six and I had an awesome time.

This was the highlight of our Lake Como stay. Our guide was Gabriele and he was the most kind and patient host. We were part of a group of 6 people (a family of 4 + the 2 of us, a couple) and he made sure that all of us were comfortable on our e-bikes before the ride and all throughout. This was our first time using e-bikes and I was a little nervous to try them out, but wow they were awesome. Easy to figure out and really nice to have a break going uphill when you want/need it. The views were stunning - Bellagio is beautiful by the lakeside but you really get to take it all in when you’re on top of those hills. Gabriele made sure to stop at several spots for photos and even showed us a few off the beaten path areas of interest. We ended the ride with a a delicious lunch (bread, cold cuts, cheese, jam, wine) at a nearby restaurant overlooking the lake. And the best part was getting to know Gabriele and hear about his life (#ironmaiden). We also has the best family as part of our group which really made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Luca and Luca were perfect organisers/hosts of this experience. The bikes were great, the ride was amazing, the food sensational. So well thought-out, so friendly, and impossibly beautiful views. I haven’t ridden a bike for like ten years… for this experience I used an e-bike and it was completely fine and doable. Really really loved this experience.

Had a wonderful 2hours of cycling with Bike It Bellagio. They still ran the tour even though there were only two of us. Our guide was Gabriel and he was excellent - safely leading us around busy roads and through quiet small villages, and of course ultimately up to the Madonna de Ghisallo - it really is a must for cyclists (and great for non-cyclists). The views are unbelievable the whole tour. Plenty of stops to catch your breath, refill bidons, and take photos. And the Bianchi bikes are superb - they almost ride themselves up the mountain (and the ebikes do)! Then we had a yummy lunch in front of the bike shop to discuss our exploits (and dream of leading the Giro up the mountain) 🤣 Casey was great handling all my queries. I also rented shoes which fit perfectly. An outstanding tour all around - great value for money. Highly recommended.

If you’re in or near Bellagio and like cycling this is a must. We had Imad as a guide and apart from being an awesome cyclist gave us a tour I will personally never forget. Beautiful Bianchi bikes through beautiful mountain and lake scenery and lovely towns. It doesn’t get more Italian than this!

We did the 34k tour in a group of 3 with our excellent guide Julia. The e-bikes are great and make the trip easily manageable for a 65 year old like me! Some amazing views and all finished off with a cold beer and local food. Highly recommended for visitors to this area of Lake Como.

We did an E bike tour and hired a road bike with Luca and Casey. The bike tour was great fun and Casey and Luca run such a lovely shop together. They were also super helpful with tips for our stay in Como. Highly recommended – the best around!

Communications with the c-owner Casey of Bike It went smooth and efficient. Altough a rainy morning we (my 16 year old daughter and my wife) did the 34 km tour. As tough or easy you want to make it with the excellent e-bike provided. The tour is competed with a fantastic authentic lunch at the restaurant next door of the bike shop (all included in the price). Casey has been a great, friendly and pleasant host as was the owner of the place were we had lunch, 😀. Looking for a bike tour, look no more...

Once my wife and I decided we were going to Lake Como I immediately started looking for guided rides near by. Bike it Bellagio offered the option of e-bikes which, for a guy who’d never done enough hill climbing was a perfect fit. The Guide was Luca, the owner and the lady who took my booking was Casey his wife. Both were so accommodating and any fear of mixing it with experience riders was soon dispelled. The climbs were challenging, the scenery amazing and the history and local stories from Luca were fascinating. I would definitely recommend them to any level of rider and - by the way - I never actually used the e-bike feature which say a lot about the guide and how he gauges the pace of all riders to keep is in a group. I will be back thanks Luca and Casey

We discovered Bike It! Bellagio when researching bike rentals in northern Italy as part of our anniversary vacation. Casey and Luca soon became our "concierge" for the local area including our B&B, anniversary restaurant, and all things bike - rentals, tours, rides and routes. Our experience started extremely positively as we were in touch with Casey via email months before our vacation started. She answered all our queries promptly and was very helpful. It was convenient to communicate with an American in Italy. We rented a Bianchi road bike and an ebike. When we arrived, our bikes, shoes, and helmets (in our sizes) were ready and waiting for us. Casey and Luca made sure they fit us properly, including outfitting the road bike with the correct clips well ahead of our first ride. On Tuesday we did the Onno and Ghisallino Group Tour. Luca was our guide and did a great job leading us up and down the mountain. He could not have been more accommodating. He knew where to stop for some scenic photos and relayed his vast knowledge of the area. At the top, we stopped at the Cycling Museum and chapel where Luca took us through the museum and chapel explaining the history of Italian biking (of which he is very knowledgeable). The price included a "lunch" at the end of the ride. They provided a feast of pizza, meats and cheeses and sandwiches with your favorite beverage (including some Moretti beer). We had a great time recalling the ride as we enjoyed the meal. The original plan was for Kevin to take the road bike for a second day and ride half day to Lake Lugano. But Meryl liked the group ride on the ebike so much she decided to ride with Kevin on the 2nd day. So on Wednesday we were outfitted with BikeIt GPSs and rode the Pedalata a Porlezza route. This took us across Lake Como on the ferry and then a 35KM ride across northern Italy to the town of Porlezza on Lake Lugano. Beautiful views. Fun ride! As the title of this review states, these bike rides were the highlight of our trip to Northern Italy for our 40th anniversary. Thank you Casey and Luca for making it so special, including the shuttle ride from our hotel to the ferry when we left Bellagio.

We had a great time and would love to go back for another tour! Our guide was fun and informative. The route in Bellagi was hilly but with the e-bikes, it was as easy or as challenging as we wanted to make it. Thanks for a fun experience!

To everyone at your shop I want to say thank you again and let you know that you guys are doing a great job of promoting cycling and the beauty of the Lake Como area! Two weeks ago I had a wonderful time biking up to the Madonna del Ghisallo with a group of e-bikers. Although I’m an old man from the flatlands of midwestern USA I had arranged to ride a regular road bike. From the start things went perfectly when Luca picked me up promptly at the ferry stop. On the way to the shop he asked me how was my climbing and I told him it was “slow” however I was soon to find out that on at least one steep gradient I was faster than the e-bikers! Once at the shop Casey quickly got my bike correctly set up and ready to go. Our guide Julia was wonderful escorting our group along the way and preparing us for what challenges lay ahead. I also had a fun time speaking with her in three different languages although I hate to admit that my Italian is probably the worst of the three! Highlights included the winding roads, quaint villages, gorgeous views, a stop for caffè, the Madonna del Ghisallo and cycling museum and a great lunch post-ride. I won’t soon forget the enjoyable time I had with our entire group. I hope to be able to return again some day to Lake Como and to do some more cycling, and I will recommend your shop to all my cycling friends. Luca and Casey you have a great thing going and I’m certain your business will continue to be successful. Julia congratulations on your graduation from university, and I want to wish you the best of luck for the future!

For anyone thinking about lugging your own bike to Italy to cycle - READ THIS. I just completed a 5-star cycling trip from Rome to Bellagio (St Peter's to the Ghisallo) guided by Bike It's Luca Negri. I had originally decided I wanted to "ride my own bike" on the trip and was concerned about bike comfort and unfamiliarity of features if rented - particularly since the multi-day adventure covered 850km with a lot of climbing. However, a few weeks before the trip I asked the Bike It staff if they had a road bike in my size with Shimano Di2 and Hydraulic Disc Brakes - and they did! So - I decided to take a chance, ride their bike, and save myself a lot of travel hassle by leaving my bike (hand-built titanium with SRAM AXS) - and I"M SO GLAD I DID! The Bianchi Infinito DV fitted with Di2, hydraulic disc brakes, power meter, 50/34 and 11-32 cassette was SO great! Comfortable and a great handling climber and descender - honestly I was sad to turn it in at the end of the trip since it had performed so well during the trip.
