Lots of food-too much really, everyone took the last stop’s food -gyro sandwich) to go. Knowledgeable guide tho hard to hear sometimes. Can they use whisper boxes and headphones?

Tonia, our guide, was wonderful. Very friendly, kind and had great energy throughout the entire tour. We had the chance to taste a variety of foods and learn about the Greek culture some more. Definitely recommend. And don’t worry! There is more than enough food!

So many different ways to experience Greek culture through food, markets, and coffee. Our tour guide was a font of information as well. Thoroughly enjoyable.

This tour is the perfect start to a trip in Athens. You get a good overview of the area and the history of the city while also getting some delicious food to pair! I've never stopped at as many stops as on this trip - some were smaller, sampling type stops, but then we had a full sit down meal, wine pairing, and gyros to finish it off. Definitely worth your money and time. Adele was such a great host!

Such a fun way to spend the afternoon and enjoy a sample of typical Greek cuisine. Our guide Dorella was amazing. It truly felt like she was hosting a small dinner party! She educated us on each course we were sampling and how it was prepared by the restaurant we were visiting and also how it might be prepared in everyday life in Greece. We had a great time seeing and tasting things we might not have on our own.

Had an absolute fantastic time. Our guide was personable, well informed, kept nice and even pace, and made this tour one of the highlights of our trip. Cannot recommend it enough!

My wife and I took this private food tour with Eleni. She was a wonderful guide that we strongly recommend. As we were just two people, she was able to take us several places difficult to visit with a large group. Eleni taught us much about Greek food, Athens, and local life. We are so many different foods we had to turn down the final location! Highly recommend Eleni and this tour.

Excellent experience! The amount of food sampled was over the top! Our guide Dimitra was truly a pleasure - knowledgeable, friendly, and funny - she made the tour an unforgettable time!

We tried a large variety of authentic Greek food and it was delicious. Our guide also shared with us the differences with our dishes might be prepared for in the home verses in a restaurant. We didn’t eat breakfast beforehand and that was a good thing because we were so full and had to even share our pita at the last stop. We had spanakopita and other bakery items, then tried fried donut-like things with honey and cinnamon and sugar, next got to try traditional Greek coffee that is made using sand, took a stroll through the meat and fish market, went to a restaurant and shared many different small dishes and ended the walk with a traditional gyros. Our guide was knowledgeable and so friendly!

I booked a private food tour for our first night in Athens. We were pretty wiped out from 26 hours of travel, but Tonia made us feel so special that we almost forgot how tired we were. She showed us wonderful places to eat Greek specialties and gave us an interesting glimpse into Greek culture. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

Nikolato was very nice person and funny. We didn't get board during the tour and she was full of passion in explaining food and history behind it. I would recommend to go with this tour if you are willing to taste and to know more the Greek food.

Our guide was Katherine. She took us to so many great eateries and spoke fluently about the greek traditions around food. We expected small samples of food in each place but no...we had copious amounts in EVERY place. We tasted foods like sardines that we would never have ordered but were delectable! We also visited thriving meat and fish markets that showcased an abundance of fresh products. This tour was a highlight of our trip and a great way to see Athens on foot.
