Cramon was a knowledgeable and likeable guide. He timed things perfectly and was the right balance of giving us info and letting us experience it ourselves.

Our guide was great. Got to see bison herds, antelope, and mule deer. We then watched the sunset from a beautiful vantage point.

The driver was pleasant and drove the van carefully. He lacked knowledge of the area we visited. There were lots of biting bugs although we had been told that would not be the case. The .9-mile hike was along an ascending trail that was washed out at a number of points and would have been dangerous for anyone with walking or balance issues. The written and online information of the tour said we would be picked up and or returned to our hotel. Neither occurred. We did get a few nice shots of the island's animals. Clearly not worth the cost and I rate it 3.8 out of 5 points at best.

Our guide Leah was delightful as well as knowledgeable. She created a community experience for the 7 of us in the van. Choose the sunset tour if you can. It was stunning.

Garth was awesome! Funny and very knowledgeable. Weather wasn't on our side for the hike but we saw tons of wildlife and learned a lot about history of the island.

Our guide Claman was great. He was knowledgeable and very personable. We saw bison, coyotes, and antelope. The sunset at the viewpoint we hiked to was amazing. It was a wonderful excursion.

I am so grateful I chose this tour. Majestic views of the landscape and wildlife. Our guide Cramon was wonderful. His enthusiasm and appreciation for nature was contagious. The hike was as described, steep at times with rocky terrain, but Cramon planned ample time to climb at a leisurely pace. Thank you for the opportunity to see and learn about this beautiful area.

If you only have time to do one thing while you are in Salt Lake City, this should be it! Our guide, Cramon, gave shared so much about the Great Salt Lake, the history, the animals, the city, and the landscape. The bison did not disappoint. Plus we caught a glimpse of a coyote, black tail deer, antelope, and lots of birds. The hike at the end was breaktaking. Watching the sunset in absolute quiet, hearing nothing but the wind and the wildlife was so peaceful and grounding. I would absolutely come back to do this tour again with family.

Great guide. Super friendly. Unfortunately couldn’t do the hike because of the rain. But otherwise a good one to go.

This was such a fun excursion. Garth was relaxed, knowledgeable, kind and a fun guy to hang out with for the afternoon/evening. The scenery was stunning (that's coming from someone who spends a lot of time in Montana). The wildlife didn't disappoint. The sunset was gorgeous. Our tour guide was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a wonderful experience. The view was beautiful. The hike was easy. The only complication was we had to change the pick up location last minute (a few hours) prior to the trip. Phone calls were channeled through call center in Philippines and the tour guide did not get the message. So, we were somewhat stressed at the beginning needing to figure out how to be picked up. Thankfully, the tour guide/driver texted us from the originally arranged hotel and we were able to communication the missed info. Your guide was very helpful and was able to come to the new place to pick us up. Everything else was smooth.

Friendly knowledge guide and gorgeous views all around. Guide was very communicative and prompt. Very unique experience. Only thing I would change were the bugs so be prepared!

Leah's enthusiasm and love of wildlife made this trip so fun. She pointed out the mule deer, pronghorn, birds and of course bison! This is a special getaway just outside of Salt Lake City. Heads up: the final 0.8 mile hike at the end is easy but sloping uphill, so you'll need to be in decent cardiovascular shape if you're 60 and older. But the sunset view is definitely worth it!
