We had a wonderful experience. Our guide Valeh was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave a good background of the historical places we visited and was kind enough to take our pictures. He even took a detour to the beach as we wanted to take some pictures there.

During my day tour with guide Valah, we explored Gobustan's ancient rock art and learned about Zoroastrianism's history. We marveled at UNESCO-listed petroglyphs and visited sacred fire temples, gaining insights into early human life and religious practices. It was a day rich in education and discovery.

It was one of the unique trips that I experienced. The culture and historical information of Azerbaijan was clearly explained by our tour guide Valeh, very informational. I love everything about the tour especially the fire mountain coolest, the rock formations in Gobustan and mud volcanoes. It's very unique experience.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We learnt so much and I really can’t imagine a better way to experience the surrounding baku area and its attractions! I really have nothing negative to add.

We loved all of the stops on this tour...each was so unique and was exactly what we went to Baku to see outside the city. We never felt rushed and had more than enough time to explore each site. Our driver and guide were wonderful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this tour!

The tour leader Valah is a specialist in history and archeology with a university degree. The man is rich in historical information that my wife and I benefited from. He explained the history of Baku before Christ and how to understand the Stone Age drawings, as he showed us the permanent source of fire in the mountain millions of years ago, during a temple tour. Here I tip my hat to him, as he explained to us information that you will not see through YouTube, in addition to all this, he gave me an extra tour of the famous Nizami Street in Baku, I highly recommend joining him

Gobustan archaeological site was most fun! Mr. Valeh was most helpful in explaining about the sites. And presented it in the most fun way.

It's was a great informative tour. We get pickedup from the hotel. Also, because it was our first visit to Azerbaijan. Our guide Valeh was friendly and helpful for the entire trip he welcomed us to Azerbaijan and talked about the history of Azerbaijan as a whole and history of Baku, He was kind to tell us alot of helpful tips in staying in Azerbaijan. We first went to Gobustan Museum to see the meaning of the engravings through time, and then we walked to the caves in the mountains which contained historic engravings. Next we went to the fire temple were we walked throughout the rooms each has it own historic meaning. And ended with Gobustan mud volcano which looks cool as the small volcanos are slowly erupting with bobbles. We the dropped off in our hotel safe and sound. We really enjoyed our tour and thanks to our guide Valeh which was patient and kind with us. I recommend everyone to get in this tour.

You must do this tour when you visit Baku! Firstly, when we visited, the roads were all shut following the Formula 1 and a nightmare to navigate, but we were still able to be picked up a short 5 minute walk from the hotel, which we were very grateful for. Secondly, we couldn't believe our luck that PhD- qualified archaeologist Valeh was our guide! He was so knowledgeable and we learnt so much during the tour. He was great at making sure we ran to time, whilst giving us enough time to linger and take in the sites. He also took us through all the different sites in a great order, so we really understood what we were looking at and therefore got so much out of the tour. The driver was also fantastic and got us through the traffic very skillfully - the car was in great condition, air conditioned and very comfortable. Lunch recommendation was delicious - awesome fish and seafood which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Valeh - we will be recommending this tour to everyone now!

My dad and I only had a short trip to Baku and we wanted to pack in as much as possible. This tour was the perfect solution. Our guide, Valeh, was wonderful. He is an archeologist so his knowledge and passion for the petroglyphs made the trip unforgettable. We learned infinitely more than we would have on our own. When you’re given the choice of restaurant for lunch, go with the authentic option! We sat down in the most untouristy restaurant imaginable and had a fantastic meal. We got to experience a real Baku slice of life. Valeh’s passion for Azerbaijan and sharing it with people is infectious. The petroglyphs were the highlight but it would be an oversight to skip any of the stops. None of the rest would have felt worth it on their own so I’m glad we went with the all-encompassing option. Can’t recommend this tour enough if you only have a short time in Baku. Thank you, Valeh, for a great day. It was confusing that we needed to book it and pay for it as a minimum of two adults and one child, though.

We booked our trip with Bag Baku and we couldn’t be any happier with them. Very interesting sights and detailed explanation was provided by our tour guide Valeh. You should ask him to bring you to the place in the attached pictures for lunch, where you can feel the very authentic Azerbaijan! 🇦🇿

We booked the private tour comprising of Gobustan, Mud volcanoes, Fire temple, Fire mountain. I have to say we were most impressed by Gobustan with the history and Valeh provided a lot of info and was very insightful from the archaeological aspect. The museum was albeit too small for all the crowd (and we apparently came on a not crowded day!) so it might be better to do it on a weekday. The rest of the sights was smaller than expectations but still interesting to see. Lunch (on our own) was in a buffet restaurant with a wide variety and food quality was good so everyone was happy.

We had a wonderful time exploring with Bag Baku Tour. (My husband and I had booked their private tour option.) We were able to see Gobustan's petroglyphs and mud volcanoes, fire temple and fire mountain all in one day - thanks to this tour. Our guide Jale was fantastic - super knowledgable, nice and enthusiastic. We saw A LOT in one day, and every step of the trip went off without a hitch. These guys are very organized and professional! Highly recommend booking with them - especially if you are short on time but still want to see the highlights of the area! Be sure to wear comfy clothes, though, as there is a fair amount of walking. You also run the risk of getting mud on you at the mud volcanoes. I was shocked out how far the mud can fly when they bubble up! I ended up getting a good smattering of it all over my dress, and I was standing several feet away from the volcano. (So, avoid light-colored clothing that can stain easily.) Also, be aware that Fire Mountain is a rather small fire (not an entire mountain on fire, as its name suggests). I heard some people being rather disappointed about its size - so, I just wanted to point that out too! It's still cool to see, in my opinion, but just go into this with realistic expectations.

We had an amazing day and really enjoyed each very different and interesting site. It’s hard to chose which we liked best, but the petroglyphs and mud volcanoes were both great. Our guide, Valeh, was fantastic - very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He answered all my husbands questions, which is a benefit of taking a private tour.
